Kingston smiled at everyone, then blinked at the rainbow bracelet Coco had made. "Hey cool! This one's mine? You're the best!" He slipped it on. "It's like my favorite breakfast cereal!" He grinned, tail wagging behind him. "You don't need to make a different one. I like this." When Eilwen mentioned her favorite color, his ears swiveled towards her. "Your favorite color is blue? How great! I had no idea." He really didn't. "I just thought the colors would match you well... It's a good color on you." He nodded. "But then, I think you could pull off most colors. Green might wash you out a little. Or your skin will reflect the color and make you look ill." He sighed wistfully. "Man Eilwen. You, Coco and Vanna all have such nice skin I'm so jealous." He laughed. "I'd love to make costumes for you guys. Ah ha ha! Oh man we should hit up the school's theater's costumes. That would be so much fun to play dress up." He then glanced at the bracelet that Vanna handed him. "HEY! Vanna, I really think you know me too well." He held up the bracelet he'd made for himself, and the one Vanna made, loving how similar they were. But having 2 that matched almost perfectly, Kingston was able to create some interesting looks, putting all 4 on one wrist. The dusty grey from Eilwen and the rainbow from Coco stood out nicely from the wine colored ones he and Vanna had made. He loved them all. "I wonder if they will let us take some beads back to the dorms. I kind of wanna head out of here. I mean we can stay if you guys all want to, but I have a little popcorn maker in my room and some pretty great movies. Classics, if it makes a difference. Comedy, drama, western, musicals..."

“What are big brothers for if not to occasionally swoop in and save the day? Seriously Eilwen, it was no problem, even if we’re older now and I’m not a part of the academy. I’ll always be your ‘big brother’ and I’ll always come whenever you need to me” Vanna replied. He was just glad he had been in the right place to help. Even if it had just been being a presence to lean on or being the bridge that let Mai and Eilwen met and thus let Mai know to grab Eiron when she saw him. Vanna paused and looked up again to where he had been mixing in little galaxies that slightly moved into the beads. The galaxies only really moved for about 45 seconds. In his line of work knowing different types of magic was a must, so from the moment that he had been introduced to his criminal life he had started studying and learning whatever he could get his hands on. Currently he was working on enchanting, actually now that he thought about it, he should finish up his classes at Asterion and see about getting some classes at leviathan after this whole thing was over…. Or maybe Vanna needed not to put his everything into projects that he started. He quickly hid the beads. “you can have this skin color, it makes going out during daylight hours a bi- mmm” Vanna smiled. Probably shouldn’t cuss in front of juniors even if given today’s society they had probably heard worse. Heaven’s knew that Vanna after hanging out all day with the boys tended to cuss a lot more. “Besides with neutral skin colors it means you can match better with your future significant other... or others. As for leaving. I guess we could” He was pretty sure if any other future developments occurred that Ava would be on top of it and would hopefully keep at least the seniors updated.

N-nice skin? Eilwen folded her arms on the table and hid her face in them. She would probably die if it was seen. She had always thought she was so washed out, and then those glaring red scales and...well. She thought she was an awkward bundle of awkward no matter how you looked at her. That blush only got worse when Vanna mentioned matching with future partners. She supposed she sort of did look well with Fakir at least...what was she thinking about during this mess?
She finally lifted her head up once it had cleared a bit and there was talk of heading back to the dorms. Yes, settling in for some classics and curling up in her blanket sounded nice. This day had put her through a lot and she really just wanted to go to bed and put it all behind her.
"Getting some rest sounds like a good idea to me." She nodded and hid a yawn behind her hand. The beading and settled her down quite a bit.

Coco smiled and giggled softly, she wasn't sure if Kingston meant what he said and really liked the rainbow bracelet, but it didn't really matter he was super sweet to say he liked it because it reminded him of breakfast. Coco blushed a little "Thank you." She said softly. "I was just having fun making mine, I didn't know I would make bracelets you all liked, but I'm really glad." She yawned getting tired it had been a long day first walking around the festival and then all the commotion of the lock down. Coco blinked looking down at her skin. "My skin is lots of colors, but there is nothing wrong with your skin Kingston, my one friend has blackish-grey skin and he's really nice and Calie has pretty brown skin." Coco said warmly. Coco nodded "As long as I don't have to go on a stage I wouldn't mind." She hid her face in her hands and said softly "I'd be too afraid to go before others." Coco smiled looked at Kingston's collection and her own on her wrist. Coco nodded and yawned again. "Yea let's go to your room, I'd like to snuggle up with my blanket and pillow and take a nap." Coco smiled at Vanna's remark it was nice to have those around who cared, Eilwen was lucky that Vanna cared about her so much. "That's pretty Vanna." Coco said watching the pretty stars. Coco blinked she didn't curse so she wasn't sure what word Vanna had planned to say. Coco blushed brightly and said softly "I think Calypso is really pretty and she's a beautiful shade of brown." Coco thought Eilwen was pretty in her book, but she was too shy to as so. Coco yawned and gathered the few things she had brought down with her to head up to Kingston's room to rest.

