Estelle felt a light rubbing on her shoulder. Her eyes opened slowly to see a pretty young female assistant beckoning her. "Good morning Miss Fabre, did you sleep well?" She asked her as she offered the young woman a new robe for her for after her shower she had also brought her some eggs and toast for a light snack.

"I did, I guess its almost time huh?" The young woman said as she dug into the food.
When she had finshed she were lead down to where Cecelia and another one of the scientists were waiting. A smile crossed Estelle's face. "This is going to be fun... whatever it is."

"As ready as I'll ever be Mam." Estelle saluted playfully as she noticed in a reflection of herself, She giggled and wiped some egg from her lips. "What do I have to do?" she asked continuing.

((OOC: Thank you Star. ^w^ I'm still getting into it but I really love it so far. I'm not used to the pace of the posts in here since it normally takes me a while to write mine, but I'll do my best to keep up!))

She smiled again at Finita when the head scientist expressed gratitude in her interest, politely accepting the proffered clipboard with the contract. "It's far more exciting than testing make-up samples, is it not?" she joked lightly. The rewards for participation in the testing had initially been what drew her in, yes, but now after seeing the minotaur, Helena wanted to know more about these experiments. "If I walk away now, I will forever wonder what I missed out on. So I must come along and poke my nose in" she grinned. "Oh, looks like we have to go. I'll sign this as soon as I can"

Turning her attention back to the male scientist, she took his cue and followed along with the other ladies, deeper into the laboratory, carrying the contract with her. She was glad that Mr Clemetts decided to talk with her as they walked. She loved chatting to people, it always made her feel better, plus she enjoyed getting to know others. "Ratchet" she repeated with a nod. "Of course" If that's what he preferred to be called, she would try to remember.

She listened as he told her about the other three women and tried to imagine what they had turned into. It would be wonderful to meet each of them, Helena thought, to talk to them and see what they were like after the experiment. She couldn't keep a smile from her face. She should be scared out of her wits, Helena thought, but the excitement and curiosity far outweighed the fear. She was silent for a moment, trying to snatch glimpses of what the contract said while they walked. 'I wonder what I would become?'

She looked at Ratchet as they entered the test room, handing him the signed contract on its clip board, "Thank you, it was lovely to meet you as well. I will take you up on that offer, as I am going to partake in this too. I've decided!" Helena hadn't read the contract. She simply wanted to commit herself to this and see what she became. She was afraid that if she did read it, something written therein may cause her to have second thoughts.

Helena looked in the direction the scientist waved and lit up in delight when she spied the siren in her tank. This surely must have been a woman who also signed up for the testing. She had a pretty name.

When Ratchet went to speak to Finita, Helena took the chance to look around some more. She peered through the glass window at the cavern display, marvelling at how realistic it was. She then sashayed up to Cecilia in her tank, wanting a closer look."Um...hello? Do you mind if I talk with you?"

Ratchet calmly gave Finita a pat on the back. "Don't worry about it and focus on the rituals today. We'll get to the bottom of this I'm sure." he reassured the Minos woman before giving her a nod and returning to the others.

He returned to the others and smiled noticing Helena was talking to Cecelia. It seemed like she was a rather friendly person, hopefully her transformation would be a pleasant one. The Siren had a crowd around her, as Olivia and Alex seemed to look at her.

Stopping a blush fell upon his face as he spotted Silvia. Walking over he pulled the woman into a hug and kiss. "So how did my foxy lady's job go?" he flirted and cooed to her happily taking a hold of her hand. Oh she filled his heart full of joy!

Alex was shocked! There was a mermaid in the tank, but he oddly felt like maybe she wasn't a mermaid at all. They didn't have sharp teeth after all. Too focused on Cecelia he accidentally bumped into Helena. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" he said worry in his eyes as he turned to look at the woman. "Are you hurt? I'm sorry I can be a rather klutz sometimes!"

