Ivory would smile as they were going to build the sand castle that they were planning to. Cherry was in charge, and he listened to her, however, he had also forgotten sunscreen. His pale skin was pink by the end of the day. He would smile. He had a good time at the beach.
To him, it was like they were becoming one big family. He would bring everyone around a fire at the end, surprising them with S'mores. He would look up at the sky, how could have today been more perfect.

Danaë would look at the sky, but the news in the letter was disconcerting. Signal had officially sent her parent's a missing in action letter. He was presumed dead. She didn't know what to do with herself. She ended up staring at the sky. She missed watching her brother fly with his giant wings. Her weapons were based on his Semblence. She always wanted to make sure that they would fight together, so she made her daggers and her throwing knives look like feathers.
She was distracted when they went towards the volleyball court. She didn't know what to do, but she would watch the two that were playing.

It took Ora over an hour to start to feel better. Most of which was spent dry heaving. She almost felt bad for her team mate, but then she thought about it. She didn't, they both had deserved it. Ora for not keeping control her herself, and him for being an a**. She would eventually feel a weight on her non-swollen horn. It didn't weigh much, but it was noticeable. She assumed it was Lena. "As much as I hated that...if it happens again, I'm gona need you to sting me. She hated how abruptly it happened, but it kept her from hurting Lena.
She would look out into the now sullied water. It was pretty, but for sure, she wasn't gona get into the water again unless they needed to for a mission. Today was a whirlwind for her. She went from having a crush on Lena, to snorkeling, to finding a lost family member. Then things were pushed further, and she lost control of her bodily functions due to a new an emotion. Then she was saved by the person that caused them. She hoped that there would be no more days off like this.

XXXToday was actually the worst day ever. Not only were the students ignoring their teacher, but her fellow coworker had dragged her out of line from getting food with the false promise to repay her. What happened? The bird brain flew off and left her behind! The nerve! Now the infamous land shark was left to her own devices ... Meaning she'd just have to go hunt for herself. By hunting for herself, it was more of her going and raiding the ice cream shop that was by the beach that several students had gone to during their stay here. The only bliss from this trip was the fact that she now had mountains of ice cream she could shovel into her gullet, and no one that worked there was brave enough to tell her they were closing soon... So there the woman sat, savage maw agape as she continued to shovel a variety of sweets with reckless abandon. ... That was until the brain freeze kicked in. While her brain seemed to be the size of a peanut, it was STILL very possible for her to get a brain freeze. She'd freeze in place. Her eyes had become an abyss with no emotion, her jaw hanging open as melted ice cream and drool began to pool out. Compared to all the torture she had gone through until this moment, this brain freeze seemed to be true agony. Who would've known that such a delicious treat could cause someone so much pain? ... Who could've anticipated that all they needed to fell the fearsome Landshark was a bowl of ice cream? The poor woman had become unresponsive, just staring forward with dead eyes. Eventually, as nervous as the employees were, they had to confront Rachel. To check on her wellbeing, as well as to ask her to leave. So. There's that. Exit Scene.

Remus sat back and studied their work. Considering what Ella had said and where they could put such things. If they wanted to get really fancy with decorating that kind of stuff they could probably find a large supply of popsicle sticks by asking around. A bit on cleaning them off and sticking them into the sand could certainly make some draw bridge looking constructs. That kind of detailing was a good distance away yet. There was still much to do. He looked over at her when he was ready to respond. "That many, huh? I knew there were a lot but you would think people would stick more to a handful of proven successful designs. Then again I suppose most everyone has that desire to expand and build up stuff." Of course that was also why there were plenty of bad designs out there too. Ella had also approved the idea he had. So now he just had to figure out how to make it seem like it fit in with the design theme she had in mind. He looked towards the water and picked up one of the larger shovels.
After a glance towards where the moon was he made a guess as to how much time they had before the tide would start to rapidly come in. That was the time they needed to beat if these decorative towers were going to be successful. Just to be on the safe side though he started to dig out the sand a few inches away from where the tide's high point should reach. The dug out sand was piled up as a dam to block the water in case they took too long. He worked fast until he got closer to the edge of the foundation. At that point he slowed down considerably. Being very precise as to how much sand and where he dug out and tossed away. Before long the foundation and castle itself was placed upon a nice one foot tall cliff face of sorts which wrapped around it. Remus had even packed it in and added rock face like details. He had made two major outcroppings for towers. Both had level spots on them for sand to be placed for said towers. There were a number of smaller ones for decor to stir up the water once it was let in.
