A frown creased the girl's smooth forehead at Alastair's answer. Obviously she had not been clear enough. She pressed her two fingers to her brow and closed her eyes, trying to stay as neutral as possible. He is new here. He is disoriented. It was your mistake. Now you must repeat yourself. One of the things Tatiyana hated most was having to explain something twice. With her memory, it was never necessary, so she didn't understand why others did not also grasp an idea the first time around. Brushing off his question, she re-phrased her own.

"I do not mean the name you were given at birth. I speak of the name you gave yourself. The name you describe your.. your abilities with, no?" She raised her head to look up at him, her struggle with words making it hard for her to keep from merely showing this man the way to the Professor and never seeing him again. She could not leave this encounter imprinted on his mind so. It would make her seem a fool.

Alastairs cheeks had taken on a light blush from the girls reaction to what he had said. Apparently he had either said his own name wrong or something, because she had given off a reaction that made him feel like he had said the dumbest thing ever recorded on the planet.

When she explained herself again, he stared at her blankly for a moment, not registering what her new phrase meant. The name he gave himself? When she mentioned what he called himself in connection with his abilities though, he cocked his head backwards with a face that said that he understood her now. Shrugging slightly, he stared down at his hands, looking almost ashamed of them. For a moment, he mumbled under his breath, but he could barely hear himself speak, so he figured there was no possible way she heard him.

"I..I uh..well..I kinda fancy da name..Gravicade..?" He spoke as though he were answering a question with an answer that could have been wrong. He had only called himself that name once or twice in his life since his powers developed, but he had never expected it to come into play other than in his own fantasies.

Alastair's uncertainty made Tatiyana feel bad about her seemingly aloof actions. But she would not rescind them. Past was past, and she had gotten what she wanted. Gravicade? For a moment she mused over what his powers might be, but she left it be instead of asking him another question.

"Thank you. It is very nice to meet you Mr. Ramsay. I am Tatiyana Aleksandra Romanov, called Flashback." She did not hold out her hand, but bowed her head slightly, two heavy braids falling from her mess of hair to shade her face. Raising a slim hand she brushed them behind her shoulders, looking once more at the young man's attire.

"Perhaps you would like to dress yourself in attire more fitting to meet the head of this establishment?" She asked, wishing to offer him a kindness to make up for her own trouble with words.

There were far too many letters in that girls name to memorize it completely, and the blank look that had befallen upon his face again made it known. Quickly wiping it away though, he smiled and remembered Tatiyana and Flashback, making it easier on his brain. Flashback was an interesting name, he noted to himself, but it left almost too much room for possibilities to her powers.

When she merely nodded though in greeting, he looked at his outstretched hand for a moment before letting it fall back down to his side, then slipped both hands back into his pockets.

Listening to her speak, he glanced back down at his own clothing again and nearly laughed. No, I prefeh to go try for an acceptanc' lookin lik' this.. He thought, but kept that same thought exactly where it belonged, in his head. Instead, he nodded, then spoke up, his voice more certain than it had been during the last few times he had spoken to her. "I woul' app'recia' it much, thank yah.."

Stepping backwards out of her way, he looked down both ends of the hall again, awaiting her to lead on and wondering what all this institute held within its walls at the same time. It was far more fancier than he expected. These people were either seriously talented in teaching their students to control their powers, or they went through a lot of money replacing broken items. He hoped to god it was the former, or the trip here would just be a waste of time.

Tatiyana flicked the cigarrette stub out the window, hoping whoever found it was not one of the mutants that would think to check for DNA, just for fun. Personally, she wasn't very fond of biology. It seemed so.. terrestrial. She prefered quantum physics and astronomy, causality and time-space continum. She couldn't figure what so enthralled people about the things of little to no import that happened here.

Turning right down the corridor, past the library, she headed up the stairs to the student rooms, absently running her hand along the wall without even realizing she was doing it. Habit. Tatiyana was terrible at breaking habits.

She withdrew a key from her pocket, unlocking a door at the end of the hall. It led to a higher story. Her sleeping quarters were seperated from the other students, next to the rooms of two highly skilled telepaths, who, even in sleep, had the ability to keep her from projecting her memories until she could learn to control them herself. It was one of the things about this school that had pleased her most. She would not be sharing those horrible scenes with anyone. She would not be driving anyone mad with her visions of the past.

