Ah, you're the second person whose told me that.

I would recommend finishing the game, not only because the ending is just... great, but because Luke does eventually have a personality change.

Which is kinda sad, because I actually liked Luke when he was all jerky. I laughed at the way he treated Mieu. doesthatmakemeabadperson?

No problem! And no worries there, I actually had to look it up to figure out how to spell his name right x3 It's some kind of foreign name, which is understandable since pretty much almost every Exorcist and/or Noah has some kind of foreign-sounding name... Pretty sure Allen is one of the few who has a fairly average name compared to everyone else, hehe~
Yeah, I suppose so x3 I think I just prefer anime more because watching those kinds of shows tends to keep my attention easier, because animation and moving pictures x3 Sometimes I have trouble recalling certain things about some anime or shows for one reason or another... I've actually been meaning to rewatch AKIRA sometime in the future, primarily because I can't even recall what the hell I was looking at the entire time when I watched it previously x3 But yeah, we all get distracted by stuff in life, I'd totally get back into watching anime if I wasn't so busy between Gaia and IRL stuff... There are a lot of animes I'd want to watch at some point in my life, like Kill la Kill, Angel Beats, Tokyo Ghoul, etc. and it makes me sad that I don't have a lot of time to watch them as it stands right now x3
Hmmmmm... I wish I knew what character you're referencing, probably because it's either from an anime I haven't watched in a long time or haven't watched at all. Lemme know when you figure out his name or what anime/manga he's from!
So many difficult names... But it wasn't even just that I couldn't remember how to spell it, it was that the name itself vanished from my head. DX And yeah, I've got a similar problem with most things (like, you know, textbooks), I just got lucky in that I can focus on printed stuff if I'm interested in it... Then I kinda devour it... >.>

I've heard people mention Kill la Kill, and I've heard that it's interesting... But from the images and references I've seen, I'm a bit worried about hunting it down. Not for my sake, but I'd have a lot of explaining to do to my parents if they see the more awkward moments... XD I've heard that Tokyo Ghoul is good, too, so another thing to look for. Maybe one of these years...

Oh, I know the character. I know him well. Superbi Squalo, from the series Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I'd show a pic, but my wifi's being an a**. Also, the anime is finished (that is, unless the rumors are true and they make episodes of the last arc from the manga), so you're more just having to hunt down the episodes somewhere than anything else. Although, I don't think you'll have much luck finding dubbed episodes.

I honestly just thought the picture was an original, didn't realize he was from an anime.

For a second, neither the name of the character nor the anime registered in my mind.... now it has!

I love Yu~ I also love that anime! I really oughta finish it up sometime soon.
Well, like I said, he's my best guess, so I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time for either one to be right. XD

I know~ >u< I'd want to give him a hug. ...I'd probably end up getting beat up at best if I did, but I'd still want to hug him! And ditto on the finishing it up. Always awkward when you remember something and go "Oh yeah! That was awesome! ...I still have to finish it..."

Yeah, I get that x3 It's just how our brains are made to work, some people learn differently from others. I can say that I have an easier time focusing more and remembering stuff I'm interested in when it comes to reading printed media, I had some issues with that stuff in college. Although it wasn't so much that I wasn't interested in reading the material than the fact that there was so much information that it was often tough for me to remember what was important, because just about everything seemed important to remember x3 Maybe if college textbooks were more like manga, maybe then I'd have less trouble remembering stuff xD
Yeah, Kill la Kill is certainly a very interesting anime, even though I've only watched the first episode in Anime Club x3 But yeeeeeaaaah, you'd be right to take caution when watching it, because it's definitely one of those animes that you'd be more or less better off watching in the privacy of your room or something... At least, from what I've seen of it x3 I made the mistake of suggesting to the people in Anime Club that we watch the first episode of Kill la Kill, and this club is held within a public library. Needless to say, we had to shut it off before someone walked by, saw what was going on, and asked us what the hell we were watching and why we were watching in view of public eyes. It wasn't that bad at first, but as it progressed it just got so uncomfortable for us to watch in there that we couldn't even finish the episode. I do plan to watch the rest of it, in private, though >.<
Tokyo Ghoul is good too, I've only watched the first episode of it and I am fairly intrigued to see where it goes from there. And I think it's only about... 12 or 13 episodes, I think, so it's definitely one of those anime that you could binge on in a whole day.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn? Can't say I've heard of it x3 It sounds interesting though, I'll have to make a note to look into it sometime! Maybe one of the many anime streaming sites like Crunchyroll might have episodes... and if not dubbed, then I'll be happy enough as long as there's Japanese with English subs.

