Sunstrike

Sunstrike seemed to suddenly realize what he'd sounded like, but by then lips had already pressed against his, sealing off breath and protests. He felt about as awkward as someone that was on a first date, not knowing what to do with his hands at first, then trying not to think about how much clothing neither of them were wearing.

It was hard not to reply to a kiss like that, when someone just covers your mouth, you don't really have a choice in the matter. Gently he placed both hands against Shin's waist, just above the towel, which wasn't saying much, and enjoyed the tease for what it really was.

Absently he was still worried about going too far, but he trusted Shin, for what it was worth, and responded very gently in stark contrast to the elf's hunger.

Shins strong arms would slip down, trailing over Sun's sides until they slipped under his backside. With a bit of a heave, he hefted Sun up to rest on his hips, moving over to a flat wall and pressing sun's back to the wet heat-soked stones.

What he was going to do next-- Forgotten at the uneasy sound of a,

"AHEM."

Shin's eyes flashed to the door of the change room where a young healer peeked around the corner, only her nose and eyes and a small bit og her green robes visible from the door frame.

The elf's cheeks flushed as he turned his back to the door and set Sun down gently beneath the somewhat concealing water, one arm still around his wasit for support, using his body to shield the naked Salamander.

Sunstrike made a soft needy noise when Shin pulled him up, and then froze, much like the elf had. There's nothing quite as off putting as a female voice in the middle of a heated make out session.

He was settled back in the water. However, he had a split second to get his revenge. Blocked from view of the door he actually put his hand against Shin's thigh and moved underneath the wet cloth in a casual grope, his red eyes sparkling because he knew, in his evil little heart, one thing.

Shin wouldn't be able to do anything in return.

It was just a quick squeeze before he leaned around the elfs tanned body to the woman at the door. Scooting away before Shin had time to do the same.

"My saviour!" And grinned at her sleepily, and any healer worth it's salt would know what the hot water did to him.

Shin's eyes nearly fell out of his head as all the blood rushed to his face in a boiling blush. His entire body quivered from that one touch and it took all he had not to whip around and take Sun that very second, Despite having an audience.

He felt Sun scoot away and relaxed slightly, after that little beaut' he wasn't sure what else the salamander had in mind.

Once there was some distance between the two men, the young healer stepped out and stood, framed in the doorway. She looked about 17, with coppery red hair that fell past her shoulders in sweeping curls. Her green eyes stood out like polished gems as she lowered a sachel from her shoulders and lay it out on the steps.

"Commander."

"Healer Roisin."

(Pronounced Ro-sheen) Shin smiles at the young woman and walks over to greet her at the steps. She didn't flush at the sights of one of the DSG's hottest most elligibles in a practically transparent towel, nor at the red-headed stranger. Despite the fact that she was so young, she was a skilled healer and modesty had no place in a medical profession.

"My saviour!"

Roisin turned to smile at Sun and then paused looking accusingly at Shin.

"YOU sir! Got my patient water drunk!"

"I whuuu?"

He blinked at her, not quite following, as he stole little looks at Sun.

Roisin shakes her head, removing her over robe to reveal a form fitting green vest and a skirt that fell just above the knees. Removing her sandles she slips into the water and walks past the Elf, over to Sun. She bows slightly, smiling at him.

"I'm Roisin, sorry to have kept you waiting."

"Roisin," Sunstrike carefully pronounced the name, and smiled in return. The stark red of his eyes barely changed with thought, though the pronunciation was adequate even for a drunk person. "Pleasure to meet you!"

He placed one hand on the ledge, and pushed himself up standing practically over her and only slightly shaky as he held out a hand very casually. The purpling bruises that wrapped around his form marred his skin in an oddly marbled effect, though he seemed to be taking it in stride.

Only the upper thigh metal band gleamed out of the water, the skin tinged red and stretched where it was healing slowly. Something about getting out of the water must have woken him a little, because there was suddenly a tight edge around his eyes. Other then that, he seemed fine, grinning like a cat that had nicked a bottle of cream.

"Don't blame Shin too much for the water, I could have told him, but it felt nice, and I didn't want to spoil things."

Shin looked so utterly lost as Sunstrike and Roisin talked over him, he muttered something in elvish and then swoosh-stomped through the water the bench like ledge and sat sulking, letting Riosin do her job.

Roisin slipped her smaller hand inside Sun's clasping it delicately as she shook the offered limb politely. Hand on her slender hip, she motions towards the steps out of the water, where she set her supplies.

"Are you okay to sit over there? I need your leg laid out straight and elevated so I can inspect it."

Sunstrike looked at Shin as he stomped to his corner and blinked with a start as Roisin asked him to sit outside the pool of water.

"It should be okay!" He limped through, up the steps, and to the supplies, sitting himself downa little awkwardly and stretching his wounded leg out straight.

"No magic, right?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 09, 2007 2:11 pm

"No magick."

She said with a nod.

