"Smog eveywhere!" Mitsu commanded as Houndoom did as she commanded. "Follow up with Embers." Mitsu said. It wasn't physcial contact and would do only a little damage but she hoped the smog would get to the Pokemon.

"Oh, wow. I like their names!" Ryka said cheerfully, now feeling up to her usual peppiness. Ryka kept looking from the battle to Dante.
"I have a few more Pokemon, if you'd like to see them." Ryka called for her Pokemon, who were all still at the wall eating. They all ran over and greeted Dante. Twilight then became absorbed in the battle and Aurora wanted to play with Vulpix and Apollo. Blitz was the only one who was interested in the new human.
"This is Blitz, my Pikachu, and over there is Twilight." Ryka explained, pointing to each one. "You've already met Vulpix, and this," She said, patting Aurora on the head, "is Aurora, my first friend." She smiled at Dante.
Vulpix seemed to smile at Apollo. She then ran a distance, wanting Apollo to chase her.

Mag knew things wouldn't be good if Tsunami couldn't see. At least the embers were making patches of light in the smog. He also knew that the Smog would start getting to Tsu if he didn't do something quick to help.
"Okay. Tsunami use Tail Whip while running and try to get out of the smoke!" Tsunami did as she was told. She ran swiftly while wagging her tail constantly. The smoke was somewhat cleared from around where she ran. The ember attacks that were coming out of the smoke grazed her every once in a while but she survived and was out of the smog mostly unharmed. "Fhew."

"Odor Sleuth, then Bite!" Mitsu said as Sapphire picked up the opponents scent. He charcged and bit Tsunami quickly releasing him and biting several times again. Mitsu hoped that Sapphire wouldn't push it too far, if he did she'd call the battle off.

"Oh snap." Mag surveyed his Vaporeon. It looked very beat up but it was still standing at the ready. "Okay Tsunami. I think it is time to call it quits seeing as we are a bit on the nearly decimated side. Thanks for the match Mitsu." Mag said. He quickly walked over to his pokemon and gave it a hug. "Nice job Tsunami. Oh and thanks for fighting Sapphire."

"I think I may have pushed that one a bit too far." Mitsu said as she walked over to the Vapoeron. Sapphire walked over and licked the Vaporeon's cheek as an apology.
"Are you going to train Ryka?"

Ryka smiled at her new friends. "Sure! Vixen, are you ready?" Ryka awaited a response, but none came. "Oh, yeah, Vulpix! Sorry.." Ryka muttered. "Do you like the name Vixen, Vulpix?"
'I really don't care at the moment. I'm playing a game!' She replied with a whine. Ryka motioned for her to come over. She sadly slumped over to her trainer.
"So, is anyone not hurt at the moment?" Ryka asked.

Dante bent down and put his hand out for the pokemon to sniff before he even tried to pet them. "Wow, these are all great pokemon." He said with a smile.
Apollo whinnied and chased after Vulpix happily easily catching up to the fire fox.

Keegan pushed his way through the grass, once again stumbling into a clear area. The grass looked as though it had been cleared away by some sort of human means, as it was even and cut very short.
"Welcome to the Mimic Circle!" a voice boomed over him.
"What?" Keegan looked around, trying to find the source of the sound.
"Up here!"
Keegan turned his gaze upward, and saw a boy wearing a straw hat and no shoes standing on the branch of a nearby tree, clearly visable and illuminated by the moonlight. He held a piece of paper, rolled up into a cone shape, and was using it as a megaphone.
"Uh, hi?" Keegan asked, not sure of what to do. The boy jumped down from his perch, and disappeared into the grass below. Rustling sounds could be heard, and soon the boy appeared before him.
"Hey. You're in the Mimic Circle now," he said.
"Yes, you said that. What do you want with me?"
The boy laughed. "A battle, of course."
"Alright." Keegan glanced around, noting the darkness and how he could use the terrain to his advantage. "I'm ready when you are."

Kasiya arched an eyebrow towards her father, then stepped down from her post.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I can continue to call this match. I'm exhausted," she said, her cheeks flushing a little. She'd come back home to rest up for a few days, and her Pokemon as well, expecially after the battle with Seth just yesterday. Kasiya could see Shocker hit the ground from Aero's attack every time she closed her eyes, and it sent shivers down her spine. "I think I'm just going to go home and rest up. I'll see you guys later," she said, and ran outside, the big brass doors of the gym clanging loudly.
"Kassie...?" Surge asked, recalling his Manectric.
Kasiya hopped on her bike and pedaled as fast as she could to get home. She quickly locked her bike up and went inside her house, thankful for the familiar surroundings. She fixed herself and her Pokemon a quick dinner, and barely had time to eat it before she collapsed on the couch, asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

"Great." The boy grinned. "I'm Matt the Bug Catcher. Prepare to lose!"
"Bug Catcher?" Keegan blinked. "Whatever floats your boat. Bring it on!"
He could feel that familiar fiery feeling billowing up inside his chest as his opponent tossed out a Pokeball. A small, red, worm-like Pokemon appeared before him, and Keegan had seen enough of these around to know it was a Wurmple.
"Heh. Piece of cake." Keegan tossed a Pokeball, and Vulpix materialized in front of him, his six tails flicking back and forth. "Give it your Heat Wave!" Keegan said, and Vulpix jumped forward, inhaling deeply and then spewing a blistering wave of air over the startled Wurmple. It hardly had time to fire off a Poison Sting before it was engulfed and collapsed.
The boy stared. "Oh no!"
"Is that it?" Keegan laughed, his hands on his hips. The boy growled, and swapped Pokemon.
"I've only just started!" he practically screamed.

Jaeshan didn't rest long, and soon he found Vermillion City in his sights. It was dark as he arrived, and he quickly sought out the Pokemon Center so he could rest. His legs and back ached from the walk, and he suddenly wished he had a bicycle.
"Maybe I can find one tomorrow..?" he said, taking up a spare couch and crashing. "Man am I tired. What a day!"
He soon dozed off, dreaming of watery beauties and tough gym battles.

Kasiya awoke early the next day. Her neck felt a little stiff, but she soon realized it was because she was on the floor. It seemed Growly, her massive Arcanine, had shoved her off the couch and took her place. Seto, the Persian, had cuddled up to her, keeping her warm in the night.
"I've really gotta get you another name, Growly," she said, ruffling the Pokemon's fur. "Maybe something like Hercules or Couch-stealer."
She meandered to the kitchen, trying to get the crick out of her neck, and also pondering names in her head. Growly's name was fine for a Growlithe, but as an Arcanine, she figured it deserved something that commanded more respect.
She made breakfast, and then groomed each of her Pokemon, with the exception of Fang. The green Golbat was nowhere to be found, but Kasiya soon discovered him hiding once more within her closet, hanging upside down.
She also resolved to give Flash to her father today to take care of. She wasn't comfortable with the Pokemon in her party as of yet.
