Dantar Crom came out of hyperspace with a slight whoosh from the engines of his borrowed Y-Wing. It had been a 3 day trip - Tatooine was pretty far from Coruscant, and so even hyperspace took awhile to get him there. He surveyed the planet for the first time in 10 years. The planet was alive with yellow lights and endless amounts of starship trafic entered in and out of it. Has it really been...10 years since I left? the smuggler thought. Many bad memories that he was reminded of at this moment had happened here. ...Well, I'm not 13 anymore. I'm 23, and I'll find them...wherever they are...but not now, I've got a job at the moment.

He entered into the atmosphere of the planet, and gazed across the endless sea of skyscrapers and the hundreds of thousands of cruisers and other ships flying through the city, weaving around the different buildings like little mice. He docked his ship, turned over his blaster (as was the law on Coruscant) and received a ticket for it, the guard telling him to turn it in once he was departing the planet to recieve his weapon back. Crom jumped onto a local transportation ship that brought him as close as he could get to the Jedi Temple, his destination. He checked in his pack for the Twi'Lek oil, and found it still in its sealed container.

He walked the few blocks across the glidewalks to the Jedi Temple. This too required a weapon's check for the citizen's entry, which he cleared quickly, and walked up the steps. Upon reaching the top, he looked around for the human that Gomma the Hutt, his employer, had mentioned.He still couldn't believe the amount he was getting for it - 2000 credits...man, this guy's definetly generous! He spied a lone robed human in the shadows of one of the statues and decided to approach him.

"Shaanan Ik?" Crom asked. The man looked up at him. "Yeah, what's it to you?" He asked suspiciously. I'm Dantar Crom, Crom for short - Gomma the Hutt sent me here to deliver this Twi'lek oil..." He handed the sealed pcontainer over to the hooded man, and he laughed. "Ahh, yes, haha, I did request these...and in return, here is the Krayt Dragon blood." Ik handed the smuggler a vial of a thick dark purple substance. Crom put this carefully in his inside pocket - visitors to Coruscant might find their wallets sufficiently lighter at the end of the day if they didn't watch for pickpockets.

Diamond was impressed by his opponent''s obvious skill with a lightsaber and knew she was going to do anything and everything to win this duel.

At that Kari ran at him and began an all out offensive assault with her lightsaber. Her blade was coming from all directions and Diamond knew if he didn''t do something he was done for.

At first he blocked her blows easily away but as this continued he began to tire and suddenly an idea came into his mind...not an idea he was proud of but he had to win and so decided to do it.

Kari''s saber was becoming more quicker and Diamond feared even more accurate with each of her swings. He could sense she was starting to tire also and knew his chance had come...

He began to focus and suddenly went back to one handed saber swings, which took Kari a back slightly but not enough for her to slow down her assault.

"You have been an excellent opponent Kari..."

As her next swing came down on him he blocked the blade and moved to the side of her, so they were now in a saber-lock side by side. The saber lock was all about power and he knew this but wasn''t intending to out power his opponent but infact the opposite.

Diamond began to use his own physical strength to add Kari in winning the saber lock, at first he began to battle her until he knew she was using all her physical strength in this encounter.

Suddenly he stopped fighting her and span out of the way as Kari''s lightsaber came back on her and slightly burned her shoulder. She let out a yelp of pain but she seemed more determined now as she looked at him but Diamond was already in the process of making his next move.

Before she could meet his eyes and regain her balance, he kicked Kari''s lightsaber out of her hands and summoning all his power to one point, used Force Push sending Kari into the boxes on the opposite side of the room.

Diamond proceeded to deactivate his lightsaber and ran over to Kari to check on her. On his journey over though he realised what he had done was wrong but also accepted that he had to win at all costs as in real combat things must be done to secure a victory.

Within a few seconds he was over at the fallen boxes and his fallen opponent. He fell to his knees beside Kari and picked up her body, in the process hugging her.

"I''m so sorry Kari, I''m so so sorry...."

"That there is," Glacian said to Kari's remark about a challenge. He walked into the dueling area and dug into his waist pack. he pulled out a basic training saber and twired it in his fingers to get a feel for the different hilt than his own one and then said. "Are you up for another duel Diamond?"

((The blades shock yes but leave weild marks that do burn on the flesh))

Diamond jumped to his feet and grabbed his training saber from his belt. He slowly turned round to his friend Glacian and smiled slightly.

"I would be honoured Glacian."

Diamond walked over to Glacian and smiled. He then followed by taking several steps back and activating his saber. Again the beam of blue energy shot out of teh end of his saber.

Like before he took the Form V stance and prepared for combat.

Kari stood agenst the wall still catching her breath, waiting for teh duel between Diamond and Glacian to begin. The memories of her duel was still coursing though her mind. Kari did much better then she had ever exspected for her first duel.

Kari looked up as Diamond and Glacian took up a stance, she relised she was going to have to learn more about them to hopfully learn one. However even without truly knowing a form she did well, and she could feel the force during the duel.

Maybe there is more to a lightsaber then fighting, Kari thought to herself.

She watched and waited for the duel to start.....

When Diamond's blows came, Glacian was ready and blocked them with little movement and never showing any openings. Even if these two were equal in skill, Glacian would have the upper hand because he would not tire as fast as Diamond would.

Glacian saw an opening and used the force to aid him as he pushed aside Diamond's saber in a block and the made a move to tap Diamond on the shoulder, though he did not take a full swing, he did not want to be caught off off guard if Diamond had a trick up his sleeve...

[[um, you really should give people a chance to responed to your attack, like i said that Glacian "made a move to tap your shoulder" insteasd of just saying it hit him]]

Glacian let out a small breath as he was nocked off balance and felt the sting of the training sbaer to his leg. He was surprised that Diamond was as skilled as he was in his respective style. Now he knew he had to try something a little more showy then he usually did.

Glacian took up his form III stnace again, looking as if he was a little more wary of the tricks Diamond knew. He blocked a few more attacks and then just as he was going to block another, he switched his stance to that of form II and ducked out of the way of the saber using th force to steady himself and used his own move of 5 quick strikes aimed to hit Diamond's thighs, shoulders, and one to the side of his chest. Glacian hoped his change of tactics at the last second was enough to throw Diamond off guard and confuse him long enough for the blows to hit home....
