Transcended Sailor Ida

Finding herself suddenly in a box of a room, the walls and floor all crystal, had been a terrifying experience. Ida was not proud of how she had broken down in those first few moments, convinced that somehow she was back on Alkaid again, unsure how she’d gotten there, or even if the year of freedom had been anything more than a dream. It had taken her a while and some careful breathing till her head stopped spinning before it had registered that this room was very different from the one that had been her prison for so long. A careful examination showed no way in or out, which had only begged the question… How had she gotten there? Who or what had brought her? And why?

Things were even more confusing, and alarming, when little Tachibana had suddenly appeared to join her, the two Koronis stuck together in that windowless room. One bright spot to the experience was that with someone else to focus on, Ida was better able to push back her fear and panic. She had to hold herself together, for Tachibana’s sake. There would be time later to process it all. Now was the time for thought.

Unfortunately, there was no ready answers to her questions and no freedom in sight. It became apparent after a while that her energy was slowly leaking from her, leaving her and her young companion tired. Ida didn’t know how much time passed. It bothered her, more than just for the time lost, but for the things she had left undone. Athene hadn’t come home the night before and she’d meant to go out looking for him. Now she wondered if he’d fallen into the same trap she had, or whatever this all was. Was he here somewhere, wherever here was? Somewhere on the other side of these walls?

The only break in the silence and monotony, finally, came in the form of sudden spiderweb cracks that raced across the floor. Before she could rightly register what was happening, the floor abruptly shattered and the two senshi were falling, Ida desperately reaching for her young friend.

#1 - (4 +2 -2 = 4)
Quote:
4-7: You had a bit of a rough landing but you are wholly all right. You manage to make it to your feet and start your trek without any major issue.

Ida hit the ground on her side, smacking hip and shoulder into the hard floor as all the air rushed from her lungs. The sound of shattering and falling glass sounded all around her as she struggled to draw breath and brown eyes cast about to find herself surrounded suddenly by… people. Senshi, Knights, Nega officers… so many of them falling from above with cries of surprise and fear from many. Sore, tired and aching, the eternal rolled and pushed herself to her feet, more or less intact, which was a blessing. Tachibana was lost somewhere in the press of people and though Ida tried, there wasn’t time to search for her, because everyone was pressing towards the singular path off the platform they had all fallen onto as the floor beneath them showed the same inclination to break apart.

Ida was pressed towards the path with the wave of others and she scrambled to not be knocked down, still casting about her for familiar faces. This looked like no place she had ever seen in all her time as a senshi, and she couldn’t help wondering yet again what was going on.

#2 - (2 +2 -2 = 2)
Quote:
1-3: You choose the straight, narrow path. It isn’t a hard trek, but you have to be careful so you don’t fall off.

The sky was one of the stranger parts of this place, though the white, floating path was strange enough. Ida couldn’t help sneaking frowning glances up at it as the crowd pressed onwards. She was jostled from time to time, her distraction in looking for people she knew making her vulnerable.

Once, she felt her foot turn and only barely managed to keep from overbalancing and falling. A terrified glance downwards showed her nothing but darkness and smoke, waiting to swallow her whole. How far down did it go? What held them up? More questions she had no answer to.

Suddenly, the path branched, people breaking off to follow whichever one seemed most logical to them. Ida hesitated as she glanced down each, her eyes sweeping over stairs that led up and down and a path that stretched onwards. None of them seemed much more promising than the others, but she didn’t like the idea of stairs into nothingness either. Her lips pressed into a line, the Transcended followed the group down the narrow center path, hoping the narrowness of it, and perceived risk, were because whomever had brought them here wanted them to take the easier paths into danger. It was hard though, watching her feet to keep on the path while not letting herself get caught up in looking down into the darkness and the vertigo waiting there.

Someone cried out as they weren’t so lucky and slipped, and Ida shuddered, blinking back tears.

#3 - (5 +2 = 7)
Quote:
4-7: A moderate wind pushes against you; it is strong enough to cause you some discomfort and forces you to brace yourself. You lose some time, but through concentration and willpower you are able to proceed without too much difficulty.

It wasn’t long before the wind picked up, which was strange enough in this place. There was no sun, where did the wind come from?

The harder she pushed against it, the harder it pushed back and Ida struggled to make progress forward. There wasn’t much of an option to go backwards, though, even if she wanted to. A glance back confirmed that the crumbling was proceeding behind the straggling line of people.

None of this made sense. Why were they all here, anyway? Wherever here was… It was like the ground urged them forward, threatening to dump them into the abyss behind, while the wind refused them passage forward, making them struggle for every foot gained. She didn’t like it and a stubborn set can to her jaw, brown eyes narrowed against the wind.

