Hariko would arrive in mist, moving through the trees in the area. He would sense Adell, Logan, and Shikarama, along with some girl, all set near the gates. He would appear behind them, soon after his name was mentioned. Shikarama, seeing everyone there, would begin his explanation. Hariko would reveal his capabilities, which clearly made him best for controlling the fight and attacking through stealth and speed. Adell would declare the retaking, and then head into the village. Hariko turned and headed out of sight from there. He was ready to get the jump on the enemies when they reappeared. Chakra total: 43536 Spendable Cp: 2662 Words: 100 reserved Cp: 152

When Shikarama stood up, Beta began to fall over to the right. This caused her to be suddenly woken up, and she noticed everyone was suddenly there. As she looked around, she noticed everyone was ether a big shot ninja, or a little boy. Does that mean she was the only girl?
They greeted her, and Adell even pointed out she was going to help them. As he smirked at her, she simply waved. She had turned to Logan, and Hariko, and greeted them as well. Her golden locks blew in the wind, as the breeze carried her sweet scent upon it. She smiled softly to them, with Aya's playful gleem in her eyes.
"Hello to you two. My name is X-O7IIO5 Beta. You can call Mystery if you so wish. I'm here to help you take back the Mist, I look forward to working with you." She exclaimed while Shikarama began to go over the plan. She was a little discouraged as he had put her on the front lines, which was not her strong point. But she kept quiet about it until they were all dismissed, and were heading towards their destination. While they were walking, she walked next to Shikarama, and slowly leaned closer to whisper to him.
"Now is probably not the best time, but strength lies within stealth. The front lines is not something I'm particularly good at." She told him with a soft whisper.

"I'm surprised and positively tickled that I would be entrusted with 'taking the reins' for this job. I must have done the right job to get this sort of honor. Might have to grit and bear it once again to see what else I can have a go at." A young girl with silver hair separated on either side and gripped on the ends by makeshift click clacks made from actual eyeballs grins behind a thick cover of bangs. Her grin is very large, larger than one might think her tiny mouth could manage. She drags her axe with bone hilt along the ground shrouded in fog as she observes what she can of the village shrouded in a thin mist now. She could see but for however long the mist would permit her was unknown. "This place is rather dead to be under the rule of that clown man. Or was it a mime? I wish he'd show up because when he does I'm going to see if a baby will say, 'Is anyone freaked out that the mime is talkin',' I'm beginning to like this place almost as much as my job with that in mind." The small girl clutches her weapon and then begins to unravel a pair of scrolls that she had clutched in her free hand.
"So the captain said to just add blood and then they will appear? So is it like one of those dinosaurs that grow when you add water? Except the blood makes it special, right?" She would bite down on her tongue and then spit the blood onto her upraised thumb. She would toss the scrolls while wiping her thumb across them and then wait for them to react. For a long time they did nothing. But after it would fall to the ground it would seem to begin attracting the mist. "No mist, no. You're going to ruin the dinosaurs," the girl complains as she can't help but grin. "That's a failure so what now? This is a misty village so maybe I should release a poison and kill all the weaklings? Or maybe I should shatter the village with an attack from underground? Or what if I set the village on fire with a flame that can't be extinguished? No... Captain would want me to kill all humans! Then he'd want me to burglarized and find jewelry for myself. And then he would want me to dismantle the establishment board by board. I think that I'll dismantle faces sliver of skin by sliver of skin though. Shu shu shu."
The girl would have been stationed in the village for quite some time as her Captain had every intention of destroying the entire village. She would have been hidden in the village for at least a few years, biding her time until he decided it was time to strike. She supposed now that he'd obtained the thing he sought, the time was right. If only she knew what situation she was walking into. The poor soul. "Listen up to those that can hear me. I'm going to destroy this village since you destroyed our ship. So play telephone and tell a friend. But be warned that if you tell wrong you lose... your life."
Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
Adell had split up with Logan as they moved through the village. The both of them would inform the villages to get to safety. He would also take out any of the hidden clown forces that remained within the village. It seemed they had all but removed these enemy ninja, rather easily. It was surprisingly uncontrolled for a taken over village. Had something gone wrong with their forces. Who knew. Regardless, he kept going. He would move along the rooftops to get a better view. He stopped however, as he saw, in the middle of the village, was a strange girl, just as she was tossing a strange looking scroll, and a mist formed around it, he grew warry, approaching her slowly. Her words caught his ears, and his expression became serious. He jumped down suddenly, moving in front of her, glancing to the scroll. "Destroy the village. That's quite a treat to make. I'm sorry about your boat, but you can't possibly blame an entire village for something like that. Now, why don't you calm down, before someone gets hurt?" He would ask her, treading carefully. He would prepare his chakra to act in case he would need it, a hand ready to reach for one of the three weapons on his back. His attention was still partially trained on the scroll, wondering what it was. He had never seen a summoning jutsu personally, after all, and had only ever heard of the technique. The girl seemed dangerous, certainly, but he didn't know enough about her, and would have rathered this not all end in bloodshed. He would wait for her response before attacking, hoping he could reach her. 83370 SP/chakra Spendable skill points: 448 Word Count: 280 Reserved: 219
The girl would observe a young girl rushing for cover and reach out a hand to grab her only to sense someone's presence and retract her hand. She would scrape the blade of her scythe against the ground a moment as the figure begins to speak. She didn't care what he was saying. In fact if she weren't fighting then she'd thrust a sharp object through the center of her forehead in an attempt to disable her cognitive abilities. Despite that she knew it would not work on her so she would have had to listen to him anyway. Something about 'do't do that Billy you'll poke your eye out' or something. As this occurs a pulsating mass of goo would only faintly be seen amongst the natural mist of the village and the fog that had rolled in across the ground. It would be pressed up against the back of the girl's right leg as it alters what shadow she seemed to have to only hold the shape of a blob. "Get Real! You aren't sorry about OUR boat but you will be--." Just as she responds to her opponent she suddenly clutches her scythe and hunches forward. She groans a moment before coughing and blood spattering a little towards this approacher's body and then to the ground as she aims her head downward.
"Guess he was right saying I shouldn't talk with my mouth full. Shu shu shu." The girl grins as her silver eyes are barely seen when she blows her bangs upward to thin them to either side of her face some. "I'll tell you what--since getting hurt is a habit of mine--if you destroy the village and kill every villager then I'll let you live along with any worthwhile shinobi here. I always wanted a crew member under me but since I'm new... You understand, don't you?" She bargained this knowing full well she wouldn't actually do it. Well, more that she would but her Captain would kill them and she knew it. But fun is always short lived, isn't it? "But if you don't then I'll just have to get you to. I'll make you yell and beg and then you can make me holler and plead. Because I don't make threats, just promises. Threats are mean and I'm not that but I can be cruel." She'd examined the area enough using her extra sensory ability. She would be sure to remain somewhere close to this area for now. She would focus her chakra and then unleash it in order to activate Cloak Art: God of Decay.
This would begin to rapidly erode away the nearby buildings and to weaken her acquaintance in equal amount to the amount expelled for the technique. As she does this she would move through hand signs as fast as she can ultimately making it near impossible for her target to discern what attack she is forming. Bringer of Darkness would seek to overwhelm the senses of the male and eventually allow for her to freely attack him without him knowing more or less. Added with the God of Decay attack from before this would mentally delay him to allow for her to act again and for him to be a touch more susceptible to her Bringer of Darkness technique if he wasn't already. "You should conserve chakra." A voice cautious in her head but the girl just grins more and more. She would conserve chakra eventually. She just needed to 'see' first. As this is happening she works on going into her pocket with her free hand within her shirt sleeve to try ad see what she can find while beginning to walk slowly towards her target with the blob traveling closely behind her. If examined the scrolls would be shown to have been activated so whatever she had summoned would now be out and on the battlefield.
