As she was helped up she brushed herself off and straightened her leather jacket. "I don't know where Yuji is, probably where everyone else is. I think they're doing something to do with his old wife, Amelie, so they're probably in one of Veira's little caves. But that means that it's impossible to get to." She shrugged. "Sorry man." She however looked to him for a brief moment and felt herself melt before she quickly looked away again. "I don't know, now that you're here the pressure has been lifted a lot. Think that has something to do with it?" She looked back to him with large purple eyes. Kyle nodded to them both. "You two better be off then. Get back to training. And maybe one of these days I'll personally give you a training lesson." Evelin puffed her cheeks out. "You better." Kyle squished the air out of her cheeks and chuckled. "Don't worry about it." He nodded. "And don't forget I'm taking you out somewhere tomorrow Evelin." Evelin suddenly blushed as she remembered. "Oh yeah..."

*Theador turned to leave, "come on sis, if you get started prepairing now maybe your be ready for your little date~" He smirked teasingly as they disappeared.
Meanwhile Ruji gave a nodded, seeing eye to eye for a moment, "aw so you noticed that as well. Intriguing. I have a theory... but no idea if it's possible." He shifted, "My guess is the fact that enemy we faced was a magical type right? Could be our souls were cursed somehow, making it so when we grabbed Conner the effects would begin. As regrettable as the idea may sound, that could have been a binding spell in which would mean the further we are apart the more pull we will feel. I've dealt with something like this one time before with my younger sister however how many years ago that was." He shied again and dropped his head a little, "again a theory. But if what you say of this Veria girl is true, then it seems I'll have to figure this out on my own." He excluded Evelyn, being he wasn't sure his theory was correct or misunderstood. He turned, to leave as he mumbled to himself, "that and I need to find a purpose... surly there was on layed out before me..."

Evelyn sighed and shrugged as she began to walk in the other direction. "Good luck with that man." However as soon as she got to the end of the hall she suddenly got tugged back again, this time more aggressively, almost as if some invisible force was throwing her and Ruji together. "******** hell-" She cursed and stood up again to face Ruji. "This is getting old really fast." She looked to him. "Seems we can't go a certain distance away from each other." She grumbled. Evelin hit her brothers arm as soon as they arrived back in the real world and she grumbled. "You're just mad because I get dates and you don't." She stuck her tongue out at him like she always used to do when she was smaller.

*Theador blinked, "Wh.... whats that suppost to mean! I can totally get a date if I wanted too! Tch I got enough hotness that any women would want." He shifted his head up high and headed without a pout or anything. Just proud in himself, even though he couldn't hold it long and burst out laughing as they got home.
Ruji again was quick to get up as he looked up with a curse under his breath, "it seems just like a binding spell... the further we go and the faster we depart, the worse the rubber band effect..." He shook his head, "we should see about finding some information on how to break the curse. Is there perhaps a repository near by that we would have access to written arts and scrolls?" He asked again in a serious of tone. Also speaking in the older form of the English language as well. Couldn't he have just said library? No, he didn't know what that word was.

Evelyn pulled a face, trying to figure out what he said before she burst into a fit of giggles. "Oh, you mean library." She snickered at him. "You're stuck in the old days man, you've got so much to learn if you want to be able to live in the modern world. Things will have changed a lot since you last saw it." She sighed. "I hope you don't get freaked out or something, that would not make my day." She walked ahead of him to the stairs. "Com'on tall dark and handsome. You've got sooo much to learn." She joked with a snicker. As Evelin and Theodore went inside Evelin quickly rushed upstairs to open her box. She eagerly wanted to know what was inside as probably did Theodore. She waited for Theodore to catch up before she ran into his room. "Ugh, I forgot it smells like boy in here." She turned her nose up however sat on his bed to put the box on her lap.