The extra sand from all his digging got put into small pails and watered down to make a nice solid pack. Then he would upend it onto the flat foundation spot on the two taller outcroppings. The tower from the taller of the two grew until it was taller than main castle. The top of which received a lot of work from smaller tools until it started to look like the tower top, unneeded for defense, was serving the castle's lord as a lighthouse. A little imagination could easily place a raging oil inferno into the open top. The shorter tower was only two thirds the height of the other and was squared rather than round. With each don Remus began building up the sand walls connecting all three structures. Two arching walkways at two different heights connected the taller tower to the main castle, while just one at a different height than those two connected the shorter tower to the castle. A fourth connected the two towers together. After Remus finished the last of the detailing he poked the walkways here and there to make sure they were solid packed enough to not crumble from little shocks. he nodded and then looked up and Ella. "All done here. What do you think?" He commented while looking over what all she had manged to make.

XXXIt seemed that both of them had intended to perform with the utmost elegance and astonishing display. Yui had stood her place, her frame sinking a shallow couple inches within the inflated battlefield. Her pale blue hues would follow the figure of her opponent, one that distanced himself from the field while tossing his brilliantly golden spear aside. This match would be far different from the prior, merely in the concept that they wouldn't be utilizing their weapons. It boiled down to their natural abilities, though she did have an advantage via her ability to fly... She would try to keep herself grounded, though if it came to it she wouldn't hesitate to use all she had at her disposal. It was his turn to mount the field, and he would do so with a most miraculous display. While side panning the beach, her eyes would follow him as he busted out in a run. If she had jumped to conclusions, she might have thought he would try to repeat the past with a simple jump. That, however, would not be the case. No, instead, with the deep crimson spear, he would vault himself onto the field in a display of peak physical finesse. Such a display was truly impressive and wasn't one that the mere common beachgoer could accomplish. This match would certainly be one for the history books and the first of many duels between the Reveley and Lioncourt families. It was the sight of him taking to the field that her blood would begin pumping. Perhaps it was excitement, or simply her family blood edging her on to thrive for victory. Though she had not the same arrogant words that he held, instead... The sanctity of their match called for nothing on her part. Garret would start with the advantage, being in the position to launch the serve that would begin their match. Positioned in the center, Yui would bend her knees to duck in preparation to leap in whatever direction he chose. Just as he had, she would bow. Both as a sign of respect and to symbolize she was ready. She was ready.
The match was truly one to commit to memory, one that held much more intensity than many of her own sparring sessions. In fact, it was the closest thing she had ever come to fighting someone that wasn't in her family. To think, such a silly game could hold such significance. The concept of time had vanished the moment that the ball was served, and the exchange of retaliations and spikes was both rapid and savage. The two clearly were not a pair of run of the mill simpletons. No, they were certainly highly trained and capable, and that was made ever so clear with each strike that returned the ball to another. Yui managed to keep herself grounded through the duration of the first match, and still managed to strike the ball to victory with a powerful spike, unassisted by her avian abilities. She knew he wanted more though, that he wanted to see what she was capable of as a faunus and how much it could change the heat of battle. So, following her serving the second ball, the exchange was a quick one. Back and forth only a few times, Yui finally took the chance to take to the sky when he had knocked the ball too far out of reach. Perhaps if he wasn't careful, it would've gotten him out. It was both to his fortune and misfortune that the Valkyrie took to the sky. Intercepting the ball, the exchange quickly came to an end as she struck the ball with a powerful spike. He had no chance of relation, with the force and speed that it was returned with. That was indeed the benefit of using one's own weight and momentum as a whole to strike it. The unblockable spike. The sky was growing dark, and thus her advantage would begin to slip from her grasp. It was the final match and his serve. The Valkyrie would remain in the sky for a duration, striking each ball with the intent to take him out each time, but... Garret seemed to pull the impossible, perhaps with the aid of a darkening sky, and managed to strike the Valkyrie out in one of their most intense collisions throughout the entire game.