Ignoring the commander's little pity party in his corner of woe, Roisin follows Sun out of the water. Grabbing two towels, she dries herself off and then sets about toweling of Sun gently, Drying her work area, which was essentially Sun's entire body.

Once he was dry, she gently inspected him from every which angle, testing his range of motion and the inflimation of stressed muscles. The bruising was fairly severe and the stitches holding torn flesh together seemed somewhat impractical.

Her face contorted into all sorts of thoughtful expressions as hmmed and hawwed, asking 'does it hurt when I do this' several times over.

Sunstrike tilted his head, slowly sobering up now that he wasn't completely waterlogged. He was poked and prodded in a sterile manner, but only his leg made him hiss in pain when she moved it.

"That always hurts...the muscles and tendons don't really know what to do with themselves yet." He was really worried they'd start to tighten up on him, but anything severe in the way of excersize wasn't that great with the stitches.

His shoulders slumped a little and he looked a little lost.

"Is there any way to get rid of the pain and not do more damage?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 09, 2007 2:51 pm

"Of course."

She smiles brightly at him as she rocks back on her heels and tilts her head to the side.

"This is essentially your evaluation and a little treatment to help you out. I'm going to take my report back with me and we'll prepare a full treatment for you."

She pulls out a container of salve and rubs her hands together rapidly, warming them before she opens it and dips her fingers into the linement.
The creme smelled strongly of a potent tea. Smiling she spreads the mixture over her hands and begins gently massaging it into Sun's skin.

"This is a mixture of things... but the main ingredients are tea leaf and dried Arnica. They will help control the bleeding under the skin's surface and reduce swelling and inflammation."

Sun would feel his skin prickle with an odd tingly sensation, warm... before the flesh immediately began to feel soothed and somewhat numbed, or rather significantly dulled.

"There's also mentha piperita oil... it'll feel warm and numb the pain."

Sunstrike made a soft sound in reply. When she first touched the skin it was painful, and he didn't trust himself to really speak until she'd finished, his breath catching every time the salve went on.

"Thank you very much, Roisin, I appreciate all the effort on my behalf." He smiled softly when he spoke, hands proping him up and towel covering any indecency.

"Any other orders, sweetness?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 09, 2007 3:39 pm

She smiles and shrugs the thanks off casually.

"No need to thank me Sun, this is what I do. It guys like you who make sure I even have a job to do."

She grins as she finishes rubbing the salve into his skin. Wiping her hands off she digs for something else. She pulls out a tube of cream and prepares it in her hand much like she had the other one. Only this one was much more pungent than the other.

"S'pretty much the same drill, s'just like uhh... the extra strength version. It's properties will penetrate deeper to reach the wounded ligaments and muscles."

She was extremely careful with Sun's leg as she worked the cream in as gently as possible.

"Any other orders, sweetness?"

"Well as a matter of fact--"

She said as she finished with his leg and turned back to her kit.

"I have mixtures for some compresses, and some tea and cakes I want you to have with your meals or eat and drink as often as you're hungry. Also! Eat as many citrus fruits as you can, Vitamin C is essential to your recovery."

She pulls out a wrapped bundle and plops it down beside her.

Sun watched with growing facination as she pulled item after item out of her bag.

"Is there like a loop in space inside your bag or something?" He scooted closer to stick his nose in as she rummaged, curiosity practically radiating off of him.

"I get a goodie bag too, is basically what your saying...and oranges are nice, I don't have a problem with that."

Food wasn't a huge requirement for Sun, and he usually ended up eating just so other people didn't worry. But he'd take into consideration what the healer had said and try and remember to get it all down.

"When can I start training again?" He perked up. "If it feels okay would I be able to start today?" He was pushing his luck...and knew it. But he had to ask.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 09, 2007 4:30 pm

"Good. And yes, you get a goodie bag too."

She grins as she opens the bundle to place the two creams in it as well.

"Apply those 3 times a day."

"When can I start training again?" He perked up. "If it feels okay would I be able to start today?"

If this had been an anime-- There would have been a pulsing vein sticking out from her forehead and a paper fan in her hand, whith which Sun would have been appropriately thwacked! .... .... ... ... But it wasn't.

Instead she narrowed her eyes scrutinizingly at him. The tiny irish woman was suddenly impressively intimidating as her expression darkened and she loomed over him.

"Absolutely NO way. You're resting for a week minimum. We can set up some physiotherapy for you... consider that training for traning. But NO fighting... under ANY circumstances."

He saluted seriously and then grinned widely.

Inside something broke, even if he'd been expecting that answer...a week was a long time to wait, even longer if people were planning on getting things done in that amount of time. But even he knew that any damage done would mean a longer wait...time he just didn't have.

Sun flopped back on the stonework and looked upsidedown at Shin, waving a little. He hoped the elf wasn't feeling too excluded...he'd probably need his help a lot until things were sorted, and Sun wasn't sure he could handle all that angst if Shin decided to be insulted.
