Cedrick's Shadow piped up after Vivira's explanation "10 years! That is quite some time. I wonder what they would do to you. Sounds like torture could run in the family." Cedrick shook his head, again trying to get the thought out of his mind. "10 years, sounds like torture if I ever heard it. Sorry to hear" He said. Cedrick could relate to some degree seeing as how his father was killed while he at school. Shian was shocked at how her friends were. "People you know seem to just vanish huh?" She asked half joking.

I'm really sorry Lily, but you were far too distant in the past. And I had to respect your decision." Daniel explained, but by no means tried to shake the blame off from himself. "But Treinna san, I came here to see you...See how have you been doing. I couldn't just see you here and just leave like that. I thought maybe we could hang around like old times. It doesn't have to be right now, but we can set it up for another day. Just let me know. Then I'll be able to leave in peace."
Daniel insisted as the talk once more shifted between Lily and her mother only to end up with Lily saying she would go to bed.
"Could you at least give me a day? An hour?" He called but it was too late, Lily had already parted from the room. As Vivira apologized, Daniel bowed towards her as well. "N-not at all. I'm as guilty as you are Vivira san, maybe we unintentionally put too much pressure on Treinna san." He would then turn to Cedrick, Sasha and Shian "I must apologize as well. I'm glad to see Lily has such good friends now. Please, forgive me for messing up with the mood."

Cedrick saw Lily rush up to her room after all that she just dealt with in a matter of minutes. He then turned to all the two new people who were both apologizing. "Why are you both apologizing?" he asked and turned to Lily's mother. "Yeah she was forced to live on her own for 10 year, But you couldn't control it." He took a brief pause and continued "I understand that you didn't to do that. I think it just that with everything that has happened, she is still stressed out." He leaned back into the couch and closed his eyes and smiled a bit. "And I thought having a witch for a mother would cause problems." He joked trying to lighten the mood. Shian looked at the two and after Cedrick's joke she spoke. "This might just need time." She said "Lily just got out of the hospital and two people from her past just come to her doorstep. I understand her stress." She said to the group who were all concerned for Lily.

Daniel chuckled lightly, but it was obvious he was a little nervous around Vivira. He was used to Lily's shyness but Vivira was way too direct. "Well, you see. I am a graduate, but that doesn't mean I'm out of duty. I could be called any day. That's why I would like to use all the time I've got to spend it with her." The meister said while trying to be as calm as possible.
"I would like some." Cedrick said when Viviri offered some. "How often do you get called out?" Cedrick asked curious on how his life turn out when he is done school. Shian smiled happily when she was offered tea. "Yes!" She said with a huge smile. "Why do you get called away so much?" She asked Daniel not knowing much still of the school.

"Thank you" He said as he was handed the tea. Hearing Vivira's reply he was puzzled at first as to what to say. "I would love to.. but she has friends already. Last time I was here she rarely spoke to anyone. I didn't wanted to add that much pressure onto her until I know this new Lily better. It would be a shame that because of my carelessness she secludes herself to not talking to anyone again."
As the time passed by, Lily's friends also jumped into the chatter. Asking about Daniel's life as a grad. First was Cedrick, whom asked about how often was he called out. "Well my major goes on Intelligence so we fit in in pretty much any kind of mission. However I also take part in the interrogation process. As for dangerous fieldwork we are usually involved in rescue / retrieve operations. Taking that in consideration, we can be called out any second. Fortunately, with DMWA's constantly graduating many competent meisters and weapons every year. I was actually able to get a vacation period. However, due to how erratical the nature of our work is, we can still be called if the situation calls for it. Think of it as a full time job. More than being called."
Next was Shian, which asked why did he got called away so much.
"It's because DMWA forges the best agents there are. As such we are on a high demand. If we are lucky, we can get a job here in the intelligence division. But most of the time, we are called for Military organizations or even private companies that requires of our skills. It's a busy world out there.
During the time we were studying there was actually a war going on with some air pirates in the middle east. Due to the lots of casualties we were asked to go an rescue as many people as we could. About time we were going to pull back home, there were not much of a defensive force to stand their ground against the pirates. And so, some of us had to stay behind and hold the forts while help arrived."

Daniel stood up as he barely heard Vivira's reply. "Mmm?" Sighing, he would look on Lily's room direction. Then turned to face Cedric, Sasha, Shian and Vivira. "I'm sorry, but, would you excuse me for a moment?" They've been discussing for a while, yet, it seemed like Lily was really planning on leaving them in their home. To which Daniel couldn't actually be happy about it. She had visitors, her wonderful friends from DMWA, plus her mother. He understood she wouldn't want to see him but her friends were not part of this.
Heading towards the room, Daniel managed to pass by unharmed. To which he found weird. Since he always thought she'll have her house armed to the teeth with various secret traps to keep people away.
Knocking on the door gently he leaned closer to it. "Lily, do you have a minute?"

Daniel smiled, at the very least he got her attention. It was really hard to do so back then. "I would like to have a word with you... in private. If it's not too much to ask." He pleaded. Hopefully, Lily would be in a better move now. At this point, he was gambling with Lily.

Daniel would nod, despite Lily not being able to see him do so. Taking the doorknob he opened the door and closed it behind him. "Well, to be fair, and completely honest. As you told me to be all this time. I do not like what you are doing. Your friends came all the way to meet you and see how are you faring after your problematic experience. Honestly, I was scared the moment I knew you were abducted by some madness effect. More over with what kind of radical procedure they had to come up with to save your life. None the less... I'm grateful to know you are safe and sound now." He smiled kindly, yet there was still the issue of Lily being too serious toher friends. "Treinna san, I know you don't like to talk to other people about your personal feelings, and such. But you don't have to neglect their interest in your welfare either. Just being there with them. I bet they would be as happy to have you by their side as I am." Time was ticking, and he was sure to keep up with Lily's demand of five minutes. "I came here today because I finally got myself free from work... and I hope to repay you for leaving your side all these years...that's why..." Daniel stepped forward and held Lily's hand to call for her attention. "I would like to devote whatever time I've left with you. I've missed you so much. I know it may sound selfish. But I want to do what's right... at least what my heart feels its right."