Raven smiled, glad to hear drag queens being acknowledged as performers. "Yeah, a performer... a 'female illusionist'," he said, more comfortable talking about it now that Chunli seemed happy to discuss the topic, "being a performer isn't exactly part of the job description, but I am drawn to the stage." When the chimera said she had no plans for the future, Raven frowned slightly and tried to look into her eyes. She seemed upset by it, but the demon knew so little of other cultures. "Hm... I'm sure you'll find your calling," he assured her, before looking away once more.
Raven noticed how quickly she changed the subject but that hardly bothered him; other people's problems weren't his business and he loved talking of nothing more than himself. "I find makeup an art within itself," he said theatrically, "I don't wear much most of the time, but I love painting my face and seeing how different I can look. I mean, I'm only young so I can only get better." When she mentioned a stage name, Raven hesitated. He'd tried so hard to think of one, but nothing seemed right to him. "No, not yet. But... I'm sure one will come to me before I'm old enough to perform," he said, mostly to assure himself. He looked up to flash a smile at Chunli; it was nice to have someone so interested in his passion. "I love talking about it... most people don't know what it is, so they avoid the topic. It's nice to have someone interested," he said genuinely.

Hours had passed quietly. Ava and the teachers had been circling the academy halls, wandering into the forbidden areas to retrieve items students and visitors may need. No answers had been given, and the news stations were eerily quiet. For some, this calmed them, and for others it made things worse. The unknown lurked outside, and whatever had thrown Below into distress was out there.
"I need everyone to come to the auditorium."
The announcement rang through the building, carried by Ava's firm tone. People were ushered back into the auditorium, where Ava and a few teachers stood on the stage. Ava's arms were crossed, mouth tight as she waited until the signal was given that all had been returned to the room. With a soft and tired sigh, Ava began.
"We've received news that the local safehouses and Leviathan were attacked." She paused, a hand raising to silence the already beginning murmur in the crowd. "Please, give me a moment. It isn't sure what attacked them, or they simply won't tell us, but we've extended our doors to the survivors."
"Survivors?" A faint voice from the crowd gasped. Ava nodded gravely.
"Some did not make it. We are moving everyone underground once the survivors are here. While it is not known to the public or open to students, the academy has an underground bunker, of sorts. It can fit all of us and more. Until then, I will need all hands on deck. We have not seen any sign of hostile figures, but we need to prepare the academy. I am asking all adults who are fit to help us close off the doors and windows. We've enchanted them, but in the off chance the enchantment fails we want to ensure we have it double sealed." She paused, gesturing towards Annabelle.
"Annabelle will take the younger students underground immediately. Teenagers should help Mink and I gather food and other supplies. If we band together we will get this done quickly, and in time for the survivors."
Ava made a move to leave the stage, stopping. Her head turned to view the crowd, body tense and tight. "Everything will be okay. We need to band together in these times and help our fellow friends and family. We will be okay."
With this, she headed off, and the crowd moved.
While Annabelle and Mink rounded up their groups, Kirket stayed behind to help any individuals that were too frightened or unable to assist with supply gathering. Their group slowly made their way down to the bunker after Annabelle's.
What to Do: Seniors will be helping board up the school. Only one door will be left alone for now for the survivors to come through. RNG 1-100, if you get 10-20, 40-50, or 80-90 you have finished your task and will be receiving a prize before the next meta post. Quote Yushika once you pass. If you fail, continue to RP your student helping. You may re-roll in an hour.
Freshlings should RP being escorted down the halls and into a secret passage found behind a large grandfather clock. The passage is cold and dark, though Annabelle is using a fire spell to light the way. Freshlings may speak to Annabelle.
Juniors will be helping gather materials such as food, blankets, water, and more. They will be sent across the school with teachers to watch groups. RNG 1-100, if you get 10-20, 40-50, or 80-90 you have finished your task and will be receiving a prize before the next meta post. Quote Yushika once you pass. If you fail, continue to RP your student helping. You may re-roll in an hour.
The next round will begin Jan 9th, 2017.
There may be minor updates before then to this thread, so keep an eye out while RPing.