Yeaaaaaah. In my case, my brain's trying to do the same thing, but instead of everything being important, it tends to file everything as unimportant unless I thought it was spiffy. ...Which, for some reason, is not the same as discarding the info entirely, as I'm still able to recall some of the stuff when prompted correctly. Drives teachers nuts. XD

XD Whoops! Yeah, my problem is that my room's next to the main hallway and across from the bathroom, and the wonky wifi I've been dealing with lately means I need to keep my door open... Bad recipe when living with parents. At least I have headphones. XD

I got introduced to it by a friend, and it was very amusing. It did suffer from the same problem most shonen (I think I spelled that right) anime/manga have towards the end, though, and that was piling up the powerups. At a certain point, you were guaranteed to see one major power upgrade per arc, if not more. A fair warning: It starts out as one of those slice of life comedy types of anime, but once you hit a certain arc (I wanna call it the Mukuro arc because that's when he's introduced), it shifts hard towards the action and stays that way. Still some calmer moments, but it mostly becomes action. As for the name, you might still find it if you drop the "Katekyo" part of the name. Basically, if one of the characters in the first episode is a walking, talking toddler named Reborn wearing a suit with a matching fedora and he has a shapeshifting chameleon named Leon, you've got the right anime.

Heh, sounds like a field day, for the teachers at least xP I should consider highlighting important information in textbooks and stuff so that I can focus on that and not be distracted by other information that also seems important but likely isn't needed. But I couldn't do that... I absolutely hate ruining books for any reason, academic or otherwise, it's one of my biggest pet peeves along with dog-earing pages to bookmark them for later x3
Hehe, yeah xDDD It was because of that incident that the club president made a strict policy that if anyone wants to suggest an anime for everyone to watch, that they at least know what can be expected like partial nudity scenes, etc. so that we can avoid having a repeat scenario like we did with Kill la Kill xP
Any idea of why your Wi-fi is so weird? Maybe something's up with the modem or some similar technical issue? Heh, but yeah, headphones will certainly come in handy, especially in your situation xP
But still, at least Kill la Kill is fairly tame compared to a few other animes I can name that you would absolutely want to watch in the most private place on the planet... Especially if that anime's name is Berserk x3
How interesting, the powerup piling sounds almost like Dragonball Z or something x3 I don't know... but it still sounds pretty interesting! And I won't mind the slice-of-life comedy type stuff at the beginning too much, I've watched animes of that particular genre like Azumanga Daioh and Nichijou, so that kind of stuff doesn't bug me that much x3 In fact, I find it to be quite entertaining! Still, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for this anime whenever I'm browsing anime streaming sites in the future, maybe I'll be able to dig up some episodes somewhere!

Yeaaaaah... I'll just say my elementary and middle school teachers were very annoyed about the type of student I was. XD And I can't bring myself to write or highlight in books either. ; _ ; Even worse because the instructor I have this semester insists that we do in-text annotations... And it's part of our grade... Annotations in a handout are one thing, those are just packets... These are books she expects us all to write in... DX

For the most part, I think it's just the air over here. Or, more accurately, the temperature. It's been acting up all winter, and this router's less than two years old. The modem's much older, and it's working fine, since my mom's computer (she has the wired connection, while I'm using wifi) has had a stable connection to the web during this time. Well, except for that time we had a rather bad storm, but that was more because the power went out than anything else. XD

Yeah, pretty much. I've found that Naruto also had/has the same problem (I guess they're still dubbing episodes of Shippuden, I dunno; sub's either done or almost done by now), and don't... Don't get me started on Yu-Gi-Oh!... This is why I don't like shows or games based on card games... - _ - Anyway. Yeah, lots of powerup piling towards the end, but at least you likely won't have to deal with the last two arcs from the manga. Right, yeah, there were two that were after the anime stopped, forgot about the last arc. XD It's been a while since I've read it. But yeah, it was fun for me to read at least, so there's that. ^ _ ^