"Here is my room. You may make yourself comfortable while I find you new clothes." Saying that, she opened the door, letting the gloom into the hallway... or light into the room, whichever was more tangible at the time.

The curtains were pulled tightly shut, leaving the furniture black blobs in the darkness. Tatiyana made her way to the windows and opened them, revealing her room to more detail. It was simple, with a full sized bed against one wall, and a small sitting area. A single bookshelf held all the books she'd taken from the library, a special priveledge given her memory and the speed with which she learned.

Two doors led off the room. One was to an adjoining bath, that also connected to the room beside hers. The other was to a closet, small but enough. She headed to the bathroom, leaving the door open to signal to Alastair that he may follow if he chose to do so. She walked across the bathroom and opened the opposite door, peeking in, making sure the occupants were absent. Silently she closed the door behind her.

When she returned, it was within seconds, and she had a pair of men's slacks and a green button up shirt, neatly pressed, almost new looking. And they would fit Alastair almost perfectly. She remembered clearly the size of the telepath next door to her, and he and the young man were nearly the same size, if with seperate proportions.

"Here are the clothes for you. They will fit. If you would like to bathe you may."

"Ohh that sounds like a threat!"

Valerie smirked seemingly unfazed by the trembling earth. Being gifted with the element of water her body could naturally adapt to situations just like water which wold flow where it wanted, by now her long fingers had been coated by a saplike clear liquid, it seeped onto the floor around her feet, exciting Mizu to no end, he cackled to himself. The watery blob had grown somewhat himself and was no longer the small creature he was before, now he was around half the size of Valerie.

"Mizu hasnt had the chance for a fight in ages...."

The Element reffered to himself in a third person as he cracked his watery knuckles, Valerie however wasnt going to throw the first punch, it just wasnt done, this boy Lance was obviously the type to be rattled easilly, the blonde hoped it wouldnt turn into a fistfight as she was no use with her hands having relied on her powers mostly

However the teen opted for a more playful approch, lifting her finger up she let a small squirt of water hit the male on the cheek, Valerie giggled slightly giving again the impression of stupidity, not really bothered if people knew she was a mutant, it would have gotten out eventually

At one time Toad had hopped to drop resin on Victoria's face and suffocate her, but now he only hopped that be would land softly. Toad, who had hanging from the ceiling by his feet, had not realized his face made a good target for practicing baseball. The Victoria girl had done just that, she picked up her stupid book and waked Mortimer with such force that he was knocked from the ceiling and sent sliding down the hall. His socks still dangling from above, forever marking where he had been.

When the boy finally did come to a stop it was a few feet from Lance and his new "buddy" this time however Mortimer didn't join this brawl, his fight was with Victoria. Standing, he leap forward and spat muscle paralyzing resin back down the hallway. The girl broke his nose, she was going to pay.

"Oh, no you don't!" Morgan said, as Mortimer spat the sticky substance down the hallway. "I'll clean it off, I swear!" Morgan said, shoving Victoria out of the path of the mucus, grabbing the book from her, blocking the resin with that, and then spinning around to try and catch Mortimer in the chest with his arm (clothesline-style).

Everyone else here might be ready and willing to use their powers, but Morgan was only going to use them as a last resort. If he could end this without using them, all the better.

Damion sighed inwardly to himself. Was it just him or was everyone and there grandmother using some kind of mutation in this fight? He pulled his hood tightly over his head and stared at all of the people currently involved. It was getting difficult now because of how complicated an otherwise simple quarel was becoming. He sighed cursing every single person involved-not for fighting so much as for doing it directly in front of him. At around the point lance made the whole ground start trembling he decided that his neutrality would not be possible much longer. This fight was getting more and more serious. "Screw it" he said quietly as his body and all of the clothing directly attached to his skin faded into the ground below.

He knew that noone in their right mind would attempt to fight him at this point (what with the battle growing so large and all) but he was still getting a weapon. He quickly reemerged fully human in the room and grabbed a Silver cane off of the teacher's chair. Something with a blade would have been better but he didn't see any and he was not getting his knife taken up when this whole even drew to a close. Hopefully without anyones notice he leaned back into the hallway. He may not have bee involved but it was an entertaining fiasco for someone who had never realy seen any of the people before.