Niamh had been busy loading her arms with bracelets, and lounging with her friends, especially Aedus. The fear and tension had mostly seeped out of the air, and she'd been able to put it from her mind.
Then the announcement rang out.
The tiny Fey lifted her head, her eyes going wide. There had been deaths? At the other safehouses? She shuddered. Who in the right mind could kill? Her eyes were wide, as she turned to Aedus.
"W-we need to help. T-to help them pack up the food and the water ... and stuff." Her voice was quiet, and not very steady, but she still seemed determined. She clambered to her feet, a touch unsteadily, and headed towards where the water bottles had been unpacked. Dealing with the water seemed very important. She kept looking back, hoping Aedus would follow. She really did not feel like being alone.

Kunibert had returned to his dorm ages ago to drop off his bracelets and his stuffed animal, and had returned with Mushroom once again at his side. This time, he had the fennekit on a shortened leash tied to his belt. He didn't want the little fellow going anywhere without him. With his backpack on as well--just in case he had to carry anything--he'd returned to the auditorium when Ava had called.
The news was...bad. Really bad. Kunibert frowned. "It's ze cannibals," he growled. "As if ve needed confirmation zat it's zem."
His roommate glared at him. Kuni blinked. He'd never seen Nai glare at someone like that. Kuni bit his tongue. "People don't need to hear that right now," Nai said softly. His voice was quiet, but his tone was harsh. Kuni stared at the ground and didn't say a word. When the seniors and adults were gathered up to board up the school, Kuni went off alone with a hammer and a stack of boards. Panic was thick in the air, and Kuni wished there was a Fey around right now. He could really do with a Fey.

Illya swallowed hard at the news, but she kept her face calm and alert. This was no time to break down. This was time to keep a stiff upper lip and be alert for anything. Even as the worst that could happen was happening, she was determined to be a little center of calm for the people around her.
She collected material for boarding up the windows and doors and set off to find some egresses and ingresses that needed blocking. As she did, she hoped that there were no innocents being locked outside.mewmew kittykat94 Just in case you want to RP with Illya right now.

Hadn't they joked about it before? She was coming. Some unknown entity to strike fear into everyone's hearts. It was a prank. It wasn't real.
But now the safehouses and Leviathan were attacked. Chunli remained stonefaced as Ava addressed the crowd. Despite the calm exterior, her heart raced faster and faster against her ribs. Survivors. There were little details, according to Ava, but that felt wrong. It felt as if everything Chunli had expected was getting twisted around. Survivors. The word refused to leave her mind. Survivors. There was an attack, adults and children would be joining them. The Survivors.
"It..." Her voice failed, barely making it past her lips. Clearing her throat, Chunli started again, "It doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would they keep what is attacking the groups secret?"
Chunli took a breath and ran a clawed hand through her hair, "Regardless, we cannot ignore Headmistress Ava's orders. I guess we shall... be collecting supplies. I will see you shortly." It wasn't clear how long their tasks would take, and Chunli didn't want to make Raven feel smothered. Though, really, she did wish to have a friend remain close by.
Leaving her newfound friend, she approached Ava and Mink, who were directing the effort to collect supplies and food. Chunli had no issue collecting two armfuls of blankets and some water, finding a decent cache of supplies that had been overlooked in the initial panic. After depositing them to the pile of growing nessecities, the Chimera stood up and clapped her hands together as if brushing off ust.
"Here, I got all I could. Uhm. How else can I help?"

