 The spartoi's arms lowered down to emit's shoulders before holding onto him on a tender manner. Trapping the young demon into a hug. "It's that all I'm going to get? Do I have to squeeze a smile out of you?"
Maka asked, she wasn't one to leave Emit without a smile, she would fight any sign of depression or loneliness on the boy. Teasing Emit, she would smile kindly. But the menace was still there as the hug grew a little tighter by the second. "I've been better, I remember most of my life now."With the last incident she was involved she had a short episode of amnesia, probably jack had told emit about it. Since most people, her children the most, were shocked to see how little could she remember about herself. It took her about a week to get to the idea she was married with Soul now, even more time to completely remember she had a son and a daughter as well. That was something else that she could relate to emit and his amnesiac episodes. "Do you remember my name now?"She asked, just in case.

Emit let out a giggle at her first response, she was right, he didn't say that much actually. It was a weird trait emit had though, it probably came from being shy after the incident. Guess some of his shyness stuck around even into his young adult years. She spoke about her memory and remembered about what jack had said to him. It wasn't a shocker how hard that it hit jack. He remembered him staying up every night for like 2 weeks searching for a way to regain her memory. "That's good, i think i actually less about my life before the amnesia, every trail i get it always goes cold which sucks." He explained, though he did actually meet his brother, but Emit figured it wouldn't be a good idea to tell her who he was...especially with his involvement with Saint Clair from the Mechanist group. Emit puffed up his cheeks as she explained the importance of patience. She was right, emit needs to stop forcing it or else it will take longer. "yeah..you're right." He said with his cheeks puffed, he was joking but meant what he said, she was very correct about letting it come to him, even if it was taking a long time. The Hybrid then remembered something and smiled deviously. "So i know jack is here, and usually an embarrassing surfaces from memories, what story did you tell?" He asked, there was a lot that emit remembers hearing from maka, and jack being embarrassed when she told them.Insanity Level: 0% OOC: Its like i'm sleepwalking

"Well there was this time in which he thought he became an autonomous weapon by creating a robot that could wield him as a meister. Said meister ended up blowing up in the middle of the gym when he tried to make it resonate."She grinned. "Of course there's also the time in which he thought his jump suit could make him invisible. Well at least the suit could."

Emit began laughing a bit, Jack did have quite the imagination as a kid, and who knew? He was making inventions that difficult at a young age, even if they malfunctioned. Somewhere in the mansion jack faced the direction his mom was and gave a slight shiver but shrugged it off. Emit remembered an a story. "Oh, i remember one time in the lab he tried to create a beta weapon...well a training weapon for DWMA. The first one blew up, i dont know how but it burned off his clothes. Well, I'll see if I can't set that up for you," Eric replied to Emma with his stereotypical lop-sided grin, amused at how shy she had suddenly gotten. He looked back at Shira. "I'm sure she'll like that," he replied to her first statement. He paused for a moment when she asked how he was doing. "Well....don't tell Dara I told you, but a little anxious to be honest. After seeing what happened in the future, this all feels like the calm before the storm. I know I should be enjoying it but..." he trailed off before giving an apologetic shrug as the punctuation to his sentence. Herald gave Emma a roll of his eyes when she teased him before looking back at Kain. "She has but....going to the future also gave me a little....perspective on things. Before I never really thought beyond perhaps a week in the future, but seeing my own children I....realized there was more to it than that." His expression was serious now, though he always had difficulty expressing things like this so he wasn't sure how else to explain it. WINS