Heh, yeah, that would definitely not be the kind of class that I'd want to take part in, primarily because I just can't bring myself to write all over the place in books, even if it's for class x3 I can imagine that having to write in books for class when you're against ruining perfectly good literature is both frustrating and annoying...
Really? How strange, and I thought that cooler temperatures were supposed to help machines function better... I guess I stand corrected x3 Or maybe your Wi-fi is just weird like that for whatever reason, but maybe it'll be better once spring rolls around. I really can't wait for winter to be over finally... we've been getting snow on top of snow for the past several weeks here and I'm frankly getting sick of it... I usually don't mind snow in moderation, but after the few metric tons of the stuff and the below zero temperatures we've been getting as of late, I'd gladly welcome spring with open arms, a big ol' cake... hell, an entire celebration if I could!
Ehhhh, Naruto was pretty good at first, I thought, but I stopped watching it long ago even before Shippuden started because... I dunno, I guess really long-running animes like Naruto and Bleach just tend to lose my attention after a while... Last time I recall watching Bleach, it was during the Full Bringer Arc or whatever that was called, but I'd skipped over a HUGE chunk of what had happened between Point A and Point B.
Ahhhh, Yu-Gi-Oh! Personally, I actually kinda liked the original better than the other spin-offs and stuff they put out for that franchise. But eh, I agree, animes based on card games or whatever else never really interested me... That's probably the same reason I never got into stuff like Beyblade or Bakugan.
xDDDD Well, glad to hear that you enjoyed it, I'll definitely look it up sometime if I can, and maybe I'll pick back up on some animes that I haven't gotten onto again for a while... D. Gray-man is definitely on the list, along with Gurren Lagann, and a couple of Attack on Titan episodes I missed out when they'd been airing it on Toonami... I'll have to ask my friend if he could lend me the DVD of the last part of the Berserk arc I've yet to finish. I already know what's going to happen at the end, but I still wanna watch it x3 Preferably in the privacy of my room...
Anyways, I'm gonna head off for the night x3 Been feeling under the weather pretty much all day and I could use some medicine and sleep x3 Nighty night, folks!

I know he does, but it took too damn long to happen. I watched the anime and a playthrough of the game, so I know what happens. I just couldn't go into a fight without letting Luke die. Intentionally.

It...kind of makes you part of the the worst kind of people. Poor Mieu.

Heh, well that's alright! You can't always get 'em right.

But just think! Those few milliseconds where you're not being brutalized by him will be bliss XD sometimes the pain is worth it.
I have so many animes that I stopped watching a season, or a few episodes away from finishing. I blame Netflix not updating enough.

Jewel of Antares

Mm, a Gaia friend a few years ago. She had just started playing the game herself.

Ah, well that's unfortunate. In game, he was a pretty good fighter.

Mm, certainly not the worst. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. If you think about it, considering all Luke did to Mieu, he was the only one who stuck with him during his whole 'accidentally killed hundreds of people' incident. That was commendable, and I'm pretty sure that's the moment I actually started liking Mieu as a character, not just because he was the game's mascot.

Oh! I know Luke and Asch! Tales is one of my favorite series! (Though for some reason I stopped that game about 3/4 of the way through, I'll have to get back to it). They were both good characters, I actually liked Asch a lot, from what I can remember of him~

Pretty sure Jade was my favorite though, haha. I think I liked his and Luke's relationship, but I can't remember. (Also Mieu's voice was very, very annoying so I was okay with the abuse Luke gave it because I kind of hated it too until around halfway through the game)

Lia Syuki

Ah, he does look like Kanda, doesn't he? It's funny because in K the character also has a white haired friend, so they're really, really similar.

Hmm, I've never tried berserk, though I have heard of it.

Well, it doesn't look like anyone else has rolled a number that's closer than yours yet x3 But we'll have to see!

A friend introduced me to Berserk when I was at community college, it's essentially, as I would describe it, what may have happened if they had adapted Game of Thrones into a legit anime rather than a live-action TV series on HBO x3 If you love really dark anime/manga, then I would definitely recommend Berserk, but there may be content in there that might cause triggers for some people and there are some pretty adult themes, so it's definitely not for anyone who isn't age-appropriate.
The original anime is... not really that well-made, so I'd recommend buying the different arcs that are being sold on DVD, I believe there are three out so far. It may be a bit weird at some parts because they do incorporate some 3D elements into it, but the 'movies' are much better than the original anime in terms of animation.
