Dracula sighed, sensing her earnestness. He sat on the floor and folded in his wings. "Linder, was the Fire Sidhe before Blaze was and he was my best friend. Growing up, Lander showed so much promise with his abilities that he became a soldier in the Fire Army at a very early age. We were always competeing when we were kids but Linder's talent far exceeded my own and I lost every fight. As we grew older I thought Linder matured, and in a way it was true...but...Lander always put so much faith in his abilities, that sometimes he thought he was immortal. Now it's true that fae live incredibly long lives but even we are capable of dying. Many years ago, when Blaze was only 200, which in Fae years is very young, there was a war between the humans and the Fae. It got out of hand. Linder came to me and said he was going to this world to stop the war. Despite me practically begging him, he went anyway....He...felt he could stop it on his own. That spell Blaze used the other day that killed all those people. It is one of the highest spells ever passed to the Sidhe. Spells like that are only given to the council so that they are not misused...But these spells....have terrible reprocusions. If you mischant one word, or if you do not have the full power to control and summon the spell...it turns inward and destroys the body of its summoner. That...that is how Linder died. A survivor of the war came to me with that news. He told me Linder tried to use that spell....and it completely destroyed him. But Blaze....he succeeded where Linder had failed, even if it might have been for teh wrong reasons. But I see much of Linder in Blaze: His utmost faith in his powers, his passion and drive...But Blaze has yet to fix the mistakes he's made....and he's made so many....Just as Linder did. They're both naive, and I pray that Blaze will understand the path he's walking if he continues..." As Dracula spoke his voice trembled, as he tried to hold down the emotions of the painfull memories. Dracula himself was normally so calm and passive, but the pain was noticable underneath the surface. "Please don't think too badly of him...Of either of them..."
Blaze stood outside, just out of sight, with his back against the wall as he listened. Hearing the story...being told like this...Blaze closed his eyes and hung his head in shame before he got off the wall and walked silently down the stairs to the streets below to wait for them.

Jenny didn't say anything. SHe knew that after something like this, only one thing could work to make things a little better. She stood up and hugged Dracula.
Jason rolled his eyes. Jenny was such a touchy feely person. Sometimes it drove him crazy. He was more of the 'speak kindly' type of person. He walked downstaires to see Blaze standing there all quietly and sad looking. Alomost in a defeated position. Kinda pathetic. "Dude... If you want people to still take you seriously, don't act all emo. If you act like you've been humbled, but your still okay, peploe will probably treat you like they did before. Actually, they might treat you better."

Dracula smiled. "That's kind of you Jenny. Don't mention this to Blaze okay? I...don't want him to have to know." He then stood and reshouldered his pack as his wings vanished. "All right then. Let's get moving."
Blaze looked up at Jason through his now permanently blonde bangs. "You don't understand." He said. "I lost my powers....They were my meaning...." He sighed and covered his face with his hand. "God dammit....Dracula was so right about me....How can I....How can I be humble knowing this? I...I always hated my father for what he did....and I'm the same damn way! I'm the same person he is...if not worse...My father got the easy way out! He died! But I'm still here! I have to hear this...I have to feel this....and I can't do a damn thing about it! Please do not preach to me...becuase you do not have to go through this..." He laughed, and it sounded utterly defeated. He hated it. "Right now...even you have more power than I do, but youhave known nothing of the Fae until very recently since I'm sure Lilia gave you her knowledge. What could you possibly understand about me?" With that, Blaze turned his back to Jason, knowing it was a rude gesture, hoping the conversation was over.

Jason shrugged as Blaze turned his back. The guy would have to learn on his own what to do, or else he would just fall. And maybe he really didn't know what to do. After all, he wasn't immortal. He sighed and called upstaires to Jenny. "Hurry up!"
Lillia walked downstaires calmly, already scrying for a new place to go to. "I;m gald to see that we're all assembled. And please, don't shout, Jason. Its unseemly."

