((yay! go imaganation! go!))
Lex hurled herslef at the thing, not seeing what it was yet. She knocked it off course and sent it into a tree. The thing was a serpent, gliding only on air. It had huge fangs and two black eyes. On the end of its tail were spikes, sharp and dangerous looking. Lex had never seen anything like it before and she just stood there, mouth agape. The gaint snake flew at her, digging a fand into her back. She roared in pain and fell to the ground, the wind knock out of her for a moment.
((wow, dorry guys, thats REALLY bad...I guess I can't think of anything either....))

The snake struggled for a few minutes, its fang imbedded in Lex, then it broke off and splashed into the river, swimming away at top speed, hissing. It was shrieking, "...patrol river, intruder in cliffs!"
Shaydra stared after it. "What in the name of Vorex was that? I've never seen the likes of it."

Shaydra blinked. "It said 'Patrol the river, intruders in cliffs'. What was..." Then she remembered something and gasped. "That thing was there right before my clan was captured! I think it is in the control of the overlord. Lex is right, we need to get out!"

"Come Luxran, we need to get out of here." Lex morphed back into a human and quickly dipped her hands into the river, bringing some water up to her shoulder. She winced in pain, but kept going. After she had washed it out, she changed back into a tiger. "Come on..."

Shaydra leapt into a crevice in the side of the canyon. "Come on!" she said. "There's a way out from here."

Shaydra poked her head out. "You'll hold what back? There's nothing here yet, and we don't want to change that."

Lex nodded and followed Shaydra, snickering at Luxran. Even if she was hurt, her pensonality hadn't changed.

"No, you need to come with us." Lex walked up to him and put her hand on his shoulder, giudeing him away from the cave entrance. She morphed into a horse to walk easier on her shoulder.
