XD I'm American, but my parents and I got hooked on Wallace and Gromit after the original shorts aired on public TV in the mid '90s. Although I feel so sorry for Gromit...he has to be the most longsuffering dog in animation history! Poor doggie!

I was raised with Wallace and Gromit...A Big Day Out, Wrong Trousers...etc.
Talking about Walace and Gromit, there was this big charity event last year and now there are a whole load of these Statues made by famous artists:

Just search Gromit Statues in Google biggrin

*squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* GROMIT!!!! He's soooo cuuuuuuuute! emotion_kirakira One of my best friends (LilChibiusa on here) bought me a Wallace doll at a charity shop when she went to England a few years ago. And I knit, so I actually got a set of knitted-toy designer Alan Dart's patterns for Wallace and Gromit characters. I've made a Gromit, and he's adorable! I need to make Shaun the Sheep too. Just because he's so cute! (I also like the spin-off show, Shaun the Sheep. I LOVE the dog, Bitzer! He cracks me up!)

Speaking of patterns, my mother made this for me when I was a little kid:
I kept stretching it so it lasted me years LOL

It's fine. And come to think of it, I think the pattern pack I bought that had the plush toys in it had some sweater patterns in it too! heart Too bad it's almost always too hot for sweaters (jumpers?) where I live. *sad face*