All sorts of people travelled through Hidden Mist. Some were familiar faces, back from journeys to distant lands. Others were strangers, visiting this village for the first time, for whatever reasons drew them. Some came to become stronger, others came because it was convenient. There were any number of reasons, as many reasons as there were visitors. Some stayed for only a day, and some stayed longer than others.
One of those who had stayed had never been noticed. At least, not directly. The custodian might have remarked on it, but he was a grumpy old man, and nobody took him seriously. When he began speaking of 'that damned cup of water that won't empty!', everyone generally wondered if he was going senile. But he wasn't. In fact, he was as alert as ever, and had noticed something that everyone else had overlooked all these months. For that was no ordinary cup of water. The cup itself was ordinary, beaten metal. The former leader of Mist had chosen it, because it couldn't shatter and become a weapon like a glass mug. The one he had given the mug to hadn't cared one way or another, for the opportunity had remained, no matter what the mug was made out of. They had left the mug behind when they seemed to take their leave, and nobody noticed. That simple act had proven the seed for any number of opportunities.
But who had left this mug, and why was it so special? None other than Rumi Spekt, someone who was virtually unknown. She had never fought in any battles, nor had she been responsible for any great acts of political clout or even any profitable acts of merchanteering. Up until now, the secret of her identity had been closely guarded, known to only a select few who had deduced far more than they should. That number had been at two for all this time; perhaps it would go up by the end of this disturbance. For there was a disturbance. In the air, voices carried, and the faint emissions of chakra being prepared for war. There was fighting afoot.
As such, the slender and rain-drenched form of Rumi made her way back from one of Hidden Mist's training fields. She had been spending time there lately, for its relative peace and quiet, compared to the hustle and bustle of the village proper. But now it seemed that she could ignore the commotion no longer. So she was headed directly toward where the action seemed to be, as if guided there by something that couldn't be seen with the naked eye. Her sense of direction seemed spot-on, she was closing inexorably on the same location where several other persons of note had gathered.
The clouds above grew dark, heavy with rain. This wasn't too far outside the norm for a land like Hidden Mist, especially at this time of the year. Nobody would have any reason to expect those clouds were anything more than simple rainclouds. Nobody would know that they presaged the arrival of someone who was more than they appeared. [518 + ??? = ??? out of ??? ]
(People forgot that she never left Mist... I knew it would come in handy to just wait a while.)
Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
Adell watched, made cautious as the blob appeared. The girl would lean on her scythe, as she coughed up some of her own blood. Was she injured? He wasn't certain, however it seemed from her words that she was ready to fight, as she was focusing her chakra, he would do the same. With a flash of hand seals, he had gotten off his first technique, and hopefully last, before her weakening effect would reach him. "Boil Style" He would exhale a thick mist towards her, just as the effect reached him. He gasped, feeling as if the strength was being sapped out of him. The mist would rapidly advance to envelope her. If she wasn't familiar with the technique, it would just resemble the hidden mist technique, until this mist would contact her. It behaved as a rather strong acid, and would corrode a large number of things, including nearly anything organic, metals, stone, clothing, hair, and of course, flesh and bone. It even was capable of dissolving things made of chakra. If it managed to envelope her, and she had nothing to defend herself, it would eat her away into nothingness in less then a minute. The blob as well was in danger of being consumed by it, as where whatever the summons were. The next thing he knew though, a wave of darkness would flow over him, and he would be blinded, unable to sense the world around him through sight. This. It had to be a genjutsu. He had been developing his chakra control with his previous techniques. He had to stop it. He felt weak though. He would need a moment to concentrate and dispel the effect. His hands moved to try and form more seals. Given the advancing cloud, her ability to advance on him would be greatly hindered. 83675 SP/chakra Spendable skill points: 753 Word Count: 305 Reserved: 219

"Seems like one of the dinosaur's ate the other. Bad Kushin! You shouldn't eat Rishix," the female blurts out suddenly. The blob would be seen pulsating with an antenna sticking out of its mass against her leg and the girl smiling. Just as the mist moves forward to attempt to encompass her and it appears that the expelling of the mist have finished she is gone along with the blob strapped to her. If her target could manage then he would find her to have teleported, literally disappeared and reappeared, behind him leaving a black figure where the girl had once been. The act of disappearing instead of moving fast was meant to not disturb whatever technique he had done as she couldn't be sure precisely what the technique could accomplish. Still, she could see the movement of the mist being changed and the amount increased with her eyes plainly. Additionally she had her bubble expanded still and had no intentions of letting it down. So she could tell that he'd launched something through the mist and didn't want it to follow her by means of drifting in the wind from moving. She would continue with her Teleport Slam attack and aim to grab her target by one arm with her free hand to slam them face down to the ground; avoiding letting him face her to keep him from trying something with that last attack again.
