Jiro listened intently as Arisu told him of what he had learned, but he also noticed that Arisu's full attention wasn't focused on him. He didn't know if he liked or approved of such an act when one is engaged in conversation, but complied anyway. He noted the dirty, thin Gehaka with wings resembling a butterfly coming out of the shadows and bowed very slightly in reply to the Gehaka's greeting. Ranzu, as Arisu had called him, looked much worse for wear, and what was worse, he didn't say a word.
"Is he ill?" Jiro asked Arisu, a hint of falsified concern in his voice. He would wait until Ranzu had gone about his business to continue the conversation, which he had hoped to keep between the beautious Haka and himself. He eyed the Gehaka witha touch of malevolence at having their conversation seen in upon, but decided he would act courteous for now.

Once Juro had his bag back, full of fruit, he handed over the money he had been given to pay. That done he started to move away, blinking lightly as he noticed the three hanze near by. Without a second thought the equally dirty Juro spoke up in a loud clear voice to Jiro.
"'Ey! Haven't been taught any manners? You shouldn't comment on people's short comes like that. Just because you're higher up in the food chain doen't give you the right to try and hold your pretty little nose high enough to sniff the clouds, ya b*****d!" Whoa! Someone was rude! It seems Juro didn't care much for rank, something that often got him into deep trouble.

Ranzu turned with wide eyes to the Gehaka who had spoken so rudely. He hadn't noticed anything Jiro did wrong. He shook his head and held out his hands, trying to get him to stop with a pleading look. It's times like this he wished he had a voice. He made motions to Arisu and Jiro, trying to tell Juro that they did nothing wrong.
Nevousness was clearly written in his face as he flailed about and flapped his dusty wings a bit. His movements were frantic, paniced and he turned to look at the two and bowed even lower in apology for the other's words.

Juro cocked his head to the side as he watched the flailing Gehaka. What was up with him. Did he upset the other somehow in deffending him? Ugh... He'd never understand people... Feeling a little bad for upsetting him he came over to him, not bothering to even look at the other two. "Did I upset you? I'm sorry... I didn't mean to. You look like you're hungry. Here. They all look really sweet. You can have one."
He smiled sweetly at the mute, holding the bag open so he could choose something for himself. "Don't be shy, it's fine." He smiled a little more widely as he looked the other over, pale lavender eyes admiring his wings. "My name is Juro. Um... If you don't mind me saying, you have the prettiest wings I've ever seen..."

Ranzu blinked at the change and inwardly sighed. Had to decline the food, though. He didn't want to eat infront of the Haka he was on friendly terms for. It was bad enough Arisu saw him like this, and other Gehaka. He flipped the paper in his writting pad, which he had the whole time he was flailing, and dipped his brush in the bang he clung to, in the ink in and started writing down on the pad.
"Thank you, sir. But... You don't have to defend me. I know the Haka... I do appreciate it." He held it out so the other could read it, giving him a smile and hoping he could read it.

Juro blinked and closed the bag before slinging it back over his shoulder. "Well... If you're sure... Uh..." He looked down at the pad and smiled weakly back at him. "Um... You have very pretty handwritting, but I couldn't read a word of anyones writting to save my life. I only know how you write my name. My twin brother, Jiro, is the one that knows how to read and write real well!" Uh oh... The bad, bad Gehaka wasn't going away. Seems poor Ranzu would have to shoo him away if he wanted to look good before the other two. After all, Juro was quite obviously a bad influence.

It wasn't that he wanted to look good, it's just that the Haka, to Ranzu, deserved the best treatment even when not spoken too. He sighed a bit and looked to Arisu with an apologetic look and then looked back to the blue Gehaka. He couldn't read? This was going to be interesting. With a sigh, he thought for a moment. He motioned to Arisu without being rude, being very careful with his actions, and then to himself. This was supposed to signal that he knew him.

Juro looked at Arisu then back to Ranzu, nodding slightly to himself. Lucky for the butterfly gehaka, Juro made up his lack of book smart in wit. "You know him then... Still don't think it's very nice to say stuff like that to your friends. You should always be nice to friends, right? And try to help them whenever you can. But... I guess it's up to you who you choose to spend your time with and not any of my buisness. Still... I didn't mean to embaress you like that. Tell you what! I need to get back home to give these to my brother so he can make something for Anemane, why don't you come on by later? You look like you're a little down on your luck as well as money. You can have yourself a nice bath, a warm meal, and we'll see if we can get you a job at my home. We're almost done with the building of the circus and real underemployed. You interested?"