*Theador blinked then sniffed himself, "I don't smell nothing?" He put his box down, "I really wonder what's in here... a gift form kyle is really rare!" He didn't wait to see what was in hers, he duck right in, flinging the top to the side.
Meanwhile Ruji hesitated but felt the pull again and decided it better if they didn't go tumbling down the stairs. Upon leaving the castle he turned and looked up at it, "ah but it seems something don't change... I see structures have slightly become much... smaller. Less towers as well." It was until they got into town he was as confused as could be. He found himself getting left behind a few times as he would stare at different things he didn't understand. Then they passed a Tv shop where he stopped and held up his arm, "there must be a strong socsror inside in order to have that man view crystals!" Surly he meant the images of the tv screens, "it's odd they can now see the past, present and the present! No one could be safe..." he backed up seeing his own image do the same. He held a frown, finding someone to undo the curse seemed like it was going to be the easy part in this place. And what were these little boxes with red flag like things sticking up? Were these things the new way to claim territory? Suddenly he jumped in between two kids throwing a Frisbee and caught it, "it's fine I got it!" however holding it he realized it wasn't a weapon at all. "Strange... I remember these being sharper... and faster as well..." He looked to Evelyn, "what is this Matrail?" He tapped on it, he didn't know what plastic was. He was lost as could be as he found himself feeling smaller in this world.

Evelyn sighed as she walked over to Ruji and grabbed the back of his shirt. "This may be harder than originally thought." She took the frisbee from him, gave it back to the kids and dragged him away into a corner of town where there was less activity. She sighed with a giggle. "You're such a doofus." She looked up to him as if he were a child for a moment, before accidentally behind reminded of the fact that he definitely was not a child. She coughed on her words as she tried to speak but she composed herself quickly. "Look you got to control yourself a little. You look like a fool out there gawking over things everyone else is so used to." She giggled, because she knew she found it kind of cute at the same time. "Don't worry. I'll explain all these things for you. Just don't.. rush off and investigate, okay? You'll get lost and we'll both get tugged again for all we know." As Evelin opened her little box she found a purple velvet material and underneath it she found what looked to be a silver metal fanged whip. "Woooah." Her eyes widened as she took the leather handle and carefully lifted it from its case. "This is awesome." She knew just by looking at it how sharp it was and she knew she didn't want to be on the receiving end for something that dangerous. She looked to a card at the bottom. 'Evelin, this weapon I thought would be more suited to your style. Its enchanted with an energy draining charm, so your enemies will never be able to stand up to you.' As Theodore opened his box he would have found a similar fabric and underneath a pair of silver knuckledusters that had giant lethal blades fixed onto them, and to the side was spare blades that looked to be interchangeable onto the knuckledusters. His card read 'Theodore, never underestimate the power of brute force and will. These weapons are enchanted with a power boost. With every hit you land your power increases however this is only effective during battle. Have fun.'

*Theador was in awww, this was his first enchanted weapon. He took the blades and made sure to get a good grip on them... he badly wanted to test them out, but reframed from swing his arms around incase he accidently hurt Evelin. He wouldn't' forgive himself if he had. He was chagking them out as he held them up to Evelin, "I got something alsome!" What did you get?" He looked over to Evlein with a blink then laughed, "oooo Kyle better be a good boy our your'll have to wipe him!~" He laughed, "how do you even use that thing?" it looked easy in Indana Jones.
Meanwhile Ruji regained his poster. "Vary well... but may I ask... what point are we within?" He looked behind him to the city, "when I was last free like so, Time was just being recorded after a system found on stone. But days and nights would sometimes skip these recordings when conflict came. Thus I'm not entirely sure how long even so, but surly..." he stopped himself. It wouldn't make sense to him even if she answered, he hadn't relized it till this point. He shied, "nevermind a waist of time. Let us carry on... and another question..." he started to follow her alittle closer now, trying to focus on her, "what is a "doofus?" His serious expression while asking would make anyone laugh so hard they would crap themselves, he truly hadn't known and for some reason he had so many questions that remained unanswered.