As this occurs the blob that had been attached to her would begin to meld with her even if her target should escape her grasp as she used Fusion. She would fuse with the creature and her target at the same time or else just it to take its properties into herself. Given that the summon was named Kushin, the name of a creature that had every ounce of genetic material of the animals, this would be a nice addition to her. This was especially true now that she'd combined with Rishix as well now. While she seemed to be powering up it wasn't doing to defeat this male as he was second priority. She needed to get stronger to completely destroy Hidden Mist. She was just fine fighting him on level footing if he proved to be durable enough for it. Well, until she was ready to do what she had come for, that is. She also saw him as some outside and not a villager simply because his hair was colored strangely so she did not have any orders to kill him or even fight him. "Blowing me a kiss? I really hope you're not underaged because I don't like going to *****. They don't let me use my hands ever. I wonder how long before you break? You still have to make me scream."
She would cough again because she had once again been talking with her mouth full of blood, but this time she would aim to spit the blood at his eyes instead of just on his body. This blood would be far different from the blood that she'd just used as this time it would have an acid nature to it. If it got into his eyes then his eyes would easily corrode away and leave him without eyes and blind. Given the nature of her Genjutsu, she assumed that he wouldn't see this coming. She would have to remember to swallow the blood draining from her tongue from when she used it to summon RIshix and Kushin.
Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
Adell's world had turned the blackness, and he only had a sense of hearing to rely on. He was used to fighting with obscured vision in the mist, and his hearing could partially make up for it. But he could hardly fight alone with it. He heard the sounds of movement behind him. He turned to try and avoid the attack, but her hand managed to grab a hold of his sleeve, of the brillant red robes he wore, and send him straight to the ground, hard. He was left groaning lightly from the hit. Thankfully, she wouldn't be able to fuse with his flesh, only the cloth. At the same time, some of the corrosive was flowing back towards her and him, more rapidly then before, as if it were being directed intelligently. At the same time, Adell would finish his hand seals that he had been forming. Instead of trying to dispell the genjutsu right then and there, he intended something else. "Earth Style: Submarine voyage." The Earth directly undernearth him became a liquid that he flowed into, acting to pull The woman's arm down with him. As he would discend, the earth directly above him would resolidify, trapping her arm, hopefully. All this prevented her from moving hopefully, as the mist moved would rapidly act to envelope her now and consume her. Able to remain below the ground like this for about a minute or two. Adell would focus on dispelling the genjutsu. She wouldn't have the chance, thankfully, to spit blood at him. 83932 SP/chakra Spendable skill points: 1010 Word Count: 257 Reserved: 219

The silver hair lass observes that she's grasped little more than fabric in her attack but still, she had a hold of something. An really that's more than what she expected to snag. As her attack would follow through, however, her opponent would discover the reason she had been scrounging around in her pocket sleeve before. As the figure would come earthward wires would begin to spool from the sleeve of the arm clutching her scythe and towards him in an attempt to wrap around him. So as the ground would soften to allow him safe passage into the earth so would it the wires. Certainly the fire would die out in the parts but that wasn't her main concern. "J-Jack... I'll never let you go Jack! Shu shu shu." The reels of wire would also be used to tug her closer to the ground so that she would disappear beneath the earth's surface at about the same speed as her target. Still she would be left partially exposed once he was underground. So as she would be using the wires to both pull her down with him and attempt to wrap around him amid the soft earth she would also begin to fuse with the ground. Using Fusion she could follow him anywhere underground with ease if need be. She didn't want to lose track of him just yet.
