Having traveled for a few days now without sign of other beings, Avoron was now thoroughly sunburnt, tired, and hungry. His Hearrte was calling, and he was hopelessly lost. This was certainly not how he planned to start his first adventure.
He sat under the broken disc he now carried everywhere, relishing the shade and the cooked meat of some animal he had slain for food. He peered out between the rails, keeping watch for anyone or anything that cared to show itself. He sighed, finished his meal, and picked the disc up again, preparing to set off for civilization again. By his last reckoning, the city he was planning to head to was in the west. But he couldn't tell any longer. Perhaps he would come across another adventurer who could share, but for now, he was on his own.

Kallori pulled her hat further down on her head. She didn't want him to see her as she snuck into the pub. When she was safely inside, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"KALLORI!!! You are late, you useless girl." roared the manager, Hall. "Gomen, gomen." she muttered, tying an apron around her waist and picking up a glass, covered in suds. Yep, just another day at work. Nothing exciting going on, nobody new to meet. How boring.

Janika nodded enthusiasticly with a "Yeah! No way am I goning to be alone again! In fact, I'm lost." Janika laughed. What was she saying? She was always lost. Even way before she met Tekira.

((Hey Faey, here's a description of Newgate/the Donnol Islands. Feel free to cut it up and edit it if you want to post it.
Donnol Islands: a cluster of floating Calandreai that operate under a common government, ruled by a Chancellor who, for the most part, runs the government; however, it is not a monarchy, and there is a Council below the Chancellor which has equal power. The Donnol Islands are very old, and though they now speak Common Tongue, there is also a Donnol Old Tongue (It is equivalent to Latin, though I don't, personally, actually speak it).
Known Donnol Islands:
Newgate (In the real world, this is an old prison in London which is no longer open.)
Massilia (In the real world, this is Latin for 'Marseilles').

Aer leaned back. "Massilia. It's one of the Calanda. Part of the Donnol Islands, northwest of where I grew up, on Newgate Island. Well, my Hearrte may not actually be inside Massilia, but I think it is somewhere around that area."