Dracula followed her out to the street below and merely smiled at Lilia's comment. He then walked over to Blaze, who immedietly walked away from him. Dracula sighed. "I suppose we need to find a place with a cmputer to look up the author of that book." He said.
Demeter sat up and rubbed her eyes sleepily. Then remembering what happened she jumped to her feet. She had to do something! Find out what Osiris was planning...She let herself dissappear into the Earth and began searching for him.

"I still don't see why we can't juuuu--AAAAAAAA!!!" Jason's grumbles turnd to a shocked yell as Lilia's just-uttered transportation spell kicked in.
Jenny's stoumach lurched as she grabbed on to the closest thing- Dracula- and held on for dear life. She whimpered soflty as they flew through... something, Jenny had no idea what.
Osiris yawned as leaned back in a chair on a cruise ship. He couldn't use his powers, of course, but cruise ships were quite relaxing.

Dracula placed a strong arm around Jenny's shoulders to comfort her, and grabbed Blaze's wrist with his other hand.
Blaze's eyes widened alittle. Without his powers teleporting felt so...different. He felt almost claustrophobic.
Demeter reappeared in the council room and looked around. No sign of him...just like the rest of the place. "This is just great..." She sighed and sank into her throne. The council hall felt so empty now that she was alone... "To think...he had been....right..." She muttered.

Lilia thought just a moment too late that perhaps she should have warned the twins about Traveling. 'Oh,well.' She shrugged it off, and decided to worry about it when they got there.
Osiris waws stadning on the very top of the ship, looking a the sky... and crying. The wind was calling to him, whispereing to him, filled his soul with longning to simply jump into the firmament and let the wind take him wherever it so desired. But he bit it back, waiting until he saw the island in the distance that he knew would be there soon.

Demeter sighed and dropped her head onto the stone table before her. Her head made a solid "thud" against the polished marble. What was she going to do? Blaze, Lilia, AND Dracula were all searching for Erinshin...Osiris was nowhere to be found, but now Demeter was beginning to beleive he was in the above world as well, and what was she doing? Sitting on her throne like a good little Goddess, trying to figure out how to run the Fae by herself. Damn she was in a tight spot. Suddenly the doors to the council room opened and Demeter jumped, thinking it was Osiris. "Sorry milady," Grunted Iryan, the captain of Blaze's fire army, "I was lookin' fer the General...What happened to your head Milady?" The demons eyes stared at Demeter's forehead, which now had a red spot right in the center. "It's nothing," Demeter waved the question away. "Blaze isn't here." Strange as it was, all the people of fire called Blaze "General" rather than "Sidhe", even though he was pulled from the army and placed on the Council quite some time ago. Demeter couldn't understand why they adressed him so, but she had a feeling it wasn't out of spite...but out of respect. Blaze had been very popular among the soldiers and, Demeter thought with a smile, the dancers. She wondered why all of this was coming to her now. "Oh..." Iryan lowered his eyes. "I was hopin' ter ask him a question. Demeter raised her eyebrows. "Go on. Let me see if I can help." She said. "No offense, Milady...but I don't think you could." He said. "Hmm?" Demeter was curious now. "Earth and Fire...well ther differnt...so I don' think you could really help..." "Try me." Iryan shrugged. "Okay. Well, we were havin' a problem out on the trainin' grounds. Since Dracula's decree, we hav'ter share with the Dark Army. Some of us ain't likin' that. They're threatenin' to start a minor war if the Dark Army don't leave....But the Dark army said they're stayin'. You prolly know that fire people have "short fuses" so ter say....But I don't wanna see another fae war. So I came ter get Blaze. He allways has the answer ter these kinds of things..." He said. Demeter blinked. "Blaze? Answers?" She echoed dumbly. "Yea'." Iryan replied, slightly confused. Demeter shook her head. "Have a seat for a second, Iryan." She said, pointing to the Fire throne beside her chair. "Oh no milady!" Iryan jumped. "I couldn't-" "It's all right. Trust me, no one's going to get mad." Demeter said. Iryan walked slowly, then placed himself in the chair. "Can I ask you something?" She asked. "Of course Milady." Iryan said quickly, wanting to be of any help that he could. "It's about Blaze...How would you say he's treating you? Does he rule fairly? Justly? Has there been any time that the Fire people were angry with him?" Demeter asked. Iryan looked shocked, which shocked Demeter. His expression seemed to ask if she was truly being serious. "I have never, ever, had any thin' bad ter say about the General." Iryan said. "Why, just about every day, he'd walk through the markets an' buy foods, an' socialize with the rest of us, like he was a normal person ya'know. He'd stand an' gossip with the women, then move along an' chat with the men, sometimes he even plays games wi' the children. There was never a problem Blaze couldn't solve...I think that's 'cuase of his military background...but he was allways thinkin' of his people...Blaze, we...we know he ain't got much a taste fer humans, but he loves his people. Every decision he's made has been to better the Fae...And I'm sure, absolutely sure, that every single fire fae feels the same about him. He's the best we've had since Lindir died, if not better." The way he spoke was filled with passion and loyalty to Blaze. Demeter was truly moved. Stupid...We've been so stupid! Everyone only focused on Blaze's poor qualities ever since Queen Mab's death. Some were so sure he was the killer...and yet...his people know the truth. They know the real Blaze. The Blaze that fails to ever enter these walls. How could it be that we missed it? Blaze isn't....he's not the villian here! I....Oh my god! That feeling I got yesterday! What if it-!? demeter stood up abruptly and iryan jumped again. "Iryan, tell you're people to wait just a little while longer. I'll do my best to sort it out until the others get back. But right now, I have to send a message." "Uh...yea...sure Milady..." iryan called as demeter swept from the room and headed to the animal keep.

