*Kouta sighed in defeat as he was dragged backwards towards the house. Katty sure had a connective train of thought* Y-Yeah...starving... sweatdrop *Now that Kouta thought about it, his images of a peaceful and quiet entrance into college had been dashed to pieces. Oh well. This had its own charm too*

::she happily drags him back to the diningroom where Chris is sitting down, Zeki already gone i'm going to assume. Charli smiles at him and sits in her usual sit to his right, gesturing for Kouta to take a seat as well::

((Alright I'm here Jez... stop bugging me))
The doorbell to Torins house rang revealing an older woman and young man who looked to be around 19-20 years old. The woman had a sour face that perked up slightly at the sight of her brother and sister-in-law... after all nothing could cheer her up like a game of 'my son will always be better than yours'. The young man was standing bored next to her but hiding his excitement of seeing his cousin again. It had been far too long and while he had been busy his thoughts often drifted to Torin with worry.. from what he's heard from his mother Torins parents were getting worse as he got older... maybe it was time to bring up the subject of moving. He doubted Torin would go for it.. but he had to do something. As they entered he couldn't keep to smile of his face (making his normal scary dispositon... less scary sweatdrop ) at seeing Torin walk in. "Hello Uncle, Aunty.... hey Torin.. hows life?"
((Uhh Jez what are the parents names? And do I have to think of names for Kin's mom?))

((Hmm names.. I guess we should give them names Just call mine Uncle and Aunty for now.. I'll think of something later. And its about time you got on!!))
Torin had walked in after hearing the bell to see his Aunt and cousin... like Kin he couldn't keep the smile off his face as he rushed over and well... glomped him "KIN!!! Your here! How are you? Did you have a good trip? How's school been going? I hope your not working too hard.. you need time for fun! Are you dating anyone yet? *smacks playfully* And I told you to stop making the scary face to scare people away! Please tell me you have friends that don't look like there in a gang??"
((I think I made her green.. I can't remember oh well))
His mother was standing there looking mildly horrified and cleared her throat "Torin..." she gritted out between he teeth "Is that how we greet relatives... and you've ignored you aunt. Stop being rude and remember your manners!"
As if a switch had been turned he lept off of Kin, his relaxed face replaced by one of stoic politeness that had been drilled into him, bowing slightly "I appoligize Aunt, Kin I was caught up in my own excitement. It's been far too long since you've joined us for pleasentries. Please let me take your coats and we can ajourn to the sitting room.. houer'derves ((Ack I know I spelled that wrong)) will be served shortly." With that he took there coats and immediatly went into 'servant mode' serving drinks and snacks and making sure dinner didn't burn

Kin frowned as he watched his cousin close into himself. How long had this been going on?? Where was the smiling little boy who loved to hug everyone? He gave a hidden glare to his Aunt and Uncle, they were responsible for Torins misery! How could they do this to there own son?? He got up quickly needing to leave the room before doing something drastic "if you'll excuse me... I'd like to speak with Torin so I beleive i will join him in the kitchen." He turned and walked out before any of them could protest. Seeing Torin running around the kitchen like a servant made him sad. He crept up behind and hugged him gently "Stop killing yourself over it... dinner will be fine. No one will complain"

Torin almost jumped when Kin hugged him but relaxed and gave a small smile over his shoulder "I'm ok... the're already mad at me cause I was late. I made.. a sort-of friend I guess today. Mom doesn't like her... she real nice though, highly energetic. *sighs* I KNOW it'll be perfect but I also know they will crticize it... I'm just trying to get in the state of mind to accept it without taking it seriously." He breaks away and turns towards Kin "You never answered my questions you know."

Torin grinned "Not really but thats the best i'm gonna get from you! *winces as he hears his mother shouting at him to finish dinner since they were starving* You better get back out there... I'm almost done."

Kin would rather stay but knew Torin was being stubborn so he just nodded and walked out. he paused when he thought he saw something move in Torins pocket but shook his head and continued to the dining room where everyone else was sitting.. waiting for Torin to serve them. That just got Kins temper up again and he silently fumed as the adults made pointless conversation around him.

He patted Kotaba gently "Calm down... I'm used to it. Your getting as angry as Kin..." He quickly got the food and went out to serve it placing it all around the table... it was a feast good enough for royalty. His parents sniffed disaprovingly stating that they would have prefered duck to lamb.. but time restraints wouldn't allow it. Just as he was about to sit (after carving and serving everyone there food) his father cleared his throat
"Torin... you've messed up 3 times today. Thast unacceptable. Go eat in the kitchen.. make a sandwich or something. You haven't proven your worth to stay at this table."
Torins mouth fell open for a moment before nodding and giving a small "yes sir" and retreating to the kitchen quickly before any of them saw the hurt that caused.. he wouldn't let them see they hurt him!