Game. Set. Match.
In one final display of grace, she would dive down to the field, only to release her wings at the last second. Such a shift of momentum would leave her bounding upwards once again, over the net, and landing in front of him. As she took her landing, it was clear that she had begun to exert herself. Soft pants could be heard as she caught her breath, calming down in his presence as he announced their results. It was something she was proud of. "You've done me a great honor in this match... Surely, if the sun wasn't setting, it would be far from over... Nonetheless, ... Thank you." As if in unison, she would also bow towards the man. It was certainly a close match, and her wings only proved to be an advantage for so long. He held remarkable skill, one that seemed to defy her own advantages. To his following remark, her wings would flick before tucking and resting behind her back. "I think that can be arranged. .. It may have been an unfair advantage, but even so. You held up remarkably." The compliment was well earned on his part, for it wasn't often that a land dweller could keep up with someone that could take to the skies. Certainly, if this was an insight into how a true match went between them ... Well, it would certainly be one for the ages.
Suddenly. Ball. First instinct was to bat the ball away with a smiting force, similar to the force she used to score her second point. However... One must be able to determine real life from the battlefield, and it was only with that she could refrain from smacking it away. Instead, she caught the ball firmly between the palms of her hands. The question remained though, why? Yui's curious gaze would examine the ball, angling her hands to give it a thorough look over before her confused gaze focused on Garret who followed with an explanation. It was... Some sort of trophy? ... Rewards weren't something often taken by the Lioncourt, they were raised as icons and trophies for others to claim. ... Thus, the only object of sentiment until now was her bear, that defined her hidden childish nature. "... And when that day comes again, I will heed the call of your challenge. Near.. or far.." It was an odd one, their exchange was. Their competition had ignited something that was long lost within her, something that she only felt the last time that she fought against her brother. Adrenaline, fire, passion... Alive. As she stood there before him, holding the ball that acted as a catalyst for their contest... It felt as if her mask was breaking. The exterior of a doll, the icon of the Lioncourt... A crack, right across her face. Something that tarnished her perfection, and showed that she was still untamed... To the faintest extent. It was difficult to comprehend, but... The arrogance in his smile seemed to be infectious, from a smile that could shatter mirrors, it seemed it had tried to shatter her glass case. "I pray our next encounter is one uninterrupted, lest another messenger comes. Such a disturbance may not be tolerated a second time." Though having a touch of a more serious tone, it was... As if she was trying to joke, or make some sort of amusing statement. She was trying, and that had shown with the faintest smile curled up towards her right cheek ... Another crack in her mask.
She too would jump to the sand below. It seemed the mood that she dropped in her attempt had caused a more drastic change than she had anticipated, whether caused by her words or something else. The fiery arrogance had left his hues, but the air was still filled with a wave of seriousness that staticed through her as if a ripple of emotion. The mood had completely changed as Garret continued, in a sense that was ... Touching, in an honorable way. Her expression softened, losing it's near chiseled form as her smile vanished and her gaze softened against his own serious one. With his words, it pierced right through just about every barrier she had placed. A message that was meant directly for her core. Something had caught her, and wouldn't let her break away. It was until she saw something flying towards her, right between her eyes... A rose, that broke all tension in the air, and was caught a mere moment before it could brush against her nose. The ball had shifted to her left hand, and she now held a white rose with her right hand before her very eyes ... Now that she had returned to reality, she would look focus on the beauty of it. ... She had always had a fondness of white roses in her mother's garden, but... Why here? ".. Garret... Until next time." Her words were soft, nearly a whisper as she shifted her gaze from the gifted rose to her opponent who has now turned away. There was no need to speak anymore, he had said his part... And she wasn't much of one for words. He was leaving, just like that? With merely a wave? Yet she could only stand there and watch as he shrank in the distance. As the sun continued to set, and the moon came out to greet them... She would simply stand there, a white rose in one hand, the ball in another. ".. Perhaps a play on destiny, or fate... Whether near or far ... Tomorrow, or backed to the end of our days... I will turn against Death's doorstep if I must. Is this what Sensui meant? To live?' It was hard to say. It wasn't like she could ask him. Now that Garret was gone, a soft sigh would escape her lips as she brushed the back of her right hand against her cheek. Though to anyone else, nothing would happen... For her, she was pushing her mental mask back together, the cracks slipping away. 'I only hope I'm still myself when that day comes, Garret Reveley.'