The Haka, regardless of what Jiro might think, was pleased to see the oddly marked Gehaka, regardless of his disability. The rose was handled carefully, being tucked behind one of his slender but long ears. Certain that it would stay in place, the Haka blinked at Jiro's question, fully expecting that the other would be slightly annoyed that his attention had strayed. Well, he would apologize for that later as well; Ranzu was a Gehaka that Arisu had, admittedly, worried about. The other seemed especially thin and bedraggled now. "Ill?" He repeated before shaking his head. "No, Ranzu is a mu--" Suddenly, a Gehaka was roaring at Jiro in an almost frightful way, making the Haka's ears pin back in apprehension.
Stunned for a moment, the Haka felt his temper slowly working itself to a feverish boil, watching as Ranzu seemed to desperately try and clear up the misunderstanding that had just tangled itself in front of him. The dark-haired Hanze caught Ranzu's eye, watching as the Gehaka gestured to him. Finally, as though the other rude Gehaka had thawed his mental state with his single glance and offhand statements, the Haka all but bared his teeth, silently slipping towards the pair with venom clear in his stride.
"Are you speaking about me? If you have the courage to continue, then say it to my face." Arisu was spittting mad; he had said nothing to not be 'nice' to Ranzu, yet this incompetent creature was already making assumptions about him. The three of them had simply been speaking, yet this newcomer had brazenly intruded, then thought he had the right to speak ill of a Haka? He normally did not use his rank to get his way, but in this case, if the other persisted, he would not hesitate. Hands were curled tightly around his parasol, forgetting temporarily about both Jiro and Ranzu in his anger.

Ranzu was scared. HIs wings were curling about him, his ears were pinned back and he watched the Haka's temper release. He looked to Juro, knowing this was going to happen. He had tried to prevent this. He bit down on his bottom lip and looked downward, not daring to look up at him unless it was the wrong day.
What could he do to calm them down? This wasn't going to end well at all and it's not like he could say anything to stop them from arguing. He stood back, listening but not acting.

Juro blinked as he found himself face to face with a very upset Haka. Now he was just confused! He made it a point to keep his temper in check now as he spoke, his own ears flatening as he spoke as steadily as possible.
"No. I am not speaking about you, good sir. You didn't do anything wrong. I was talking about that dumbass over there." He pointed to the green striped gehaka. "I don't care who's rank is what. No one has the right to talk down on someone like that. I don't care how little money, dirty, skinny, bruised, beaten, broken, or anything else someone is, that gives no one the right to speak to them like some stray dog roaming the streets." He took another breath to calm himself a little more before continuing.
"I come from a family that has had little luck in life, I know what it's like. I never let it get to me and even then I tried my best to help anyone that needs it. He," now he lightly motioned to Ranzu, "Looks as down in his luck as I once was so I've just offered him a bath, a meal and maybe even a job and a place to stay. If you would rather take him in, then by all means, be my guest. Or he could turn us both down! It all really comes down to what he thinks would be best for him. If you're at all worried about him, I can promise you this. If he comes with me, he will be doing honest work and earning money for it. It doesn't matter he can't talk. I'm the only one that can't read or write in my home. We will know if he needs anything as long as he tells us. I'm sorry you thought I was speaking ill of you. Honestly, I liked the way you looked at him. It wasn't cold at all." Juro even chanced a small smile as he finished, waiting to see what this Haka had to say, and hoping he'd just dodged getting in trouble by telling the truth.

