Kaleb paused and then nodded. He quickly moved to get up so Riley could get up, and ended up getting a little dizzy and falling right off the couch with a thump and a squeak.

He groaned as he rolled over and looked over the side of the couch. "Umm ... ya alright?" He figured that if Kaleb was still woozy from the booze that he'd be fine.

Kaleb nodded again and sat up. The floor wasn't as comfortable as the couch had been, but somehow he either had to get back onto the couch, or up to the bed so he could sleep properly. The will to attempt either option was escaping him for the moment.

Shifting he got up and wrapped an arm around Kaleb's waist. "I'll balance ya so ya don't fall ova"

Kaleb smiled and leaned heavily against Riley. It would probably take more than just balancing to get him to bed now that he had slept for a bit. "Thanks," he said, wagging his tail until he realized the movement threw him off balance even worse.

"Ya know ... yer gonna fall over." he laughed as he reached down to pick Kaleb up. It was so much easier this way.

Kaleb squeaked again as he was scooped up and wiggled weakly in an attempt to get down. "Riley, I don't... I don't feel very good upside down like this."

He shifted Kaleb slightly so that his partner would be able to rest his elbows on his shoulder. "Better?"

"Yeah," Kaleb muttered. He didn't feel nearly as ill with his head up and the pressure off his stomach, but he still didn't like being picked up at that moment. "I could have gotten there without being carried."

"Maybe, but that's not the- my pyjamas are here!" he exclaimed happily, cutting himself off in mid sentence. He had completely forgotten about bringing them over until he noticed them on the bed where he had set them earlier.

"Yea .. ya brought them?" How could Kaleb have forgotten them? I mean they weren't exactally normal or anything. Maybe it was the alcohol or something.

"I know, I just forgot for a minute." Kaleb chirped, grabbing the pyjamas from the foot of the bed. "Can you turn around while I get changed?" He wasn't nearly as concerned about his partner's presence as he was when sober, so he would be fine even if Riley didn't bother to leave the room.

He turned around and headed for his dresser. he could find his own pj's while Kaleb changed. "yea yea.." It was still stupid that the mage was so picky about that. It wasn't like he'd not seen it before.

Kaleb watched Riley as he wandered off, and only began undressing once he was convinced his partner wasn't going to turn around. He didn't think Riley would, but he had to be sure.
