Shira watched Krieg for a second before walking over and tapping his shoulder "Charl can make a portal for you you know." she said with a small smile. Charl nodded before disappearing, in her place was a portal.

Krieg sees the portal up and says "Oh right. Well I see you later then." Krieg started to make his way to the portal about to enter with his key in his hand.
Shira smiled "Just give me a call if you want to talk or hang out then." she said as she watched Krieg leave then. She finished her juice then and glanced a the time.

Krieg says to her "Good bye. Ill see you later." He steps into the portal going to his new place (exits)
From within the bedroom, Atticus would hear some of the conversation between Krieg and Shira, well enough to know that Krieg had decided to go to the new place that Charlotte had provided. As Shira came into the bedroom, Atticus glanced towards her, "Yeah, I'm feeling a bit better." he stated. He would keep the whole thing with Despair, a secret from Shira, not knowing how she will react. "Hey, would you be upset if I said that I wanted to stop looking for a way to save me?" he asked. He had already discussed this with Charlotte and she was against it, so much so, that she managed to convince Atticus to continue searching. However, things have changed and now Atticus had decided to stop once more, but this time, he seemed dead set on this. His resolve would be clear to Shira, she would be able to see that no matter her answer, Atticus would remain on the path he chose.
Shira shut the door behind her and glanced at Atticus "What?... Yeah that's fine. I wouldn't be upset. It is your life after all." she said with a small smile. She sat down on the bed then, not saying anything else.
Hearing Shira, Atticus looked confused. He honestly did not expect her to reply in such a way, "Well, you could have though it over a bit more." he stated, watching as she came over and sat down on the bed. "Kinda seems like you don't care about me." he would say in a child-like manner, of course he was teasing her.
Shira jumped slightly "U-Uh! It isn't like that!" she said. She took a deep breath then and glanced to the side "I do... but I don't want to force you into continue looking for some sort of way to save yourself... It is ultimately up to you. I don't want to make things more difficult by objecting and such because I know this is difficult for you." she explained.
Atticus would smile at Shira's response, "You know, I told Charlotte the same thing, but she objected and even managed to change my mind." he stated. "It's funny, because it seems like you two have switched roles. She's become a lot more emotional and humanly, but you seem a little more distance..." Atticus then trailed off, thinking about some things. "Hey, when I am gone, be sure to check up on Mirai and Vincent for me."
Shira glanced at her lap then as she sat there. She didn't say anything in reply. It felt like she had looked everywhere for some sort of new way to save Atticus. She couldn't seem to find anything though no matter how hard she tried. She didn't want to seem selfish and tell him that he can't just die. Because she needed him. She wasn't sure about how she would do when he would die. Her vision blurred as she began crying quietly then while staring at the ground, really not knowing what to say still.
Waiting to hear Shira's reply, Atticus would look to see her staring at the ground, but he also saw small drops coming from her. Without so much as a sound, Atticus sat up and position himself behind her, draping his arms over her shoulders and holding her tightly, "Why are you crying?" he asked. "You know that I hate it, when you cry. It pains me to see that beautiful face of yours stained with tears." Atticus stated, still embracing her.
Shira continued crying quietly for a few more moments "I am sorry... I just... I don't know what to do when you are gone... I am so used to you being by my side all the time that I just don't know what will happen when you aren't there." she explained as best as she could while sobbing a couple of times as she leaned against Atticus.
"There's only one thing you can do." Atticus stated. "You can continue to smile. You can continue to fight, continue protecting the people that you hold dear. Grow stronger and stronger and become a Shinigami, that surpasses all others." Atticus then paused, before continuing on. "Go on to live a life with no regrets, find a partner, more caring and loving then I, marry him, have a family. Just continue to be you." Atticus would then smile, "Just remember this. Even death can be beaten, if your will is strong enough." Atticus added, not really making sense.
Shira looked up at Atticus, staring up at him for a moment or two and nodded. "I don't think I can love anyone else like that besides you though..." she said quietly.
