She had gotten pretty far, feeling that she would take this to the end, the glider finding itself a straight path to the shrined island, her eyes taking in the beauty around her, before feeling the blessing next to her, picking it up and holding it close.

After having failed so many times before, Annabell was not terribly enthused to give thing whole flying thing another shot. But she had gotten so close so many times before that it felt a waste not to try again. Unfortunately it seemed she had forgotten how to crank the machine during her break. Hmmm...

After a careful few moments of consideration that involved a slow circle around the contraption, Annabell ended her concentration with a gasp. The crank! That was it! A smile bloomed on her face as she turned the thing and hopped on, giggling to herself as it took off into the fog.

Caution ruled Annabell's movements as she hung onto the glider, carefully leaning first one way to keep it steady and then another to bring it higher. But bringing it higher meant dangerous things as rage filled voice boomed and cracked like thunder in her ears. Startled, she abandoned her movements and ducked down, head hunched between her shoulders as she listened to the voice. Its words weren't easy to understand, and given how angrily it was shouting, the girl decided she really rather would prefer not to know.