She was serious about him being under her as a crew member of her Captain. "Let's play in the dirt together dear boy," she moans as she senses the mist seeming to begin coming in her direction again. That was interesting. Perhaps she should see what exactly she's up against? Nope! Instead she just uses a touch of wind manipulation to gather up the mist that seemed to be intent upon getting in her way until it would combine to form a nice collection of droplets. The droplets would then form a puddle on the ground and so on. If it was any real threat then doing that would reveal it's nature hopefully. She assumed it was just a controlled mist used to obstruct vision since she didn't care to analyze it with her Ultimate Eye. So instead of dealing with it properly, she dealt with it that way. Her current target would not so easily get a chance to take it easy. She can't help but open her eyes wide as her smile couldn't get any bigger, giving her a crazed look. To any rational being, or at least one not blinded by a Genjutsu, they would deem this girl to absolutely mad without question. Her body would attempt not to fuse down too far to make her have to leave her scythe behind but if she must then she must. The wind would keep her treasure safe.
Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
In the liquid earth, he managed to break the genjutsu with his chakra just as the wires grabbed at him. The earth around him smothered the flames especially in its liquid state, but the heated wires would burn into his robes around his shoulders. He acted quickly, pulling his battle axe from his back, slashing through the liquid earth to cut the wires off of him. the liquified boil release would only give off some steam, reacting a small amount with the metals in the earth. It wouldn't corrode the earth itself, though. There were some things even acid, after all, was unable to react with. Adelle would quickly swim through the liquified earth to get some distance, before rising back out from it like a submarine, the earth below him becoming solid. He check his robes, finding burn marks and openings in them. He also noticed the hole left, a rip in his robes where she had fused with it and he pulled away. He would glanced to the ground then, towards the liquified boil vapor. He would leave it for now. His attention quickly move to the girl, partially still exposed with her scythe surrounded by wind. He would run forward towards her, moving to swing the axe down towards her form. At the same time, he would run his chakra through his body, prepared to act if she had something up her sleeve. 84168 SP/chakra Spendable skill points: 1246 Word Count: 236 Reserved: 219 78190/83090

Hm. Yeah. Your post was dependent on the cutting of the wires, right? |
She observes her target become more conscious and doesn't particularly like that. So as he would begin to remove his axe she would use a technique to extend her fingers into long and sharp points to not only aim to impale the axe but to also attempt to stab through her target in the shoulder blades to immobilize him. However, she wouldn't just do this without some assurance. She would add Dim Mak to her fingers now blade like appendages to literally shoot straight through anything in her path. She would move her fingers to easily cut the axe in a way where it would not just slice through her steel wires. "Don't make me laugh! Come on Charlie play," the girl demands as she goes a step further and adds a poisonous addition to her attack with Poison Claws. If he were to be effectively struck by her fingers then she would cast a poison into him but only enough to melt away the flesh as she couldn't be sure he didn't have some sort of last resort defense to stop her. Her claws aiming for the axe would work to erode the axe if possible but this poison was intended specifically for living targets.
