I'm pretty sure I'm an empath...I can feel others emotions...even like if a book is really well written it's almost like I can feel the charcters emotions...Which might mean I should be admitted....I'd love to Astral project if anyone can give me some tips on how to do it I'd love that...I dont' really know any other powers...I wish I had more...

I've had a few precognitive dreams only a few days before the subject in them happened. I've recently found a few books in my grandma's and greatgrandma's bookshelves about different psychic abilities (and how to develop them) and about chakras. I'm gonna start reading them soon.

NeonHellcat I've had a few precognitive dreams only a few days before the subject in them happened. I've recently found a few books in my grandma's and greatgrandma's bookshelves about different psychic abilities (and how to develop them) and about chakras. I'm gonna start reading them soon. Aurellion This is probably a little late: but back to the dream jumping thing. I have a friend, Kaitlyn that can do that. She always appears as a cloaked figure and can choose who to hop too. (heh, she constantly haunted our principal a couple of years ago. blaugh ) This is a little hard to explain: but when I was younger I had a couple of bad dreams with this cloaked figure watching over it all, and I got really annoyed at it and started tearing the figure apart. *shudder* that was bad, as it was lucid. I always seem to have bad dreams.. anyhow, that was in England, 7 years ago. (I'm oooold!) Then, about 2 years ago I finally met the cloaked figure, but didn't realise it. Things where really awkward, but neither of us knew why. Probably because she was the one that I teared apart in the dream...! Later on, she told me she could 'dream walk' as she called it, and one of the ones she had gone into was the dream I had. She was able to describe it, and yup it sounded right.. Creepy man.. I also have experienced the turning off electrical equipment thing, so don't freak out dark_angel. It's happened a couple of times now: but there is a kind of 'cure.' It's called a Negator! To find out more, clickey here. As for my 'ability' things.. Well, I can sense how people are feeling, occasionally what they're thinking, I can heat and cool people with my aura, see 'ghosts' and partially commune with them, and have future dreams. I don't think the future dreams are actually an ability: I think that the human mind gets bored when dreaming and maps out a series of events, like ripples in a pond. Occasionally, it gets it right and BAM! A partial deja-vu. Then again.. I could be talking absolute codswallop. Oh woe is me. Oo, cookie. Time to shut up, me thinks! Actually, "Dreamwalking" is what I've called one of my side talents, I think, a split-technique coming from my Prescience and Retrospection, which have yet to fail me, in any regard. I've experienced the radio thing, and the waking-up-and-something-happening thing, and the knowing-before-it's-raining thing, though I think everyone gets this to some degree, as Aurellion has said. And because I've had spiritual contact since I was very young, I can also...intercept dreams. I've saved friends from nightmares before, and once I challenged and defeated a malevolent spirit for dominiation over my dream. Introspection is a little rarer for me, where I can correctly sense what a person needs to hear and how it needs to be said. That, surely, is more my Sister's gift. I'm not sure Talent would be proper for someone who guesses a tune right once in a while, but certainly Ability would be better.... Gift implies divinity, Power implies dominance, Skill implies mastery.... Yep. Ability is the best term for this. Easily. Love and Vale, -LD

Common sense is a magical ability, right?
Oh fine. I'm not really a natural. I was taught/taught myself practically everything. Even my 'natural' shields were an accident when I didn't realise I was putting them up, so many, so thick. It makes me a pretty impossible antiempath.
I don't think the (what I'm pretty sure is) therianthropy counts either. It doesn't give me anything exciting.
I CAN use crystals well, astral project, see auras and generally play about with energy. I'm not a ritual person, rituals scare me.

Everyone was born with these abilities...
Just to some it comes more naturally than to others, or they are just stronger in developing them, but others just have to tap into their abilities and nuture them basically and let the grow..
hopefully that makes sense...
In other words Pratice makes Perfect...

Fallen Angel Kato Kitoma Precog. Having dreams about future events. . So then this really is possible?? I've done it before and thought it was just my imagination. that i had wanted it to happen like it did in the dream so it hapened that way..i never knew it really is possible for your dreams to show you future events. Now i have somthingto think about.

ok now i have a question to ask can't it be possible that dejavu should be counted along these lines how some people know that something has happened before. or does that just fall under past lives?

