Silent Spy Kimi's pity churned into a viscious hatred. "I HATE YOU SGINA," screamed Kimi at her sister with a look of utter disgust and anger. "You rotten little brat. Go! Run off with this two-legger and get killed! Not for one instant will I ever regret this moment for I truly and sincerely do hate you." "Good we can finally agree on something Kimi!! The fact that we hate eachother!!!!My only pity is it took you and your idiot mother so long to figure out I dont belong with you. That Im not like you!!!Now go your mommy will be missing her little secret!!" Sgina growled as she lay down beside the odd man thinking the entire world was against her at this moment.

Yei released a small chuckle at Nagual's cry for berries and gave a nod. Yes, it was true, whether they found clues or not they could keep an eye out for some food as both of them needed something to eat and drink - the mountains held very little in the way of sustinance, especially near the desert so it was only a reasonable desire.
"Yes, berries...And perhaps some lush grass." She agreed as she proceeded away from the hoof prints by the battered arrow heads and began to make her way towards the putrid corn fields and the smell of marked territory - here the smell was overpowering but surely there would be prints of come sort around and...
"Since when did coyotes eat corn?" She enquired faintly as her eyes fixed on what appeared to be half devoured remains of some corn crops.

.[ paramekia ]. "Then I hope you don't mind treks." Cloud murmured softly, already making the decision that she would stay around Achak's teepee regardless of what the two-legger or Yei said, although, as of late Yei had been out at night...well, she was a social butterfly so he supposed she couldn't really help herself when she desired to go out in search of new friends or sights, regardless of the time.
"I think it would be best if you stayed a few nights at the teepee I reside by, it is colder and slightly less sheltered but is at a high point on the slopes - it has the vantage to be able to see on coming threads and any signs of danger." He explained and offered a small smile, "Your companion is welcome too." Tilting her head at the statement, "Oh? I don't want to be intruding..." Though inside, she knew she'd feel a lot more safe if she was by Cloud, but that just seemed odd. The mare continued to walk, her mind wandering on Cloud and Cait. She saw the lake through the trees and spotted the familiar teepee. Just a few more trees to pass.... But then...
From above, a long creature dropped in on top of the mare's head. Tifa was about to whip her head back and forth but then she noticed the familiar gleaming crown. "Oh dear. Cait Sith, you better not ever scare me like that ever again. You hear me?" Tifa shook her head and looked sheepishly at Cloud. "Cloud, this is Cait Sith. Cait, this is Cloud."
Cait Sith burst into chuckles as he fell on top of her. Oh it was too fun to joke around Tifa. "Sorry m'lass. I just couldn't help it. Pleashure to meetcha' Cloud."

"About time we agree on something," said Kimi coldly and bitterly. "Good bye Sgina. I don't want to see your sorry face ever again." Kimi turned around and walked off confidently away from her hated and evil sister.

"Berries!" Nagual smiled for the first time that day. The idea of them truly lifted her heart.
As they went passed the arrowheads, Nagual looked out of the corner of her eye to see that their sample was still tied in her mane where Yei had put it near one of her flowers. It was; if they needed it, it would be there.
Once they made their way to the corn field, and the smell assailed her nostrils, the mare went into another sneezing frenzy. "What, is it *choo* with this.... *CHOO*?"
She tried to take a deep breath to get rid of it, but failed. "Coyotes *choo*," Nagual started to say, "meat!" She got the word in before her body racked in sneezes. Maybe this wasn't so good of an idea.... but why now and not earlier? Was the sun changing the strength of it?
Soquili. Coyote. Two-legger. Blood. They all tickled her nose hairs.

Cloud was just about ready to squish the creature beneath his hooves but after the initial shock he became aware that the creature was harmless and raised a brow in response to his greeting. So this was the creature that the mare had been referring to, this little ferret? Why wasn't he surprised that a mare would be attracted to something so fuzzy and so...cute...?
"Likewise." He replied at last before glancing towards one of the forest openings with a slight snort, even walking through here at present was putting him on edge, "I think perhaps we should go to the edges of the clearing nearest the beach to feet and water before heading to the slopes - it is too cold up there at the moment."

