Aslinn listened to Cody and sighed; her pills on the night stand looking untouched. When he tended to her she sighed. "No if i were stubborn i'd have still been out of bed when you came in. ot like you have to do this the doctor will be by soon" she said semi seriously. When he left to get the chair she had forced herself up out of the bed. She carefully slipped off the ruined dress and then slipped on a over-sized t-shirt and a pair of pajama bottoms that stopped at her ankles. Either way she didn't need any lectures from her mom and hoped to keep things hidden for now. She had gotten up and made her way to the door. As soon as he came back she was holding onto the door tightly breathing heavily.

Hearing them up Aslinn's mother suddenly shouted "Breakfast is almost ready hurry up or it'll be cold." After she shouted that she began plating everything on the island letting the kids pick what they wanted. She didn't have any idea what had happened last night but knew they'd come back late and intended on lecturing her daughter.

Aslinn furrowed her brow when he spoke and shook her head before she spoke. "Not like she'll be listening or in the room. All i will tell her is a got a little too drunk and you had to escort me home." Clearly she didn't seem to be thinking things through too well but the longer she held onto the door frame the more wobbly she got. Soon either her body would give and she'd be forced to accept defeat or Cody would take matters into his own hands.

Her mother had just pulled the last of the food off and had been waiting a moment before she got angry. "Now i don't understand this Aslinn if your planning on sneaking off to avoid my breakfast you've got another thing coming." She said angrily as she began leaving the kitchen heading off in the direction of their bedrooms.

Aslinn couldn't stop him from putting her in the chair as much as she wanted to. "fine but when this conversation comes up be prepared to turn bright red." She didn't have any real idea n what her mother would say with 100% certainty but she had a great idea.

Her mother just watched him begin wheeling her daughter into the kitchen and gave a raised brow. When she saw Cody's limp her face changed from an angry one to one of concern. She gave her daughter a look before asking " What happened last night!" in an aggravated tone. It seemed clear to Cody that her mother was quite used to the run around out of her daughter.

Aslinn gave cody a dirty look as she crossed her arms. Once he finished talking she kept her eyes pointed at the ground. When her mom spoke she shook her head and suddenly quipped. "Not you life." Her face benith her fur was deep scarlet right as soon as the doorbell rang with the doctor.

Her mother looked at Cody when he spoke and gave him a soft smile. "Nice to know someone can tell the truth." She said in a annoyed tone before she turned to her daughter and examined her and suddenly she spoke. "You wouldn't be hurt if you'd have mated already. You've got that pact so tie the knot with Cody and produce children... then people won't get so deffensive. Besides you two would produce cute babies." She seemed to be interested in giving her daughter the lecture.

Aslinn kept her mouth shut when her mom spoke. As soon as Cody spoke about food she smiled warmly and sais "yes let's eat" she mumbled hoping to change the subject.

Aslinns mom heard the door and went to go answer it. She seemed far more preoccupied with who was out the door. Not long after she answered the door she came back with the doctor who seemed to be less than amused with Aslinn. He looked at cody then said "after we eat I'll look at you. Then I'll be tending to Aslinn."

Aslinn sat there eating her food trying to ignore the impending doom of dealing with the doctor. She didn't mind it so much but considering the doctors mood it seem things would be going down hill. When he said he'd look at Cody first that relaxed her enough to help her finish what little food she could.

As soon as the boy was finished the doctor spoke calmly. "Alright if you'll follow me o the bed room Cody we can make sure your fine and it's all in order." He'd elected to see Cody first for several reasons; he needed to make sure he was healing properly, and that he wasn't having difficulties. However the two big reasons were t he could probe how much of a thorn Aslinn was being in her own recovery process before treating her, and explain some things to Cody.

Aslinn sat there whilst cody left with the doctor sighing slightly. Knowing shed bear the brunt of his complaints.

The doctor looked at Cody when he sat upon the bed and he began removing the bandages to check on the wound. "Aslinn is difficult in the fact she won't rest when she needs it. She should've stayed in the hospital but refused to. Her body lost a decent amount of blood and she doesn't like taking her pills. She's got an iron defficency which is the issue." Once he'd checked on it he carefully cleaned it before slowly rewrapping it. He slowly looked at him before asking "does anything feel funny, painful, or wrong." He needed to know what was going on before he moved to aslinn.

The doctor sighed before saying "she's like her father. No matter how hurt she is she doesn't like showing weakness. Weakness to her is showing someone a way to exploit her." Everything he said made some semblance of sense at least when you factored in Keira. After finishing tending to his leg he spoke in a softer tone "If you two decide to go out today i recommend a jacket or something for her. She's more than likely gonna be a little cold for a while." Once that was ot of the way he stood up and lightly patted Cody's back. He smiled and spoke calmly "your leg looks better don't stand for too long and take the pain pills only when you need to"

Aslinn had wheeled herself back to her room and was waiting on the doctor trying to keep calm so she could let him do his job.