When the announcement came on Vanna knew it was not quieting down reluctantly he awoke the members of his party to let them know they needed to gather back into the auditorium. However as they stood in the auditorium and listened to the news Vanna’s face cleared of all emotion. It was like he was made of stone. He should have never allowed Mai to drag him to the Haunted Hallows. He should have been back in the office to where he could oversee his men. Now he was stuck here unable to help. He clenched his hands into fists and took a couple deep breaths. No that was unfair. The boys knew that Vanna would be there but he couldn’t risk doing anything while being at the school. He knew for a fact that Fon and Yami where with them and both of them would keep him updated on the more serious injuries. Here right now he needed not to be a Boss but a big brother and a good friend… so first thing was to get the boards on the windows. He turned to Coco and Eilwen. He was reluctant to leave them considering how well they had handled just the threat of X doing something. “I should probably go help with the boards. I’ll be right back as soon as I can” Vanna replied. “We’ll get through this I promise” He didn’t add the platitudes of safely or uninjured. He wouldn’t… no couldn’t offer them, but he could make sure they all got through this alive. Picking up boards he started working on securing some of the windows and doors along with the other seniors. Busy work always seemed to distract him and before he had realized it he had already boarded up one of the doors. “And here I thought it only worked with sewing”Yushika totally forgot to quote yushi OTL... but I guess Vanna does really well with busy work XD

Harley and Baum and seemed to have gotten back just in time since everyone was being ushered back into the auditorium for another announcement. Hopefully this was all over and they could go back to their rooms. It was just a prank or something, right? As the headmaster spoke, the hybrid could feel the serious nature in their voice. This was no joke. This wasn't over, not by a long shot. "Survivors...?" Harley whispered, hands lifting to her mouth, disgusted that she even had to say that word. What was happening? All too soon the others were scrambling around as she was trying to find purchase in her mind. She needed to contribute. She needed to help so that they didn't all... "We could die here..." This was much worse than the forest. Her stomach was knotted up in a ball. "B-Baum..." Her eyes were glazed over in fear. "Please be careful." She walked off to try to help with barricading the doors and windows but the materials kept slipping through her trembling fingers.

Kappa was reluctant to listen to Ava when she ordered the students to return. That sounded like a horrible idea, honestly. Yet, the experience with how he got to the auditorium in the first place was enough for him to drag himself free from the dorm he had been allowed to stay in, teeth gritting as he traveled back to the auditorium. Of course, that instantly felt like a mistake the second Ava decided to fill them in.
Why did she have to do that?
He would have been happier if she just lied to them. Or, better, pretended not to know anything. Anything other then the truth, which held its own obscurities. He watched her, eyes growing more wild by the second.
Survivors.
That word indicated people who had survived a trauma. That meant there was some who hadn't survived. Dead. Dead dead dead deaddeadeadeaddeadead-
He was going to die.
Kappa crouched down, covering his ears once again as he tried to block out his surroundings. They were going to die, and this time he knew it for sure! It was the end! No more Claus! Or Alice! Or the other names now escaping him. Nothing. They were doomed.

Survivors. They needed to prepare. Her mom could wait. No, she had to. Lyra would want her to help, and worst of all, if she didn't and wasted her time panicking Lyra would never forgive her. Her mother was part of an academy that did great things, and she knew Lyra expected her to follow in her footsteps. Her helping could save her mother and father, wherever they were, and her siblings.
Panicking on the floor wasn't going to do jack s**t.
The hybrid pulled herself together, steeling her gaze and strengthening her jaw. Her eyes flicked over to the staff as they began ordering juniors who were able to for assistance. She took one glance at Raa, nodding gently.
"I'm going to go help." Her voice sounded numb despite her usual panicked state. That was just it, she had managed to numb herself. She knew that shortly after she'd panic and absorb the emotions she was shutting away, but right now? Right now she needed to do something. With that, she wandered off, lending her hands immediately to those who needed it. A part of her hoped Raa would join her, but another part knew that it was a miracle even she was able to help currently.

"Sur-..survivors?!" Somansh exclaimed, stuttering as he held onto Yihad's arm. What was to become of them all? The people at Levathian were supposed to be way stronger than the kids here, than her! Now to hear that whatever had happened had caused so much trauma... it was unreal! The only thing really calming her right now was Yihad, stroking her arm to keep her from going into a panic. She however wasn't going to be dead weight... but the only thing causing her to not be that was Yihad constantly trying to help her be calm. So then Yihad was dead weight at the moment. However, her friend assured her that it was okay, staying by her side and helping her complete her task before hus. Hu really was the best friend she could ever ask for, but the survivors needed to be safe! She made sure to complete her task as quickly as she could, so Yihad could get back to addressing hus own ", Time to go do your task. We have to be quick about it."