"Good bye Kimi." Sgina whispered to low for Kimi to hear. Sgina sat there for a moment replaying the moments before only feeding her anger. This old man, he wasnt saying anything this only made her even more angry. She planned to come back to the old man but for now she needed someone to talk to be it a fight or just a talk she needed to take her mind off things. She walked through the battered villiage in search of someone to talk to. Sgina saw Tehya and Calmity and her curousity drew her towards them.

It was nice to know that despite the horrendous discovery, neither of them had lost their apetites and although Nagual had entered another sneezing fit Yei took the opportunity to sniff briefly at the arrow head and to approach the corn fields where the marked scent and the smell of coyote fur enveloped her senses to the point that she was nearly floored.
He must have slept in here, he stank of these corn fields but where were the prints, where was the blood?
"Do you think you can go further in?" Yei enquired gently as she watched the sneezing Nagual, "Or would you rather you waited out here?" She added.

Tifa chuckled and shook her head. She grabbed the little ferret by the scruff of his neck and placed him on her back. "Mm. Just ignore him and he'll be quiet eventually." The mare paused, "Sure. Lead the way." The mare kept up to stride with him, she was still wary for that certain thing...
Cait Sith began struggling as she placed him on her back. "Hey lassie, you almost made me lose my crown back there. You should be the one saying sorry." His words were rushed together and heavily marked by a scottish accent making it difficult to understand him.
"No talking for now, okay Cait?" She had a stern sound to her voice.
Pouting, he sat on her back and enjoyed the ride.

Calamity nodded at Tehya before walking towrds her. "What did this? Do you know?"
He looked around at the flurry of creatures, soquili and humans alike. "It seems as though there's equal concern over the state of things. I need to know everything you do. I must fidn out who is responsible."
He only momentarily mused on how he must have sounded just then...almost full of a righteous indignation...a thirst to see the perpetrators of the damage brought to justice. But no. The truth was, he had to find out the guilty party to know if there wwas some new and unknown dark creature threatening his kind's title as the scourge of these lands.

Rahu roamed about the battered villege not witha smirk that would have normal came across him face at this. snorting he flet uneasy about what caused this whole thing but he had no care about the two leggers. flicking his tail, his eyes came across Sgina who seemed to have her curousity drawn to Calmity and someone else. shruging he went about his roaming but kept an alert eye out.

Cloud gave a nod and calmly began to navigate his way back out of the forest, he even made careful note to avoid the immediate vicinity around the corn fields and instead, took the long way round (scaling the edge of hte forests) until he caught sight of the long meadow grasses in which he would be forced to wade through to reach the sandy dunes where he had both a good vantage point and sufficient food and water to satisfy both their needs.
"And I will find it easy to ignore him if he talks as much as Yei does." He replied, offering a wry smile as he gave a nod towards the long grasses a little distance away - at least at this distance you couldn't smell the devastation within the village.
"I hope you're hungry."

Nagual-an stood straight, holding her breath to avoid the sneezing. With quick words she released her breath, "I can do it!" and then, taking in another sneezed.
It was really getting old, she wished they would go away. Her eyes watering, the mare walked further in.

Tifa kept up with him, gazing at everything around her. She wasn't aware that she had hardly been anywhere before since all of this looked unfamiliar to her. It felt weird not to be at the teepee but it felt so right to be around Cloud. It was sometimes ironic how that worked out. She put those thoughts to the back of her mind and the realization that nobody was safe now finally hit her. "Just a tad hungry." She grinned half-heartedly as she continued to think.

Quiddie! Calamity nodded at Tehya before walking towrds her. "What did this? Do you know?"

The truth was, he had to find out the guilty party to know if there wwas some new and unknown dark creature threatening his kind's title as the scourge of these lands. Tehya smirked. "What's this, little Cal, being a do-gooder?" she asked. "Or is he worried?" her eyes gleamed for a moment before she settled down, flicking her tail. "Actually, I don't know much. Citlalli needed some things from the village yesterday, so I went with her. We stayed the night, slept soundly. I didn't hear a thing until the screaming started early this morning. I remember dreaming. Running so fast I was almost skimming the ground, listening to the screams of crows. That's all I can think of, I was dreaming and the screams melted together. That's weak." she was angry at herself for not hearing the cries of her kindred.