Evelyn giggled even more as they walked back into town to get to the library. "A doofus is the modern definition of a fool Ruji. And your name should come right under that definition too." She looked back to him. "Call me Evelyn for gods sake. That's my name after all." She grinned before looking forward again. "Recorded on stone? That's a long time ago then. You'll have no idea what technology is." She sighed. "At least with the library there's just dust and old crinkly pages. I love it there." Evelin scowled to him as she cracked the whip right next to his face. She was surprised she was able to have that much control over it and she was quite pleased with the result, however scared that she almost struck her brother no matter how much she wanted to scare him. "What was that?" She said with a raised brow.

*Theador leaped against the wall, afraid she meant it at first. He had his blades up, "the hell! Cant you take a joke!?" He cried checking his face. "That thing could have killed me!"
Meanwhile Ruji nodded, "teco.. tecology?" He replied wrongly, "sounds too much like something that shouldn't be to me." He shrugged, "Evelyn huh... I should remember that, not too odd of a name, nor long and hard to say either." He tilted his head to the side as they approached the library, "are there scrolls? In my day all important aspects were recorded on scrolls, books were simply for small recordings or story telling. Tails for children. However scrolls, the rolled up parchments with a wood center... they held the information on Magical, great, and terrible things." He reached into his pocket and held one out, "Like this for instance." the scroll was a yellowish rough paper, thick not thin like they were used too. And finally entering the library he blinked, "ah I see... more could be stored within books. Intriguing." He moved forward in aw also finally noticing the lights, "and I noticed already that torches are no longer needed either. This should be easier to find then." He reached for a book and opened it up randomly, "hmmmm... these seems to have information on a whale... something upon a fin it seems." He close the book and put it aside, as the librarian came up, "can I help you?" Ruji held up a finger, "Indeed. We're looking for a 'book' on binding spells, or curses. I assume they would be hidden?"

Evelin giggled as she retracted the whip and brought her hand to her mouth. "Whoops~" She giggled more. "My hand slipped." She looked to her weapon again and realised it had a button on the side. And as she pressed it, the whip grew 3 times longer. She marveled at it before pressing the button again and it retracted. "This is amazing. Why did Kyle give us this stuff?" Evelyn didn't even stop to ask for the librarian, she just walked straight past them and into the many rows of books. She'd spent a lot of time in these halls, she knew where to go. She walked straight to the back in a small corner that was locked away from the rest of the library. But since she was such a frequent user, she had a key. She carefully unlocked the door and walked inside, grabbing a large old book and sitting on a bean bag. "Ah." She breathed in the smell of old books as she opened the one on her lap. "Right."

*Ruji noticed Evelyn take care of the situation and told the librarian never mind. He walked over to the lazy looking beanbagger, and nodded, "It seems you do know where things are located here after all. I shall pay closer attention. Either way, what does it say?" According to the book, Binding spells were only to hold one in place. meanwhile a Binding Curse was to bind multiples of people together so that they couldn't be separated. The only way to break the curse was by the one who casted it in the first place, or a blood relative. Sadly... they had neither. Whether the fact it was just a string or not, they had no way to undo what they thought was done too them. This made Ruji, still standing tall to Evleyns side put a hand to his chin, "and since Litchis are extinct... or endangered in this case. Theres no fact of fixing what he had done. It seems that man won again. There is another way not described in this parchment however. And that's if one is cursed with something else, sometimes it cancels out a curse already in effect in order to replace it." He shrugged, "we will need a Wizard or Sorcer to perfom this task upon us. Hopefully with something less... demeaning. Do you know of any?"
Just then Shortstraw peered into the room, "hey I noticed you were back. Your mother and I are planning a family movie tonight you too..." he blinked and stepped in, "whats that." Theador quickly leaped up, "watch out she's dangerous with that thing! Almost tried to get me!" Be waving his arms around shortstraw frowned, "and... she's the one dangerous... theador your the one waving large knives around." Theador pulsed his arms over his head and brought them back down, "oh yea." He came in and sat down on the bed, "since you were going to see kyle, I'm guessing these came from him." He noticed the boxes.

