Elly was one of the ones that rolled his eyes.
Ellys ear twiched at the pinched and quickly flicked free from the feys grasp. "Oh? So you admitting to being a pirate when your at a royal port?" He gave a fly grin to match his ears. "That doesn't seem very bright." he swung around the riggign so he was hanging on the opposite side and cute the rope that was entangeled around Saryas wrist with a claw. "I can't be a pirate, Sarya doesn't have the legs for it at all and if i leave her behidn she'll cry. And-" He let himself to drop to all fours onto the wooden deck, standing at the feys feet. "I'm not a sprite. I'm a fox, obviously." He swished his tail behind him.
Hm..if they were Air pirates maybe his father wouldn't mind though...he only hated ships because they sailed the ocean. And it wasn't like they had a back up plan for if elly's grandmother couldn't send them home- which it now seemed she couldn't. Maybe being a pirate would pass the time till his father could come and get him..

"As if it weren't obvious what we are," the dark fey replied good-naturedly. "Cap'n need only put away the flag and henceforth no one can arrest us at the Arbor Harbor. Brilliant rule.. for us."
Sarya smiled happily, freed. Elly wouldn't leave her behind even for possible treasure and mischeif... heart The young crow-girl practically danced her way to stand behind Elly, hands clasped behind her back while her dress floated past a large, green moon.
To Elly's last remark, the big fey raised an eyebrow. "I see kindred blood in you, little fey. You're no simple fox... 'Tis rather odd to see your type these days, though. Only one other that I know of, a full-blood fox faerie."

"Mmmm?!" Ally rocked up onto his toes. "But my daddy told me the only true blooded fox fae died many ears go! He saw his death with his own two amber eyes!" Curious he scooted closer to the large fae. "Who is it?! I've always wanted to meet someone like me! Another fox fae, think sarya! and I bet he's near my age~ Or...maybe SHE'S near my age!"

...3. Sarya's happiness wilted and sunk in her stomach. Of course... Elly only played with her because humankind wouldn't. In Faerie, his other home, the creatures were just as strange or stranger than a fox-faerie, and once more she was the odd one out. Not crow, not human, not dreamlike, just plain useless. She couldn't open her mouth to reply, she just felt like crying.
The big faerie didn't notice the little girl's plight and turned back to his work. "He's only a smidgeon older, methinks. He goes by many names - none of 'em the truth, lad. Most of us here call him the Fourth Weird."

The wet in her eyes swelled and Sarya bit her lip stiffly. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry!
"The Three Weirds are magical sisters who collect all knowledge and secrets and sell them off at steep prices. He's much of the same - reels in knowledge for nothing and only gives it away for the most precious of gifts," the dark faerie clarified.
Don't cry, stupid!! Sarya told herself desperately, to no avail.
"WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!" the little crow-girl wailed, and ran off the boat and down the stairs of the giant tree.
The fey crew blinked after her. "What the bells?"

Elly blinked. "Eh? What crawled up her dress?!" Really, sarya was a weird girl, she'd cry at the drop of a hat for absoultly no reason sometimes! Elly sighed. "I better fetch her before she winds up lost." shaking his head he lept over the edge of the boat and followed after her down the stairs, the smell of salty tears leading the way.
And thus, Lahn was left alone.

Sarya didn't stop running until one of the knotted wooden steps tripped her and sent the little kid tumbling down the stairs ungracefully. Dizzily, she sat up and realized she'd run and fallen all the way to the bottom of the enormous tree. One giant tree root lifted up from the ground nearby; from inside, gay fairy lights drifted in and out as if the tree was breathing. Music and sweet smells caressed the breathy wind, inviting all to enter freely.
A few scrapes were present on her knees, and her hip and arms were growing bruises, but thankfully the dress remained perfect and pretty as before Sarya's spill. She stood and wiped her face, forgetting completely why she'd been running and only that she had wanted to go away. Green and yellow wisps danced about her and the tree gasped, drawing the little girl forward.

Lirit and Aust are *ahem* finished now. Lirit should follow after the kids; Captain Aust has to stay with the ship at all times.

Well... supposedly. Life hasn't ever been that cruel to 'im yet, so who knows? o.o He is an elf. And elves tend to be not stupid. Most of them. And in my opinion... staying on a fcking sinking ship is REALLY, REALLY STUPID! Bah humbug to heroics. It's just cliche now. stare

You just want to keep Aust alive because hes a smexy pirate elf. That and lirit would drag his sorry butt off the boat and fly him to safety. He can always buy/steal a new boat.
