Sad scenes, huh? Well, the obvious one would be when Aeris died. At the time when I first played that game, she was my favorite female character. Then, Sephiroth goes and skewers her with Masamune, and that brought a few tears to my eyes. Then, there was Final Fantasy VIII. It wasn't exactly sad, but when I got to the ending, I just cried. It wasn't just the song, but the fact that the game was over. It made me sad... The ending on Final Fantasy X did it, too. Tidus reminded me a lot of myself, and Yuna was my favorite female character. For the longest time, they had the kind of love I could only hope to have, then Tidus has to disappear, leaving Yuna behind for good... well, sort of...
What can I say? Final Fantasy made a sensitive man out of me... cry

i have a top three^-^ the aeris scene which is sad then theres the scene where Cloud gets lost in the lifestream and(and zach dieing to protect him buts that really only last order) and Tidus vanishing at the end of FFX

The Lenne/Shuyin love story is probably the thing that made me the saddest. It was just so tragic and beautiful that it's hard to not tear up whenever I play Final Fantasy X-2.
Aerith's death......I'd by lying if I said it made me sad. I was more pissed then anything the first time around because I spent a lot of time leveling her stupid a** up and then BOOM DEAD! All my hard work was for nothing. D:
I think Zack's death is sad though...and I've only seen clips from Crisis Core. He would of been such an awesome character (well he IS an awesome character) if he'd have lived. ;-;