Arisu's eyes were narrowed, just waiting for the Gehaka to insult him so he could lash out verbally without restraint. Ohh, he'd just love to do that--the Haka paused for a moment, confusion flickering over his own face. The Hanze hadn't been speaking about him? Embarassed and now angry with himself, the Haka averted his eyes, a flush of crimson spreading over his face. ""...I apologize then. From the glance and the words you spoke, it seemed as though you were speaking ill of me." Though it wouldn't have been the first time, Arisu would have rather been confronted about it face to face instead of pretending that he couldn't hear the Gehaka speaking.
"I was not concerned that you were offering Ranzu a place to stay." He said coolly, fixing the rose in place, as it had become slightly disheveled in his rage. "If he wishes to go with you and hopefully pick himself up, then I am certainly in no position to deny him that. Ranzu is simply a friend of mine; he can make decisions for himself." The Haka eyed Juro for a moment, then offered a faint half-smile. "I apologize for snapping at you then. The smile vanished as quick as it had come. "Continue on." He was apparently mollified by Juro's words, quietly returning to Jiro's side.
"My apologies." He said quietly, no longer quite so cheerful as he had been. The entire event, as well as the stress of working himself up in such a temper, had dampened his mood.

The scarred up Gehaka nodded slightly, the smile on his face gaining more confidence as the other realized he was mistaken. "It's fine, no harm done, right? It's good to see he has friends. The world can be a real lonely place. If he does end up staying with us, you are more then welcome to come to the Manor to visit. It's the new place that's just been erected with the circus next to it. You welcome to come see the show once we've set up as well! I'm sorry again for the misunderstanding." As nice as he seemed to be at the moment, he was doing his best to ignore Jiro's existance. Juro could be quite the sweety, but when upset he tended to have quite the faul temper. "Juro?! Juuroooo! Where are...?! There you are! What's taken you so long? Anemane's starting to get hungry. Oh... Um... Hello." And there was another Gehaka, identical in nearly every way as the one that had just been O' so rude. This one however had smooth skin that was unmarred by any scars. He was also obviously more slender then his twin, not having much strength to him at all, unlike his muscular brother. He gave a bow to everyone pressent before straightening up again and glaring at his twin, waggling his slender finger at Juro's face. "Did you get yourself in trouble again? Ugh! I can't even send you out to buy fruit for me! Really, Juro, you're hopeless!" Even their voices sounded very much like the same person, though they talked in very different manners. Juro laughed, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Almost I think. Got myself out of it though. It was just a missunderstanding, ya see? I got the fruit already Jiro, I was just about to head back home when---" "You had to play hero?" The twin apparently named Jiro interupted. "Juro... You really have to stop doing this! You can't fix all the problems in the world, Juro! What was it this time? Cat up a tree? Child lost his puppy? You needed to be at the other end of a jump-rope? What?!" The slimmer twin chidded, slender hands on slender hips. Juro bit his lower lip, cheeks blushing brightly. "But.... Jiro... Look..." He gloomily pointed at Ranzu. Jiro turned his gaze grudgingly to the other Gehaka only to blink, his expression softening. "Oh... I... I see... Um..." He felt bad now. Normally it was something petty, but this poor thing was a werk. A shame too! He looked like he could be quite lovely under all that dirt... "What is your name, sweet one...?" He spoke softly, almost as if Ranzu was a child that had hurt itself. Juro spoke up at that point, pointing at the paper in Ranzu's hand. "He can't talk, Jiro. He only writes." Jiro blinked lightly at the paper, "Oh. He's mute. Well, there's nothing wrong with that." He was chipper again smiling sweetly to the butterfly Gehaka. "I can read quite well, so there is no problem at all. You see, my love likes to be read to, so he taught me." He smiled at his brother as he continued. "Knowing this bafoon, he's already offered you a place to stay. The offer is still very much open. Do you accept?"

The butterfly Gehaka blinked and looked to Arisu and Juro, clearly torn. Then, when Jiro showed up, he bowed lower, his hair spilling over his shoulder. Ranzu really didn't like being the center of attention, and he was sometimes thankful for his talk-less state. But other times, this happens. He becomes that which he fears and he can't help but blush and look down.
His orange eyes flickered upwards and he sighed a bit, silently, and bit down on his lip as he started to write down: "That's a kind offer... I-I'm not sure if I can accept it... It's to kind of an offer for someone such as me. Your brother was very kind to come to my defense. That's more than one could ask for. I shall think about it, however... If that's alright.."
He looked back to Arisu longingly and bit down on his bottom lip again. He clearly wanted to be in the other Jiro's place, able to hold a conversation with him. He was careful not to get caught staring, and quickly turned his attention back to the two brothers, giving them each a light smile, his wings folding about himself in a shy manner.