Chibi Super Sailor Oort

Whilst it wasn't something that Oort would admit to out loud, he couldn't help but feel relieved when Oberon mentioned that Skadi had gone on ahead.

He nodded when Oberon asked after both himself and Vi, about to ask where Chara had got to, but the other had stepped back as he opened his mouth and as Oort's eyes followed, he found himself spotting the other part of their small group in question in the process of trying to help someone else.

"I'm fine" he said, after Vi had piped up to admit that he was fine, and it was even true - well at least it was in so much as anything about this weird place was fine–

And whilst a part of him couldn't help but wish that Tomlin was there too, a larger part of him was also relieved that the ginger star cat wasn't trapped here in wherever here was.

He nodded when Oberon asked both him and Vi to move up in front of him as he stepped out onto the narrow path proper, a part of him wondering if he should have offered to use his magic first.

He wasn't expecting the wind to suddenly pick up the way that it did, Oberon's reflexes quicker than his as his friend reached out to grab his wrist.

The bit that hit the part of the path where he was didn't seem too bad though and whilst it pushed him back slightly, it didn't really do so by that much.

Lace // Corrupt Guardian Cat

The breeze only a pain for the cat because she was sensitive to the noise and push of it. With Adria helping her though, the kitten was able to stay relatively calm with him.

His quirk about her being a chaos kitty made her ears lay flat and a trouble expression come about.

"If you fall, then I fall with!" The kitten dug her claws in as gently as she could, but with enough grip to let the young man know that she would not be giving him up. "You're a senshi! Senshi are all precious to cats, of all kinds!" She meowed, "Even...Even if we aren't on the same side...." She was obviously to close to being nice for her to even think of sides. "But...but thank you...for being nice back...back to me...."

Altais // Senshi of Shockwaves

Altais made a small sound as Julienne's hat flew off and the senshi literally went to grab it, his foot resting on the edge. A puff of wind blew the senshi over and he did his best to let the cat go if she wanted.

"Julienne!" His eyes widened as he felt himself falling back, though his fingers grasped her hat. "Jump off!"

Allison: 1 - 1 = 1 [all of the wind]

With Chris' hand clenched tightly in her own, Alli slowly made her way up the stairs leading upwards. Every step had them drenched in more and more darkness, the strange smoke billowing and the glittery pieces in the sky seemed almost brighter as they went higher.

"Don't apologize," she said with a smile, trying very hard to be brave and not make Chris worry about her.

But being brave didn't exactly come easy when a strong gust of wind and a loud humming noise bombarded them. Chris pulled her closer and she raised an arm to try shield herself from any possible flying debris and lost her footing, causing her to stumble backwards and onto her butt, wrenching her hand from Chris' so she didn't pull him down with her. She scrambled against the force and pushed herself up to her feet as quickly as she could to avoid any incoming panic from her partner in this mess.

"I'm okay, I swear," she offered before he had a chance to fret over her.

The sound of twisting and the shriek had her instantly grabbing a hold of his hand again and waiting- there was no way she wanted anything to do with that noise. She looked behind them to see the path crumbling, and it made her stomach twist into a knot realizing the only way to go was towards whatever it was that was waiting for them at the end of the path.

Knight Andronicus

"Straight path it is," she said, guiding him along it with care. It was narrow and potentially brittle, but she was sure of foot. Fourteen years of ballet actually amounted to something, hey look at that. A breeze began as they moved, turning into a gale of wind that buffeted her.

No matter, she had a staff of gales, she could ---

Wind caught under her or there was a combination of boots on the path or something. One moment she was reaching out in front to summon her staff to try to turn the gale on itself, the next she felt herself falling, falling, falling---

"Lex!" she shouted as her feet slipped from the path and she crashed onto it with her side. Pain blossomed in her left side and she scrambled to hold herself up on the path with her arms. Not good, not good!

Sailor Skadi: 1 + 0 = 1 [so much wind]

Okay, maybe this wasn't so bad after-all! One foot after the other, Skadi slowly made her way along the narrow path that loomed ahead of her. She took her time, glancing down at her feet every once in a while to make sure that she didn't misstep or stray too close to either side. She silently hoped to herself that the rest of their small group would catch up to her soon so she would know they were all okay. Although there was always the chance that they took one of the other two paths...

Distracted by her thought, Skadi was taken by surprise when the huge gust of wind quite literally swept her off her feet. She desperately tried to steady herself but the force caused her to stumble backwards and she toppled right over, nearly falling off the path entirely. Her fingers gripped at the edge of the path, her eyes wide with horror as she stared down into the black abyss beneath them. What would have happened if she ended up down there? She glanced behind her, seeing other people fall from all 3 of the paths due to the gust of wind, some of them not as lucky as she was.

