Eternal Chaldene

His shoulder gave a bit at the shove but the eternal wasn't bothered by it, honestly he was expecting the super senshi to just punch him. It wasn't that she was violent...and yet she was. She had a habit of hitting people even if they were friends. It wasn't meant out of anger, he knew that, it was some sort of affectionate thing along with her being upset at him for vanishing, even if it wasn't his fault.

"A leash....really?" He questioned with a raised brow at her. Toying with one of the piercings in his bottom lip he shook his head. "You do know I'm older than you - right?" The eternal questioned, sometimes he really wondered about her...like now.

Watching her decide which route she was going, having already decided which way he wanted to go, he really wasn't surprised when she decided he was going a different route. What did surprise him when she gave and decided to go the way he was planning to go, until he heard her mutterings. He really shouldn't be surprised anymore...he also was going to have to make sure she didn't decide to get a collar and leash for him....

What he failed to notice, as he was rather busy with a certain blond super senshi, was a negaverse lieutenant following after them.

Sailor Hamal

Hamal had finally found her way onto a path, the same one everyone else was taking, and it didn't take long before there was a split in the path and a choice to be made. It wasn't just a chance between two choices...it was harder - it was three. Tapping her slippered foot the senshi of talismans took the time to look around her, braids moving to and fro as her head turned this way and that. She was looking for Athene, whom she had been locked in a white room with.

He would be hard to miss, she was sure of it, since he stood out with his long plaited hair. When she did finally spot him, thanks to the hair, she headed his way and made to follow him. "I'm staying with you...if you don't mind." She spoke softly, just above a whisper.

"I really hope you don't mind...I don't know anyone else here and none of my family are here." She would have noticed if Seung or Hyeon were here and Terry even stood out, he had glowing markings on him.

Super Sailor Myrrha

The surrounding wasn't improving Myrrha's mood. She tried to be respectful and not jostle too many people in her progress on the pathway but it could not be said the same of others. At one point Myrrha almost was spun completely around by someone and had to act fast to recover her footing. With a scowl now on her face the woman pushed forward and glared at those that tried to pass her. She wasn't willing to speed up her pace anymore.

As she hurriedly along at her own pace Myrrha did notice the different colored smoke clouds and thought about what was perhaps going on. As she and others came to a split pathway Myrrha jostled her way past others and quickly chose the straight path. Who could say with certainty which path was correct? All she knew was that there were less people choosing the straight path and so that was the one that she wanted. Checking the width of the narrowing path Myrrha knew that she would have to move extra carefully. She really didn't find the idea of falling into the unknown abyss appealing in the slightest.

9 + 1 = 10

10 - You were fortunate enough to land near the pathway and manage to get a good head start.
1-3: You choose the straight, narrow path. It isn’t a hard trek, but you have to be careful so you don’t fall off.

Jeremy

They needed to move? Didn’t he know it. “I know,” he said simply, reaching one arm behind the woman to keep her close. Maybe it was habit, or some instinct, but he seemed to want to give her some measure of comfort.

He managed to catch her gaze and flash a quick smile. “At least your not the weirdest dressed person here, right?”

It wasn’t the time for joking, probably, but that meant that it was the perfect time for joking.

Jeremy was used to rushes of adrenaline on the job but even then he usually had some idea of what came next.

Here? He had no idea.

He tried to keep his eyes on Myles—or, Caia—but the crowd had separated them enough. He just had to trust that his brother would be fine; for now, he could worry about himself, and Anne-Marie.

Oberon

“You can do this, Skadi,” Oberon skidded to a halt as he finally came across one of his group. Skadi looked like she had tears in her eyes, and Oberon felt a strange twist of anger towards those who had caused them to be in this situation. “Adventure beckons,” he said quietly, reaching out to brush a hand against Skadi’s shoulder, giving her a little boost of morale and energy. It wasn’t going to be much, but it was better than nothing.

Although, the second the magic left him, he felt a sudden drain on his own energy. Was is because they were in this place?

“Go on ahead. I’ll catch up as soon as I make sure I find the others,” he told her, flashing her a grin and showing her a thumbs up. “I promise.” He hated the idea of leaving her on her own, but he had to make sure the others caught up as well.

And with that he turned to head back into the crowd running the opposite direction, trying to find -

“Chara!” Oberon called when he found the angry senshi of chocolate. “Are you okay? You need to keep moving. Catch up with Skadi. I’m gonna find Oort and Vi and I’ll be right there,” he promised, glad that Chara seemed to be physically okay, but he wasn’t stupid enough to think anyone wasn’t scared.

