Yuki mumbled something into his pillow. Even he didn't know what he said. He drifted off to sleep.

Drakul didn't go to sleep right away, he just lay there, looking at Yuki.
He wondered if he was really asleep, and if Alex was okay or not now.
In a few minutes after closing his eyes, he finally fell asleep, dreaming of his friends, of course.

Yuki tossed and turned in his sleep. "No... Please... Stop..."
He dreamed of all the horrible things his parents used to do to him. He sat straight up. He was drenched in sweat.

Drakul woke after hearing Yuki crying out.
He looked down at him, sitting up, all sweaty.
"Yuki..
You okay?" He sat up on the bed, biting his leg in concern for Yuki, wondering what had happened.

Yuki looked up at Drakul. "Yeah... Just a bad dream. Go back to sleep..."
He wiped the sweat off his brow.

"You sure, Yuki..?
You can tell me about it, if you want.."
Drakul tilted his head as he got up, standing by the side of his bed, facing Yuki.

"Don't worry about it..." Yuki curled up in a ball. "I don't want to talk about it!"
He was debating if he should go back to his own room, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to be left alone or not. He wanted to talk to Drakul, but he didn't trust him.

He laid back down on his bed, watching Yuki quietly, debating whether or not he should try and go back to sleep.

Alex slowly opened his eyes. He manged a few hours of sleep. And as far as he knew Yuki didn't try to leave anymore. He continued to lay in bed debating if he wanted to get up or not.

Yuki sighed. "I know you are watching me... Do you really want to know?"
He never told anyone about his fater and what his father did to him.

Maybe it'd make you feel better if you did?"
Drakul never had anyone to talk about about what happened to him when he was younger, so maybe he could at least help Yuki feel better.

Yuki didn't look at Drakul. "My father used to beat me. For stupid stuff. Like getting an A minus on a test. For not dressing how he wanted me to. Or even when he had a bad day at work... My whole life... I have so many scars because of him."
Yuki sighed. He figured that would make him feel better, but it didn't. It just opened old wounds.

Drakul jumped off the bed and hugged Yuki.
"Oh, wow..
My Dad used to beat me, too..
But not for the same reasons.
Once he found out I had turned into a vampire, he blamed me for everything bad that happened.
He kept me locked up in my room, and he'd beat me for every little thing.
That's why I ran away two years ago, to get away from it all."
Drakul sighed, not wanting to remember this anymore, just like Yuki didn't.
