RinoaHeartilly Fiori-Homocidal-Maniac scream this always happens.....once i start to post, no one else posts. They all hate me eek im over it 3nodding someone post....please sad that always happens to me. I get responses like later that day though, or sometimes the the day after I posted. i guess that happens to everyone.. confused oh well. Im only in one jazz band....origanally i wanted to play the tenor sax, a year ago in 7th grade...but i love my flute!!! arrow type this if you love your flute: F.WA.P. (Flutes with atomic power!) YEAH!! whee i would fail miserably at the trumpet.

I think it's time for me to get a new flute.
I've been working with an Estee for about three years, and I'm not sure which brand I should get. One that would suit my abilities and makes a heavenly sound. xP
Any suggestions?

I was too busy staring at him to really MIND that he was correcting me ^^;; XDDD). I've heard flute players make the best brass players, though. Not sure whether or not that's true, but I DID pick up trumpet rather fast when my brother had one. [FYI... this is RinoaHeartilly... for some reason tho everytime I try to come to this specific guild it gives me a totally bazaar error and so I guess I'll have to use this account for now whee ] Anyways... Yeah, I'll prob end up making mistakes with the fingerings too. haha... theres a tenor in my varsity band that i stare at all the time XD i was so glad to know that he was in varsity and not symphonic xd is that cruel? whee My bro plays the trumpet as well! I picked it up one day and started to play it, it seemed pretty easy. I was joking around saying that maybe if i played the trumpet the BD will go easier on me cuz' the trumpet is his fav instrument and he's always givin em like 5 min warmups, just the trumpets. xd

Our school has two jazz bands, if you're in varsity concert band, you go into varsity jazz band, and if ur in symphonic concert band, you go into symphonic jazz band. I'm in varsity. uhh... FWAP?? sweatdrop Why wouldn't you be able to play the trumpet??

But now he's in band with me and all is good. 3nodding xp Trumpet is my BD's favorite instrument, too! She's always talking about how it's "superior" and whatnot. But she doesn't particularly like the trumpet PLAYERS, 'cause they mess around all the time. You know how it is. We got a new concert piece today (Charlie Brown Christmas! xp ), and since I was already sitting with the saxes (we'd been doing pep band music) and was too lazy to move to my spot for flute, I just looked off tenor-guy's music and played the tenor part. Sad thing was, I couldn't hear first flute at ALL, and I KNOW that at least two or three other people had it. I was like, "Hm... so THAT'S what it sounds like when I'm not playing...." It was really sad. I leaned over to tenor-guy and was like, "Do YOU hear first flute?" and he was like, "No..." and I was like, "Neither do I. This is what happens when an entire section slacks off." We REALLY need to start sectionals....

Salutations! I'm mainly an alto sax player but I also play flute on the side^^ I just have a used Yamaha that I got for Christmas last year. I love to play my friends' music on it and watch them be amazed that I can play heart
Ah, just because you can play flute doesn't mean you'll do well at brass. I've also got a trumpet but I can't play it for skittles. It just doesn't sound pretty gonk

XD Yeah, I'm glad too. I missed him. We're "partners in crime," kinda... we talk across the room (during concert season, anyway... we sit next to each other for pep band) and get glared at by our BD. I think that's all some people in it can play, though. x_x;; Yes, the flute section needs much guidance... guidance from Megan the Great! XDD Just kidding. Me and my friend Sarah are taking co-leadership of the flute section, though... it's needed BADLY. Sarah's probably the best flautist after me, and she's the one who came to me and complained about the other flautists - basically echoed everything I'd been thinking. XD

I got it in sixth grade... it was new when I got it, but now... well, it's seen better days. XD I've had it nearly five years, so... yeah. I want a new one before I start college... preferably open-holed. I wish I had a trumpet... brother gave his back to the school (he was borrowing it) so I haven't played in forever. Those things are fun. I did pretty well on it, too. I was better than him, in any case. xd
