The muse was poking at a p***y eye, that was bubbling as it healed and didn't look at her as she spoke. "Yes. Yes. Quite Fine. See if the troops didn't wreak the place, and if they did, tell the innkeeper I'll pay for the damages. Oh, and if you want, see if the people inside are alright. That might be important." She said, and then just took the eye out of it's place and dusted it off, before popping it back in.

Kitasu nodded. She would see if the people inside were alright, but first she wanted to get that cow. She looked around a bit and soon spotted it. The dumb thing was standing there, grazing as if nothing had ever happened. She sighed as she spotted the pole on the ground nearby. How did that stupid thing pull a pole out of the ground?
She walked over to it and picked the pole up, then took its lead and moved it closer to the inn, setting the pole on the ground. She would stick the pole in its proper hole later, but for now she didn't want to tear up the landscape any more than she already had.
She walked over to the entrance, then poked her head inside and looked around.

Once the attention was no loinger centered in the tavern, Greff had left one of his employees in charge and went to search for Hitori and the kid. Greff knew that the bunch of patrons of his bar could take care of themselves, but Greff had a soft spot for kids. He didnt like to see them hurt...

Kitasu blinked, seeing no one in the tavern but an unfamiliar bartender. She cautiously stepped in and started looking around for someone, anyone she could recognize.

Sortha was going to go see if the people outside where ok but when she got to the door she had to sit down at one of the tables. She just started to feeling really light headed and dizzy. 'Oh no not again. Why now and here. I need to get away.' Sortha thought. Then she got up and walked to the stairs with her hand agenst the wall to help her from falling. She had to get to her room and fast.

Having no luck finding the boy or Hitori, Greff decided to go back and oversee the inn again. As he entered, he passed Kitsuta.
"Kitsuta! I saw ye run upstairs in a big hurry. Ye mind telling me what exactly went on here? I didnt see nutthin but them soldiers running around and then a large commotion outside. Now I can't make heads or tails of what happened!" Greff went back behind the counter, replacing the cludgel by the money box.

Artemis strolled in, shaking her hands off and walking up to the bar. Sitting, she ordered a drink. It was remarkable the degree of calm she had, as if nothing had happened in the last hour and that the only thing that seemed to bug her at the moment where the tiny wings fluttering on her back, which she was eyeing with a scowl from the corner of her eyes.

Before Kitasu could answer, she saw Artemis walk in and sit down, ordering a drink as if nothing happened. Now why would the girl be putting on such a front at this time? Well, whatever. Kitasu turned back to the bartender and sat down as she spoke.
"I'm not exactly sure of it myself, really. Just some bloke trying to capture that," she pointed towards Artemis with a clawed thumb, "gal. They're apparently.. well, I don't know. All I know is I could have gone without that pompous jerkface of a commander with his little superiority complex. I fought the guy... well, I have my own reasons for that, let's just say I didn't really like him a whole lot. Anyway, they're gone, but we lost.. and.. I can't really say anymore. I apologize for my poor dialogue, but I'm very tired, and I am aiming to get drunker than I am already." She placed a few gold pieces on the counter and pointed toward the Vodka bottle in the back.

Sortha got to her room and layed there on the bed. After so long her long silver hair turned a dark brown. Then her leaf like wings changed into angel wings and once green eyes where now blue. Her skin even lost its tint of silver. Sortha wiped away a few tears that came from the pain of all the changes. Then she took off her clock that she had on the hole time and walked down the steps.

Artemis looked her glass, the ice slowly melting in the half filled cup. "Lost, why would you say such a thing? I see this as a victory. None of us where hurt or capture." She stated, smiling as best she could and then sipping her drink again.

Kitasu paused, looking thoughtful at the counter.
"...Yes. It wasn't exactly a defeat, either, was it? But... I know those type of people. They'll just try again. Their greed consumes them... and it corrupts everything they touch, like a poison. The yard outside is a mess, the animals have all been thoroughly spooked, but the slavers themselves are gone without a trace." She grimaced. "Ugh... how can people capture sentient beings without a second thought? Unfeeling, unthinking bastards, thinking only of how much money someone is worth-" She caught herself, and sat up straighter, looking toward Artemis with a bit of that amiable smile she wears so often. "Ah, but there's no use mumbling to myself all day, eh? I'll just drown my regrets in Vodka and crash in my room. I'll wake up much better tonight or tomorrow, besides the hangover, anyway..." She grinned. "What about you? You got similar plans?"

Her eyes glared at her eyes, and there firey intensity alone made it feel like it could melt the cubes. Though a smile was on her face, it veiled the inner workings of her mind. She's preching to the choir, yet she doesen't know it all. Tell me now, since you have wings, are you a monster or a saviour? It was the voice again, that asked her things that she never replied to. Grinning more, she turned to her and raised her empty glass. "Great minds think alike." She said.

Kitasu's tail gave the slightest of a flick, almost like a whip, when Artemis looked at her. She wasn't blind -- no one looks like that when they smile. So the girl is either crazy or concealing something. However, Kitasu's face never faltered, and she spoke as carefree as she could with the preceeding events. "Ah, good then. Perhaps I'll see you later tonight. One more drink and I'm crashing." She placed some more coins on the counter and asked the bartender for a glass of whiskey.