Lance gave the girl one of this every popular smirks following her remark. Of course it wasn't a threat, it was more of a warning of what she's was getting herself into. Concentrating a little bit harder, the ground rippled lazily beneath them. So far, she and the water creature next to her didn't seem at all phased by it, possibly due to her mutation. A moment passed between where nothing happened. They had both placed a bet, now it was only a matter of seeing who was bluffing. And

A small voice deep inside was saying to stop, back down, you're already in enough trouble, no need make in worse. And for a moment he considered, but as a squirt of water hitting him square on the cheek, he told that voice to shut the hell up.

"That's it Blondie, I'm gonna rock your world now!" In one strong fluid motion, Lance drew his hands high above his head, and thrust them down and together again like the mighty hammer of Thor. The ground trembled, slightly at first, then build up in a catastrophic, but controlled tidal wave effect. At the very least it would "uproot" the blond, sending her flying into next Tuesday, but as with any, earthquake, the aftershock can be far, far worse.

Yes! Victoria was correct in her aiming as the book collided with a satisfying 'CRUNCH' square on Toad's face. As a bonus to breaking his nose, the frog-boy was thrown off from his grasp on the ceiling and clear across the floor with ease. "Awe, poor Toad," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "need a band-aid for that bloody nose of yours?"

Her shining moment of victory was interrupted as Toad picked himself off the floor to retaliate. He leapt half-way back down the hallway in a single bound, spitting the same sickening resin as he went. Luckily, she was shoved out of the direct line of fire by Morgan. In one smooth gesture, he blocked the resin with her algebra book and nearly clotheslined the frog-boy himself.

Victoria couldn't help but be in a brief state of awe. This kid, Morgen, had come to her rescue twice in the past five minutes, she supposed she owed him a sandwich or something after all this was over. Her moment to dwell however was over as several handfuls of Toad's resin barreled in her direction. Her reflexes were to slow to duck, they hit her like water balloons. One in her left leg, another in the right arm and a third in her left shoulder. Within seconds, the resin's paralyzing properties took effect and she fell like a rag-doll to the floor.

Valerie giggled slightly but stopped as she watched Lance unleash his earth trembling powers, gulping slighlty the teen immediatly activated her own abilities and the bottom half of her body turned into a gelatinous substance which rippled like the ocean taking in most of the earthquakes force, but still left Valerie shaking slightly on her watery feet. Mizu hadnt expected Lances onlslaught and fell backwards turning into a watery puddle, Deciding to leave this battle to his master he slivvered to the sidelines!

"So your not just a pretty face then!"

Elemental taunted flicking a strand of blonde hair away from her face. Watching Mizu fall to the ground Valerie pouted slightly and cursed silently to the creature who had left her to fight on her own. Returning her attention to the fight she smiled sweetly, too sweetly for a girl with her power.

"Looks like were evenly matched Lancey-chan...you may have gotten Mizu out but Im much more tough...feel like picking a fight with a girl now!"

She asked putting her hands forth bringing up two torrents of water to swirl playfully around her in a defensive manner fearing that the after effects of the quake would come into play!

A small, non descript car drove up to the institute. It was the kind of car that screamed for attention because of how normal it was. The car stopped and a girl stepped out of it, shouldering a backpack over her shoulder. Her load was light because her things had already been sent earlier by her mother. She had a surly expression on her face, green and black hair fluttering in the breeze. Her clothing was carefully chosen for the reason of hiding certain things, including her arms and the back of her neck. The car drove off and the girl started up to the school.

Her name was Koriander Hito and she wasn't at all happy to be there.

"sure we can got now, but yea lets see the doc" Darius said grabbing his soda and putting away the pizza" ready to go" he said before taking sitting"

Kidd nodded and headed down to the doc's office. she'd been feeling energetic but nothing eles her body seemed to be numb.
"hey Mr. McCoy! I've come you my check up." Kidd said excitedly as she walked into the room.
"What? Ah!" he looked over his book and to his surprise Kidd was unfrozen and walking around. "When, did you thaw?"
"Oh like a half an hour age, but i was very hungry. Anyway, I've been feeling odd the past 30 mins and I was wondering if the whole ice cube deal would have anything to do with that." she said bubbly. mrgreen
"Ah, well yes that is a distinct possibility, hope up on the table here for a moment and we'll have a look at you." Beast motioned to the examining table. he looked over to Darius, and raised his eye brow. "young man would you please wait out side for a moment or two?"