Helena brightened when the aquatic vision in the tank answered her, watching her swim so sleekly and admiring the shimmer of her scales and the jewellery she wore. “Oh, lovely. Well then, I am Helen-aah!”

She had just started to introduce herself in return when someone bumped into her and Helena found her forehead hitting the glass display tank with a soft thunk.

Turning to the one who was stammering an apology, she giggled while rubbing her forehead. “No, it’s all right. It took me by surprise, is all. You must have known that I wanted a closer look at this mermaid” she joked good-naturedly, mistakenly labelling Cecelia.

“Do not worry about it. Everybody can be clumsy sometimes” she reassured him.

Looking at both Cecelia and Alex, she introduced herself more properly. “My name is Helena Kaffei. It is good to meet you both”

Upon hearing Cecelia’s request, she nodded, her dangly earrings dancing. “I would love to hear a song if you feel in the mood to sing one. It would lend some atmosphere while we are waiting” Waiting for the next testing, Helena gathered, from looking at the observation area. It looked like something was going to happen in there!

Alex blushed shyly. He was glad he hadn't hurt the poor woman. Shaking her hand, when she introduced herself Alex smiled. "I'm Alexander Snowe. It's a pleasure to meet you...Miss...Kaffei." he said slowly blushing when the siren began to play. Letting go of the woman's hand he closes his eyes and sighed happily.

Oh her song was so dreamy, it made his heart melt as he listened. Olivia also seemed to be happily swaying and humming along as the Siren sang.

Ratchet blushed as the song began to play. His eyes suddenly becoming more romantic he kissed her deeply before pulling her into a gentle waltz. The music of the Siren just made him want to cuddle and possibly make love to the woman he loved. It was an odd feeling, the magic and effects Celestia's songs had. He wondered how Finita was doing though, but it didn't last long as he stared into Silvia's eyes. "I love you..." he cooed nuzzling her nose with his. "By the way that outfit looks so sexy on you. I bet you got a lot of looks today huh?" he blushed after giving her a twirl in their dance.

((OOC: Ha ha, yeah, I wanted to break out of playing characters who are teens and in their mid twenties and try something new, so I chose an older lady.))

Helena had been shaking Alex's hand when the siren song started, stealing her attention completely.

Forgetting to let go of the poor boy's hand, she turned to watch Cecelia's lithe fingers pluck the lyre expertly as her voice flowed out like water.

The woman was enchanted by this soulful, sweet music! Her lips parted in a raptured expression as her hazel gold eyes shone with delight. It felt like she was being swept up into a brilliant dream and she didn't even try to fight it, allowing fears and anxieties to dissolve into a yearning euphoria.

Carried away by the uplifting and lilting tune, she grabbed Alex's other hand.

'Let's dance!" Helena began to dance playfully with him, her dress and her hair swishing as the jewellery tinkled merrily on her person. "Isn't this fun?" she laughed, pulling him into a twirl. If she hadn't been so enjoying this enchanted wonder, she would have perhaps noticed the kitsune girl and the other scientist. And she probably wouldn't be tormenting this young lad!

Cecelia, seeing Estelle start to climbe down into the chamber, wound her song down into a stop.

I finished my dance with Ratchet with a flourish, finding myself leaned back into a classic tango post with his hand on my lower back, myself leaned back heavily on him, and our noses close together.

Finita bounded in, nearly shaking the entire building. Her ears wiggled when she saw everyone in the various stages of winding down from dancing. She was slightly disappointed that she had missed Cecelia's song, but she just shrugged and hurried over to the window.

Somehow, before Estelle's very eyes, the brew started to flow through the tubes. It started to age quite rapidly as the equipment actually started to do the entire process itself, somehow sped up. Steam started to form from how hot the tubes were getting from moving the liquid around in the vats. The steam smelled strongly of alcohol, and yet Estelle didn't find that unpleasant... infact she thought it smelled quite yummy. She was also getting quite thirsty... yet as the steam filled the chamber from the booze making set-up the thought of water now seemed to frighten her... and disgust her.