Jason was severly disoriented. Not because he ws confused (though you wouldn't hear him deny it), not because he was sick (though he was certainly feeling queezy), and not because he had just felt like someone had reached down his mouth, grabbed a fisfull of guts, and then turned him inside out, and then outside in (although that HAD to have contributed and it didn't help him in the least). It was because one second they were in a dull, gray, concrete city, and the next it looked like they had landed on Bali. "...Where the hell are we?"

"Uh..." Blaze muttered, but he was stumped. He had never been to this place before. Of course, this was his first time in the human world. "Lilia?" He turned to her.
Demeter's hand wrote incredibly fast, but it seemed like she wasn't writing fast enough. Her thoughts were racing as she recounted the talk Iryan told her and her own thoughts about what was going on, and also about the surge of power she felt not only coming from Blaze (before she lost his power flow completely) but from another source as well that was also in the Above Worl. She finished the letter to Lilia and Dracula saying how she would try to keep things under control and for them to use great care. We were all wrong...about a lot of things. She wrote, But I worry that it may be too late to make them right. She then signed the letter and retrieved one of the hell hounds from the cages. Hell hounds were usually used to deliver Fire Fae messages, but they were also the fastest messangers that could even run across water and long distances with growing tired. "To Lilia, Dracula, and Blaze." She said, and placed letter in the hell hound's messanger holster. The black dog nodded its head and Demeter teleported it to the Above world where, as soon as its feet touched the ground, it took off at rocket speed.

Lilia looked at Blaze. "Hmm?" she asked in a disinterested way.
"You are such a brat!" yelled Jason at Jenny for... well... they weren't quite sure why he was yelling at her, but apparently it was a big deal. He ran down the beach some and picked up a shell and threw at her. He missed.
"Attemted murder! ATTEMPTED MURDER!" Jenny picked up a coconut and hurled it with all her strength at Jason. It landed a little so the side of him.
"What are you two bickering aobut now?!" Lilia demanded angrily. She strode over to where the two of them were arguing... And then the sand opened up under her feet and she dissapeared.
At this moment, (the real) Jason came stroling up to Dracula. "Bad news. Theres no cabana nearby."

Dracula's face suddenly froze, and in an instant he unfurled his wings, and pushed Blaze over to the real Jason. "Hey!" Blaze snapped then he realised. Dracula lifted off the ground and darted for the Jason impersonator, black magic surrounding his hands.
