Angelic Celestia FrozenPhoenix32 Angelic Celestia I thought Boba Fett as a clone took the clone thing a bit too far. And, as much as I normally respect R.A. Salvatore, the killing off Chewie thing does not sit right with me. ;_; It wasn't Salvatores fault. Fact being, he didnt want Chewie to die. the NJO Council and LucasBooks decided to reallly show the threat of the Vong, they would have to kill a main character, either Lando or Chewie, The vote came down, and they chose chewie. Salvatore didn't want Chewie to die, same with Troy Denning and Anakin. Are Lucas Books just plain bloodthirsty? stare No, they just wanted to show how deadly the Vong really are.

If they wanted to do that, then how come they didn't kill Jar Jar? It would have made fans much happier...
Then have them kill someone like Boba Fett or something...

Jar Jar hasnt been mentioned since before the Battle of Geonosis and Boba Fett is a well liked character thats allready escaped death.

thats pretty much the point of Vector Prime, Han's realizing that he and his "circle" can't run from death any longer.

Yoda's species is unkown to fans, and probably iwll be because George Lucas is an a*****e.
Many fans theorize they are called "whills" since early drafts of SW involved the "whills"

the point is that nobody knows teh life expectancy of yoda's race. Maybe the force has influence over age, though I'm not too keen on many things...

Seeing the horrible husk of a once cool character Fett has become after the whole 'clone' thing, I'm not so sure I'd miss him. Heck, who's to say now that his place wasn't just taken by another clone? Kind of like the guy I can't spell the name of from Zahn's trilogy. Jor... Yeah, I can't spell it. JC, we'll call him. He was a clone, and didn't even know it.
