Ora glanced to Blitz, to Aly, to Cathy, and then to Katrina. "Stay close and together." She stepped forward carefuly, and when the words became legible she gave a wry smile. She glanced back to the others,"Apparently there is something we don't see. Walk like you are blind."

Ora glared at the back of Blitz's head, but made no comment, if anything he would make a good meat shield.

As Blitz stepped foreword, the walls began to rumble. Panels opened up on each side of him, and two wooden posts came flying out. ((Think classic booby-trap with the two thingies smashing together.))

The door was still there, secretly wondering why they had disregarded it so far, given as it was the only thing of interest in the entire hallway, aside, of course, from the booby-trap just set off.

There were no other booby traps, all that was left was the door, and through Blitz walking that last distance of the hallway, it was clear to him and everyone else that there were, for certain, and without a doubt, no more traps, and no reason to not open the damned door, which was also not trapped.

Blitz opened the door.

They opened the door, and found it to be much lighter than it at first appeared. The door opened up into a large room. It appeared to be a training facility for the troops. On the walls they could see massive chains, each link looking to be a car's worth of steel, with equally massive clamps at the ends. Each of these clamps was ripped open.
((For a more accurate painting, it's a large rectangle room. The door you just opened is on one of the ends, and the room is a good 200 yards long, 100 yards wide. Chains line the side walls, and at the far end is another door. Other than that, there are some implements and tools laid about, but none usable for combat or otherwise.))

At the far end of the room stood four monstrosities. Massively dwarfed by the beasts about him stood a tall man with straight brown hair, his back turned to the group. He made continued facing the far wall, making no notice of the supers behind him.

If they did get back to the elevator to inspect it, they would find that it, through some twist of an evil god's humor, was no longer working, could not be made to work, and they were prevented from accessing the elevator shaft.