It was nice to be free from the confines of a building and have open air all around him. Especially nature. He much preferred this to being anywhere else honestly; he was most at home in the wilds, not civilization. His mood had noticeably improved as well as he walked with renewed energy and vigor, going faster than his usual gait despite carting his old leader around. He had a very specific spot in mind as he walked, purposefully keeping it and himself quiet for the most part as they traveled. At least for the first part of their journey. He wanted to both enjoy the peace and clean air for himself, and for her to. She had been cooped up in that infirmary far too long for his liking and needed this even more than him. And for once he wasn't really worried about running into Nova. She had gone on an extra credit thing that he found out about while traveling, having accidentally found that info when he overheard someone talk about a wolfpup and cat duo, so he was without fear of her for now. How long she would be gone he had no clue so he was content to enjoy his freedom while it lasted and hopefully create as much distance between the two of them as he could.
Nearing their destination was when Feralis would finally speak. "So when you said something about wanting to go down a hill like a daredevil and your wheelchair being able to work in water, were you serious? Because if you were do I have the spot for you." He would say with a smile, teasing her a little by just mentioning those details. He wanted to know if her wheelchair was truly capable of such things... though if it weren't he had other ideas of how they could work this out. They were decent hints to his plan but the spot he had in mind was not something a person could truly prepare for. They were currently going uphill one of the larger hills in Vale, Feralis being able to with his natural strength, and their destination was the top. It was an interesting hill for one reason Maria may not know of; it had a perfect ramp from peak to the pier and into the ocean itself. Had anyone tried doing this before? Probably, but he never heard of it so it likely never worked but it also means no one died from attempting it. Maybe. He didn't really keep up with the news for the most part so he may have just missed that. Nor was he one to really read up on the history of places usually. All he knew was that it was a natural and non man made path that was the straight shot perfect ramp so... he assumed it was on the hush hush if anything.
He would wheel her all the way up to the hill before stopping, having her facing the way down he intended for them as he smirked. "It was funny you even mentioned going down a hill because that was my first thought. But when you mentioned water capabilities... this hill seemed like a fun one to do." He would say, smile evident in his voice as he took a moment to look forward. It was a clear day with a little breeze, the sun was out... though it was a bit cold. No one was really on the beach from what he could see... but then they were pretty high up those black dots may be people. He really wasn't sure. He did his best to hide the weathers effect on him; wolf form had the benefit of a fur coat for this, and he had neglected to pack anything warmer. 'A good dose of adrenaline should change that though.' He thought to himself with eagerness. The path down was mostly clear, though of course it had a few obstacles, and the way to the beaches pier was clear enough for Maria to see. He would lean in to whisper into her ear. "So I had the perfect idea; we both use your wheelchair as our ride down this hill, past the pier, and into the water. That is if you are up to the challenge." He would taunt her lightly while revealing his plan to her. It was dangerous, stupid, risky and would probably end with one of them being hurt... so it was the perfect team Mako plan. He wanted his leader to live, to feel the surge of adrenaline they had whenever they set out to do things again... he also liked the idea of using her wheelchair as a ride down from here so he could feel adrenaline again too. His mention of it being a challenge was a rhetoric question, meant to taunt and tease the possibility to her. While he really wanted to do it... if she didn't he would listen and choose a safer route for a ride down. But he also wanted to spark that competitive drive all members of Team Mako had. "So whats it going to be leader, down the Ramp of Doom or the kitty slope? We can prove tin can wrong about what your limits are, and have a story to brag to Mittens once she reawakens." He would ask with a smirk, holding onto her seat as he moved his head so they would be staring eye to eye. Playfully challenging her and seeing if she would be willing to relive the old days, if only a little. He completely believed they could do this and mostly end up fine. Whether it went perfectly... well that was another story. Just attempting it though was all he wanted.