One might warrant that considering her blades as blades was just her assuming but it wasn't. in a past life this specific Dante did so without issue and much more. She could and would consider her fingers as blades and use them to destroy this boy until he decided to submit and become her crew mate beneath her. As she proceeds to attack she would continue to manipulate her wires to wrap tighter and tighter around her target. "Why don't you quit? Be a member of our crew and cry uncle my lover. I can't stand to see you like this and not pinned under my foot!" She wasn't being cocky, she knew the tables could easily be turned on her. She was just getting herself a little too excited. Her face grows red with pleasure as she envisions this attack going through. Just the sights and sounds that would ensue were too much to hold in. Her wires received some damage from the initially pulling out of the axe but nothing too much to fret over.
Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
Thankfully, Adell would turn sideways as he pulled at the Axe. Her blade would come in, slashing along the side of the axe and cutting the metal, but not pinning it. The acid would corrode the side, but the axe was still intact enough the free him from the wires. At the same time, though the other finger aiming for his other shoulder blade would cut along his front, tearing through his robes and leaving a scratch on his chest. However, the poison flowing out from the claws would touch him as well, making him wince as the chemical burns at into the skin. With the claws on either side of him and extended past him, He was left with no choice but to pull away from her and rise back from the earth as quickly as he could, the ground solidifying again under him. He breathed heavily, a hand to the wound on his chest. Even with that, he realized he had narrowly avoided much worse. He glanced to the battle axe, noting the damage to it. It wouldn't last much more damage. He had to get on the offensive now. He jumped into the air, forming seals, as he exhaled three large fireballs at her general location. Now was the time to settle an score, one that had made her feel the heat of rage, and the anger of betrayal. Her own student had abandoned her, all because she wouldn't help him pay his depts, and now with his primary target was suddenly wiped off the face of the earth, he won default. Such a tragic ending, almost a bitter-sweet after taste. But the Zappaku would hit that stupid, naive little Mizu right where it hurt most, then rub some salt into the open wound. If only to inflict more pain. Yes, she was going to make him hurt, make him scream. Of course, she would allow him right back to her side if he begged her enough. But not before he felt all the pain, not until he suffered enough. And this was her way of teaching Hariko. She stuck to the shadows, kept to herself, and made the entire world forget her very presence.
Even Hariko wouldn't be able to sense her, even if he was an assassin. Even that Hyuuga brat wouldn't be able to see or sense her. And it was a good thing too. She saw the Nara boy with a dumb blonde chick. Whatever the reason, she was unspotted, just the way she wanted to be.
Making her way through the village, she made her way to the center of it all, where the action was at. Since Hariko's plan had failed miserably, and he was completely useless in this ordeal, and yet he still betrayed his teacher. What a dishonest, disloyal, amazingly dumb child Hariko had become. And it was her job as his elder to smack some sense into him. And she would, right where it hurts.
As Bel had been attacked by a huge fireball from a spastic ginger, Oasis smirked, her purple eyes gleaming with the sense to just pick him up by his skinny little neck, and watch the life drain from his eyes, piece by little piece. Her hands ached to be drenched in his blood, oh how delicious this little fruit looked. Her own body longed too simply break every little bone in his lightly toned body. Oh how fun this will be. Maybe she could help this little damsel in distress.
A long, large blue trident suddenly Smashed into the earth with enough force to crack it in almost all directions. As soon as the trident hit the ground, a strong, hail filled blizzard began to whip up around Bel, giving her the chance to escape if need be. But as soon as the fireball entered the blizzard, the fire was canceled by the ice and violent air. The blizzard got bigger and bigger, expanding to the point where even Adell was engulfed. As the blizzard began to whip up violently, freezing almost anything in it's path.
As Adell was struck with the sudden blizzard, another spear was thrown, directly into the center of his back. As he was in the air, he was practically a free target. Now, if only the spear flying out towards him would land a hit. He was taken by surprise, and the blizzard served as a distraction as well as protection for Bel. Let's not forget the fact he was in the air, a position that left him very wide open. The purple eyed psycho path stayed hidden, but her weapons were having a grand ol' time.
