Hi, my name is Jess. My favorite book is probably A Pirate's Love by Johanna Lindsey but I have read a lot of good books. My favorite author's are Johanna Lindsey, Jude Deveraux, Catherine Coulter, and Nora Roberts at the moment. My favorite books types/genres are romance novels and manga. I am open to all suggestions and read a lot that is recommend to me if I can get ahold of the book. I am currently reading Highland Rogue by Casey Stuart and The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. I really suggest reading Highland Rogue cause it is a great book. I create many stories in my head and have tried to write a few down but that came to naught.

i just realized I never posted on here, lol. I'm Sam, I'm almost 19, and I'm a history major at West Virginia University. I've been reading ever since i was 3 and 1/2 years old, and by the time I was six, I had read every book worth reading in the children's section of my local library. I couldn't pick a favorite book if I tried, since I read an average of a book every other day or so when I have them. I'm also a writer, and I'm working on a compilation of my short stories to send to publishers. My favorite genres are fantasy, scifi, and (you guessed it) historical fiction.

Hello, I am SilverBellsAbove (call me SBA, Silver, etc, if you so wish) and I'm new to the guild, I guess.

Favorite Author/book? Ummm... You'll have to get back to me on that one. Now I have to dig everything out of my bookshelf. gonk Brian Jaques is awesome, and I love the The Dark Is Rising series, too. I have a lot of favorites, I can't pick!

I've been a book lover since BEFORE I could read: When I was little my parents would read The Lord of The Rings to me instead of conventional bedtime stories... ah, the memories. xd

Then again, when they asked us to recite our favorite poem in kindergarten (The teacher meant from a kid's poem book) and I belted out the opening sequence to Shakespeare's Henry V, I think I was marked for all time as a bibliomaniac. But I'm not complaining! wink