He knew they needed to keep moving. Hopefully Oort and Vi were at the head of the group… and yet… there was a sickening feeling eating away at him as he glanced off the edge of the path.

There weren’t too many left in the wake of the crumbling pathway, which meant they needed to move. They must have gone up ahead.

“Move. Go,” Oberon told his friends, grabbing Chara's wrist to push him up in front of him, and he was going to push his back all the way to safety if he had to.

Eternal Sailor Athene

As it happened Hamal found him first, the white and purple garbed senshi making her way over to him.

His lips quirked up in a small, but relieved smile, glad that she seemed okay before nodding slightly when she mentioned that she would be staying with him.

"I don't mind" he said quietly and he didn't, because if the two of them stayed together then at least he wouldn't have to worry.

Well okay, make that not worry quite so much - because the splintering platform was plenty to be worried about.

"I don't mind at all" he repeated, hand gesturing to what appeared to a stairway of some sort, the stairs leading up and most importantly away from the cracking platform.

"Should we head that way?"

Captain Reinerite

There had been a singular narrow pathway that had led from the platform that they had all appeared to have landed on, and which was in the process of disintegrating.

Or at least seemed to be - not that she was planning to stay long enough to find out.

She wasn't able to spot Bloodstone as she made her way down the trembling narrow path under a 'sky' with strange clouds of blues and purples of greens.

Not that Reinerite was really paying much attention to the sky, the chunks falling behind her of much greater concern, as she put on as much speed as she dared.

And as she did so she could only hope that Bloodstone had made to the decision to get away from the platform too - no she was sure that the other had gotten away, because like her he was one of Aurostibite's recruits and her General was not someone who was in the habit of recruiting idiots.

The path split and Reinerite paused close to the narrow path that was the closest to where she was, grey eyes once again scanning back to see if she could catch sight of Bloodstone.

Mauvian Liryn (human form)

Liryn heard the voice first, shifting almost automatically to look in the direction that it had come from even as the cracks on the platform continued to radiate outwards.

Purplish eyes looked down and met coppery yellow, Liryn giving the other mauvian a nod to note that he had seen him and then Tomlin was running, a flash of ginger streaking across the platform as he made his way towards what appeared to be stairs leading upwards...

Liryn ran after him - well did his best to - because whilst this form he was in came with longer legs and hands, it wasn't really quite as good as weaving in and out of people.

But Liryn would manage, because he had no intention in letting Tomlin leave him behind, following after the ginger mauvian as the other continued to get ever closer to the stairs.

It took him longer than he would have liked to locate Reinerite. She wasn’t as tall as him, but her hair was bright enough that he was finally able to spot her with her snowglobe staff.

“Are you hurt?” he asked as he reached her side, looking his companion over for any injuries. There were bound to be a lot of people injured, but Bloodstone didn’t really care about anyone other than those under his General. They were essentially teammates and were less likely to stab each other in the back in order to rise up in power.

He waited until he made sure she was okay enough to keep moving, and continued along the path.

Chibi Super Sailor Oort

Out out those that he had been trapped with, the blond-haired civilian - Vi - was the one that Oort spotted first as the other picked his way over to him.

But whilst the cracking platform suggested that they really needed to find somewhere that was - well - not splintering beneath them, Oort was reluctant to leave because the others had to be around somewhere and he didn't want to leave them behind.

He did his best to scan the faces around him as he followed after Vi, a part of him glad that whilst his landing had been of the awkward variety, he didn't seem to have sprained anything.

But despite doing his best to try and spot
Oberon, Chara and Skadi amongst the faces, he couldn't see them - at least not initially.

A part of him was debating suggesting that Vi go on ahead - that he would catch up - when he thought he heard a familiar voice.

The flash of familiar auburn hair, proved that he had heard right, Oort's hand raising in a wave, his pace hastening as he called out "Oberon we're over here" and then as he continued to cross the distance separating them added "I have Vi with me."

Hopefully Oberon would have seen where the others had got to, especially as Oort could see what looked to be a way out in the form of a nearby straight path - and whilst it seemed narrower than he would have liked, it wasn't as if he could really be picky and was at least a way off and away from the cracking platform.

Vi

The fall had been terrifying. It felt like Vi was going to lose his breath, and even his heart as they plummeted into the abyss. He couldn't even produce a sound with how shellshocked he was by the sudden change of scenery, wincing when hard land was finally found. His head was spinning, his bottom sore from the rough fall. What had happened...?

