Feng's eyes lit up, "Really? Can you really come and look with us? No one else can but Celebor, but he can't stay down for very long."
Which was true, unlike other little boys and girls the twins couldn't really show people their true room.
Ryu looked thoughtful, "I don't mind, it's not like it's messy or anything."
Though it was hard pressed to be messy.
Kara in the meant time was unpacking and setting everything in order in a room that was being set aside for Lin. Even though she didn't know yet that the little girl preferred. Still it was another child to dote on.

He couldn't remember the last time he stayed at the an inn. Though nothing like this, it was like it was modern and old fashion at the same time. Though more old fashion than modern in it's own way.

When they reached the top floor, Elnara started them down the hall that led to Kara and Donovan's room. She has no idea if Kara would be there, but it seemed a reasonable enough assumption ... wherever Kara was, Elnara knew she would be doing something with Lin. Perhaps preparing another room? After all, if memory served, the three new Seconds would be coming out of their vases soon, the reaction stage didn't last very long.
Except with Skye ... but Skye was a different case altogether.
"I can't wait for Storm and Starr to be born," she sighed with a smile.

Serenity grinned and nodded. "I'm sure I could," she smiled at Feng. "And I'm sure Celebor will be able to visit you down there longer someday ... he just needs to work on his spell, isn't that right?"
She brought her knees up so that she was sitting completely on the edge of the fountain, rather than having her feet on the floor. She wondered what form she should take to go into the fountain: it would obviously be most enjoyable for her if she took the same form as Feng, a mermaid; but she wasn't sure if there would be room for three. She could go in as a fish, but then she wouldn't be able to talk, or enjoy it as much.
But what else was there? She was personally leaning more towards mermaid ...

Donovan carefully took stock of everything, there would be the usual need for bedding, clothes, desk, writing things and toys or things to keep the child occupied.
He was leaning against the doorframe of the room scribbling on his clipboard.

Feng nodded happily, "Yup, yup, he just needs more practice like the rest of us. Just like Yue and Yukito," she cited them because of course they were the adults and already knew about magic a great deal.
"So... are you ready?"
Kara smiled up at Donovan carefully puttin the vase on the bed, the bed had been shoved into a corner so that she could lean the vase into the corner so it wouldn't fall. That way when she came out, she would fall on a soft bed instead of the floor.

Serenity nodded uncertainly and braced herself on the edge of the fountain.
"Lead the way," she smiled, nodding at Feng.

Elnara didn't see either Donovan or Kara in their bedroom, so she went on down the hall towards the area where there were (believe it or not) still a few empty rooms on the top floor.
"Kara?" she called out as she approached the first of the empty rooms.

Feng splashed into the fountain followed by Ryu as they both dove deep into the water where the light only shone down as if peering through a window. Their fishy pets swam up to greet them, nudging their masters like they were kittens wanting to be petted.
"In here!" Kara called out as she finished arranging the vase.

Lore looked ahead and peered into the empty rooms, he couldn't imagine so much room, but it made sense all the same he supposed. He wondered what would happen if they ran out of room on the first floor.

Serenity dove into the water, changing form a split second before breaking the surface, the lower half of her body changing to the scales of a fish: black, but shining different colours (greens, blues and purples mostly) when the light hit them just right.
She followed Feng and Ryu, happy to find that she was able to breathe quite comfortably down here. She laughed as she watched the fish that came to greet the twins. Never before had she seen fish act like that.
And Feng had been right: it wasn't cold down here at all.

Elnara smiled and nodded to herself satisfactorily, leading Lore into the room where Kara's voice had come from.
She smiled as she looked around. "Getting ready already, I see. I should do the same ... but which room will they be getting?" She looked at Kara sharply. "I'd prefer to have them close to me ..."

"Well if you and the kids don't mind moving, you can take rooms up in the third floor so you can all stay together. At the moment the rooming problem is we can't keep the youngest closest to the master bedroom," Donovan muttered as he flipped a few pages to check the inn layout, "Kara you really need to ask if anyone is willing to move rooms."

"I know.. I know..." Kara sighed as she got up and turned to face Elnara sheepishly, "I didn't think there would come a day where we would end up taking up more than one floor," she sighed but in a content manner.
"Ooo... pretty tail," Feng murmured swimming backwards so she could see Serenity.
The little angel fish gave off bubbles like it was purring, the fish certainly weren't normal.
Ryu tried to keep the demon fish from nipping his fingers as he glared at the thing to behave.

Elnara thought about it for a moment, then nodded. "I think it might be best," she agreed sheepishly. "I would really like to keep the youngest near me, and the top floor is getting awfully crowded ... and to be honest I can't see either Kara or myself stopping adopting any time soon." She laughed.
Then she winked at Kara. "Besides, you were taking up more than one floor long before I ever came along - Yuki and Yue and their mates have been on the third floor for as long as I've known any of you."