Evelyn picked herself up from the bean bag chair and slowly and carefully slid the book back into its dusty spot. "No, not really." A small shiver ran down her back. "Me and Sorcerers don't get on too well.. I don't actively like to seek those guys out." She turned back to him. "I do know however that one of our neighbouring lands leaders is a sorcerer. A guy named Limerick I think? Yeah, I remember seeing him at one of Kiera's summits once. Weird guy." Evelin nodded eagerly as she rushed up to her father with a smile, always being daddy's little girl. "Look how awesome they are!" She held up her whip carefully but almost caught her finger on one of the fangs. They were very sharp, and Evelin knew she had to get used to them. "Kylie's not mad at us anymore." She coughed as she realised she said Kyle's name how she used to say it and looked away, embarrassed.

*Shortstraw didn't take the whip from his daughter, but rather put a hand just under hears to get a better look, and to steady it. "Hmmm... the craftsmanship of this a great. But use of a whip takes skill I think. To be honest, I'm scared to try it myself." He chuckled, "maybe I can as your mother if she knows how to use one and can better show you how to properly use it. Just in case." He rubbed the top of her hair but noticed her look away. He chuckled, "you know I think it's rather cute you call him like that. Makes his name special and unique." He nodded, "you should never ever think otherwise. Just be you hun." Theador had to stop shortsraw from giving his sister all the attention and quick handed him on of his new blades, "what about these?" Shortstraw inspected it, "well... again good craftsmenship. Sorta like a mantus blade... but also quiet different aswell." He nodded, "this I think I help you learn how to use. It more in my area of expertise. It looks like the one blade here can detach though..." Theador nodded and dug into the box, "I have spare blades too~" Theador smiled, "I think kyle was trying to make a point." Theador blinked, "like what?" He chuckled and stood up, "simply your ready to move to the next stage. Keep in mind your a few years behind him, so he's already been in your shoes, he's preparing you both for it." He nodded, "more and more I'm finding myself likeing that odd cosen of yours." He patted shortstraws head and kissed Evelins forehead, "just promes not to go too wild with these till you know how to use them~"
Meanwhile Ruji glared for a moment. "I do not like the sound of that at all. Leaders of large groups or territories tend to usually want something massive in return. And even more so, you have to trust them enough with such a situation. If they place a more powerful curse, we could end up in much worse a situation, and also in between affairs." He shrugged, "it seems we may be stuck like this for quite some time either way." He folded his arms together, "but for the life of the child I assume it's worth we got off easy." They were intruped by his tough guy talk from a growl of his stomach. his body was compeatly empty from verias storige, and his soul hadn't tasted food in centreys. He shied, "and this day and age is going to tred upon me harshly, I shall not make it out alive at the rate it's already going."

Evelyn sighed and shrugged. "Well it looks like you're stuck with me now then. So I might as well show you the ropes of this world." She looked to the floor sadly. "There's so much for you to learn.. I suppose all we have is time though." She looked back up to him. "Do we wanna start with getting some food then? I mean I don't actually eat mortal food but by the sounds of it you're hungry and it'll be a good experience for you to find out how the commercial world works." She rose an eyebrow. "Unless... you're not tough enough to handle it of course." Evelin nodded with a smile. "Okay dad." She nodded again. "Kyle's awesome!" She rushed back over to the box on Theodore's bed and carefully placed it back inside. It was safe to say she had a relatively biased view of Kyle, as probably did Theodore too. And she didn't understand why lots of people in the family hated him. Sure he lied a lot and was good at it but he always helped out and cleaned up the families messes. She looked to her brother. "We need to practice with these."
