What makes God think that I have enough information to tell me where I want to spend an eternity after death?
That's a good point. I know I felt that way when my folks first took me to church.
And how did you reconcile it?
I quested for who I was, and I found it in God, in Adonai, in Jehovah. I asked God my questions, and not the church. I asked other gods my questions and not their people. The questions that I did not have answered, I set aside. I knew enough about what choices I had, and I based my faith on that knowledge, not on the questions that remained unanswered. I saught my own answers instead of asking someone to do it for me. And so, I came to the point I am now.

Those aren't religions then. A religion is a group of people that believe in a God. What you are talking about is a faith. That's more broad, and includes a shared belief in something by a group of believers.
Well now, religion itself can be very materialistic and not at all spiritual. "Faith" is a purely spiritual word. Satanism is a religion. It literally has nothing to do with spirituality or God. There is no faith required. Deism is a religion. It is based more on science than anything else. *shrugs* I'm not here to split hairs. (but I think that's what I did)