All of a sudden a wave of panic washed over her, she was sure she would never be able to unsee those people falling to their certain doom.

Her chest was heaving with every breath as she shakily pushed herself to her feet. Right foot first, then left. She had to keep going.

Transcendent Knight Bifrost

The wind started up and Bifrost summoned her shield to block the worst of it. She fell to her knees for a moment, the wind almost too much for her even with the shield.

"Careful Midgard!" she said over the howl, still holding his hand. "Don't fall off!"

Midgard, Knight of Chronos (+2)

He was concerned about what they might face when they got to the end of the line, whenever that may have been, because it was quickly becoming apparent that there was no going back.

Everything behind them had crumbled and one wrong step would send them all spiraling into the darkness.

It didn't take much for the wind to knock off his feet when Bifrost was brought to her knees. His own health wasn't in the best of shape and he worried that it was too evident as the continued on this trek.

Knees hit the ground and he grit his teeth against the jolting that seemed to hit his chest, stitches aching. "I'm okay, I'm okay." He attempted to reassure her, forcing himself back onto his feet. "Keep going."

"Dene!" said the blue haired girl, relieved to see a familiar face. "I'm okay! Though this is getting really unpleasant..." Iduna looked down the path as a breeze started to pick up. She continued down the path.

Sailor Skoll

She was progressing pretty well, she thought. To where exactly, Skoll wasn't sure, but she was moving towards something. Wind began to push at her, a slow breeze at first until it grew into a gale force wind. Skoll planted her feet and rooted herself, pulling a cool Wonder Woman pose to try to keep from being blown over.

Which would have worked, if she had a shield.

Skoll did not, however, have a shield. Not even a plastic one.

The wind blasted her over and she landed heavily on her a**. More curses in Gaelic flew from her mouth and the senshi of the pack snarled at the fog.

She was so done.

She could hear Themisto's voice calling her and she lifted her head, momentarily distracted from the small senshi. That appeared to be all that was needed to be separated from the senshi.

"Indua?" She spun in a circle looking for the small girl.

Before she could really look she was knocked off her feet and fell further behind.

Sailor Cassiopeia

When the winds picked up, she yelped, holding up her free arm to try and block the air from her face so she could still try to keep her eyes open. It didn't knock her down at least, but she was highly tempted to hide behind the much bigger Valjean. The wind was also not especially nice to her uniform, and her cheeks went red when she realised how they lifted and twisted her soft layers, showing off the fact her uniform beneath was only just a simple white one-piece. Maybe she'd be lucky and the guy she was walking in front of wouldn't notice...

Sailor Morgan

While the Guinevere seemed to manage the wind well enough, Morgan found herself having a hell of a time. She gritted her teeth as the wind whipped around her, pulling off her hood and ripping at her half-skirt, half-cage, and hair. The black and red locks ripped and thrashed behind her, her eyes watering from the strength of the wind. It was enough to knock her off her feet a few times, yelping as she clung to the pathway, her eyes catching on the endless darkness beneath that seemed to just wait for her to fall.

Morgan snarled as she pushed herself back up, pulling some of the cloth of her hood around to try and shield her nose and mouth to keep from suffocating as air was shoved into them.

Guardian Cat Hania

Hania's tail swished even harder and he frowned. "I'm not sure what is happening either but if you still can't transform when we get out of here then we will figure it out." He said, pitching his voice as soothing as he could. Hopefully the chibi would be able to transform once they were all safely back in the city but for now he just wanted her to keep calm and as relaxed the best she could be considering the situation. After all he didn't like seeing any of his Senshi afraid. "Yes, these are two more Senshi that I helped awaken. Sailor Isolde and Sailor Kaye." He nodded his head to each of the Senshi as he introduced them.

When the wind picked up Hania wasn't moved, not when he was currently cuddled in Isolde's arms after all. What the wind caused however had him jerking a bit in alarm. "ALEX!" He cried out in horror seeing the child get pushed off the path and down into the abyss. The guardian's eyes were wide and he was close to squirming out of Isolde's arms to follow after Alex when Kaye's words broke through his tunnel vision. "Keep each other safe!" The black cat called after Kaye when she went over the edge much to his horror. On one hand it meant that Alex wouldn't be alone and that Kaye could help her, on the other hand it meant they both had fallen.

It was only after a new Senshi(Lacrimosa) spoke up to them that Hania realized he was shaking and had started to purr in an unconscious effort to try and sooth both himself and Isolde. "No, not okay." He said and he looked the young woman over. "One of my chibi's, untransformed, was pushed over the side thanks to the wind and another of my Senshi just went after her." It took him a moment before he was over his shock of what happened to ask after the new Senshi. "Are you alright? I'm Hania."