I can sometimes detect people's emotions and thoughts, both up close and over long distances; I also seem to have this uncanny ability to know just what to say to people to get them out of negative moods, though maybe I'm simply good with people. xp
I've been able to commune with a spirit, talk to him, and get him to touch me. At least I think it was a him.
I have limited healing abilities; people have described it as warm or tingly, or a combination of the two. I sometimes take some of the pain as my own, though I've heard there are ways to get rid of it without taking it yourself. I also seem to be able to balance people's auras/chakras, to an extent.
Any more information, especially on how to gain and further develop these and other abilities, would be greatly appreciated me me, and others, I'm sure! 3nodding

dark_angel_32189 I have no idea if this has anything to do with special abilities or anything, but it's always bothered me... One day when I was about 10 or 11 I had gotten in a fight with my brother in the car on the way home about something and I was really angry. When we got home I went in my room and laid on my bed and started crying. After a few minutes my tv turned on by itself (the romote control had no power button and the only way to turn the tv on was to go up to it and turn it on and I was the only one in the room and was no where near the tv). It scared the crap out of me. Anyway, I got up and turned it off. But then every time I walked in front of the tv (which I did several times) it would turn on again (without me being anywhere close enough to turn it on). And I would always turn it off again. It did that for a while until I had completely calmed down and apologized to my brother. That's the only time that has happened though. Does anyone have any possible explanation why that happened? It could have been ur guardian spirit or angel wanting you to apologize to ur brother or u could have subconsiously done it (like with the power of ur mind)

Healing abilities...I can generally heal people of minor pains and headaches. I generally end up making their pain my own though...I would like to learn how to control that. Eh... I would love to learn reiki...*wishful thinking*

Oh gosh... I'm not sure if I would qualify as having any specific abilities (perhaps someone can correct me on this) but I have had a lot of experience with things along these lines. I'll give a few examples below:
When I dream, it's always very vivid... I smell, I taste, I feel. Dreams have always been in color for me, and I very often have at least partial control over my actions when I'm in them. It is also very easy for me to remember them. On several occasions I have found myself dreaming of things that happen soon after. This is probably going to make me sound crazy, but a week or so before 9-11 I dreamed that I was in a giant building made of mostly glass, and a plane flew right through it... I was terrified when 9-11 happened, and this wasn't the only experience I've had with dreams. I've also heard that when you dream you supposedly can't dream that you're anyone but yourself... I've had a dream where I was inhabiting my mother's body when she was a child (obviously a period of time I never saw!)
I have these REALLY vivid deja-vu moments that can't be explained. I also agree with what someone said earlier about them being memories of potential past lives, because I really don't see what else they could be. One time I had a memory resurface about a restaurant that I remembered visiting... I could visualize the decor, the menu, the location... everything was crystal clear. I tried to approach my mom about the restaurant since I was assuming I had attended it with her, but she just looked at me like I was crazy... from there, I took it to my grandmother who looked at me like I was equally crazy and proceeded to tell me I couldn't have eaten there. The place had been torn down when SHE was in her late thirties or so, yet I could describe it perfectly to which she attested. That was one of the weirdest moments ever.
I also believe that it's possible I could be an empath. I've always felt emotions very deeply, and I can often read other people perfectly. It's not the easiest gift to have considering I feel enough pain in my life as it is, but I oftentimes find other's emotions projecting onto me. A good example was earlier today... my friend's mother is getting ready to move, and she was browsing through old videos she was going to give to her friend at work. When she got to a certain one, a pang of sadness went through me before she even started talking... she went on to say she loved that tape, and would miss it. I had to actually leave because I felt myself tearing up for some reason (even though I've never seen the tape myself).
Anyway, that being said... I'm not sure if any of these suggest an ability per say. An ability I would LOVE to be able to develop is Astral Projection though... I've always been fascinated and I have several books on the subject, but I've found the material on it varies so much. I'd love to hear what any of you think about it!
