Understood. He replied back to Mastema before directing his telepathy to 9. You are not to leave.
He reached for the door knob, opening the door before he gestured her to enter.

9 scoffed at hin as he opened the door. She looked down the starts at the floor below. She turned and jumped half way before taking off in a full run.

He quickly strided to the top of the stair as his chain flew from his jacket to tangle themselves in her legs.

She grunted, fell forwards as the chains caught her legs. She swear under her breath as she thought about killing everything in the building, even herself.
the black veins that had started to fade quickly came back.

He walks over to her and steps in front of her escape path before he kneels down to her to see if she was fine. His constant echolocation outlined the black veins and he wondered what they were.
Do forgive my rash action. He summoned his chain back into his jacket.

Feeling her words, he only nodded and walked in, finding it probably best to watch her from inside her room than outside.

*The room looks like a first class hotel room, well kept at that. There's one very small window and even a small balcony....but no doubt Mastema had many guards and traps ready*