Unsteadily, he began to rise up, naturally looking around for the new companions he'd made. But none of them were in sight. In fact... hardly anyone was at all! Oh but wait, he did notice someone as he began to shuffle along the surface that was.. quite threatening stability wise. Oort!

Carefully, he tried to make his way over to the other senshi, the ache from the fall settling in his legs a little. Everyone else must've been further ahead.... but there was no time to dawdle, or even think that much about it, as the ground began to betray him once again. Joining up with the other senshi who had gotten a late start, he encouraged Oort along at a quickened pace. Man what he wouldn't give to power up right about now...

All around them their grounding was falling and rotting dangerously. It made his racing heart thud loudly in his ears not only for running, but with how he was starting to feel the fingers of terror grip around his chest and throat.

All too quickly, paths were produced before them. And unfortunately, he couldn't really stop to look and see which one was for the best, options wise... he had to keep moving. But he did falter, looking hopefully for that specific familiar figure... but there were so many other bodies racing by him. And his height sure didn't help in his brisk search.

The straight and narrow route seemed the best bet at the moment. Just keep chugging forward. Hopefully the others would be alright.... hopefully they would be able to regroup.

Points: -3 for late start + 2 = 1 since it can't go lower than that

Danny (-1)

Okay, well... this wasn't good.

The directions seemed to split and Danny wasn't sure which way was best. Decisions weren't his strong point, especially when it involved being in really random scary places like the one he'd found himself stuck in. Mirrors were one thing, rotating platforms surrounded by a bunch of weirdos?

Yeah, okay - he needed to do a little breaking away.

Taking the stairs up seemed like the smartest route. Maybe from being so high up, he'd be able to see the exit?? One foot after the other, he worked to keep his balance as he ascended into the darkness above.

Bob (+1)

While he hadn't gotten off on the right foot (paw? foot? whichever!) he wasn't about to be the last man standing on a crumbling platform. No, he was running alongside the others, glancing over his shoulder with every step to ensure he saw his new friend in the distance - it would be tragic, to lose such a wonderful person (and snack provider) after only getting to meet them.

After all... Bob had no idea what her fridge even looked like! These were the priorities in need of focusing on!!

The path ended up splitting into three options, but there was no option, as far as Bob was concerned. Straight and narrow was the way to go - who needed extra stress in their life, anyways?

There was this feeling in her gut as she moved forward... something happened she could feel it. As she walked up the stairs she did the only thing she could do and that was to keep moving forward. She quickly made her way up hoping that she'd be able to see something from up there. But it was completely dark... so there is something up with this place after all...

5 + 1 = 6 You choose the stairs leading upwards. Maybe higher ground will grant you a better vantage? You are met with only darkness, but it is easy to skip two steps at a time and hasten your trip.

Chrysocolla
12: You choose the stairs leading downward; it takes the least energy and you are able to advance quickly.

There were people she knew all around, falling onto the pathway, voices calling out for friends and partners - it hurt her ears, and she tried to block it out, with limited success. It was just a minor adjustment, to hurl herself down the stairs with surprising grace; but it was an adjustment she made easily, and well, and Chrysocolla took a second to be pleased at her ability. This would have all seemed impossible to her, once.

--
Anakeion
3: You choose the straight, narrow path. It isn’t a hard trek, but you have to be careful so you don’t fall off.

Anakeion, to contrast, grumbled out an incoherent series of expletives while she scanned the area - Negaverse officers, Senshi, Knights, even civilians - but as far as she could tell, there were either very few Dark Mirror Senshi or none at all. (Definitely the former, actually; the petite brunette in lavender and blue and black didn't seem to be particularly aware of her surroundings, but she was still very clearly Dark Mirror, and that...well. Anakeion wasn't really sure what that meant? Maybe this was actually all just a magical mistake, if they'd taken one of their own senshi into a holding mirror too.)

The straight path seemed the least-traveled, at a quick glance. One foot in front of the other, that was all, that was simple. She could manage that.

--
Babel
6: You choose the stairs leading upwards. Maybe higher ground will grant you a better vantage? You are met with only darkness, but it is easy to skip two steps at a time and hasten your trip.

"I'm fine!" Babel called out to Idrialite, voice wavering; but she stayed pressed close to the Knight, almost clingy, almost desperate. It was understandable - she was, legitimately, more than a little terrified. It was no surprise she started moving towards higher ground, then; she just wanted to see, to know, to understand.

10: You choose the stairs leading downward; it takes the least energy and you are able to advance quickly.

The least energy was downwards, and Juliet moved along with the crowd like a ghost, barely breathing, every movement elegant. It was within her capability, even without her intent.
