Siata - Argo's stall"Wherhandler Siata, nice to meet you," Siata gave the man her measurements with a bit of awkward writing and just as she'd told him where to find her, Adi popped up. Blueriding Adi, sweet and adorable, bouncy as ever. Siata turned to her, grinning wide. "Adi! Hey! I was just thinking about you the other day, didn't think you'd be trolling the Gather by yourself." The wherhandler looked down at herself and her one good arm, taking what she had into consideration. It only took a few seconds of consideration before she stepped closer and wrapped her arm around the smaller girls shoulders for a quick squeeze. "My back's fine, so you know. If you get the urge to hug or shoulder punch or push or something, that's where you'll want to do it. How've you been?" ----- K'yne - High StrikerAnyone less intelligent talking about bleach would have earned themselves a snark about how bleach should only be handled by those with an IQ. I'saak had a head on him and now a parasol in hand, he'd be safe from the bleach. "Mm. it ust means I get to boast about having the firelizard since he's the one with an actual one." It sounded fair to him. Then again, K'yne always had an interesting idea of fair. ... though he supposed dropping belt in front of I'saak meant I'saak should go pulling tunic in front of him as well. K'yne stared at him for a blank moment before he actually looked at the dagger itself. "Ahh. So that's what you were looking at before you wandered," He leaned in to look at it closer, fingers tightening around the toy to keep from touching at the decorative piece. "I am making several jokes about being happy to see me, I'saak. So you're aware. He's a bigger idiot than I thought if he doesn't like it."

C’ross – Wandering – 3 & 7/16 Marks
C’ross gave the healer a little nod of acknowledgement and farewell, then headed off back in the direction of the High Striker. He gave the little beribboned jar to Trill – no need to let I’saak and K’yne see that he’d gone back to get it, lest the teasing start up – with clear instructions for her to drop it on his bed. Hopefully Trill wouldn’t break the thing, but she was usually pretty good about following a clear mental image, even if she wasn’t good at taking initiative.
By the time he made it back over to the High Striker, K’yne was already holding his plush, and I’saak was…
…taking his shirt off?
Or at least lifting it to show K’yne something. Cue the confused expression. “Am I interrupting something?”

I'saak - High Strikers 2 1/8 marks
Oh Faranth, K'yne was making references to the dagger in his pocket and I'saak was suddenly realizing exactly the kind of predicament he had gotten himself into. "Thanks - I hope so," he muttered, acutely aware of the levels of awkward he had achieved. And then K'yne was leaning in and he was furiously trying to keep down the blush that he could feel rising in his cheeks, and his ears were burning -
And then C'ross showed up.
I'saak straightened up quite abruptly, pulling his tunic back down over the dagger and turning to face C'ross with a valiant attempt at keeping the flustered red out of his cheeks. It almost worked for about a second, and then he realized that his ears were still burning and he reached up instinctively to touch them, only to realize that his hair was still mussed from where Trill had preened him - he flattened it frantically. "Hi," he said, aware of how lame it sounded. "No, you're not." Yep. Definitely blushing. "Um. Did you get whatever you needed to from the bluerider?"

Adi - Argo's Stall2 marksHugs! Yay, hugs! Just a little squeeze, not a great big bear hug, but still! Adi positively beamed. "I really only just started, I'm just doing some shopping first. I knew I'd run into somebody eventually, and I did!" The courier made careful mental note that if she wanted to hug Siata, it was currently best done from behind, apparently. Right! "I've been great!" Well, mostly, except for fretting over all the things that happened, but those were over, so no worries! "How are you feeling? You're okay? We missed you while...while you were gone." That was the least distressing way of putting it.

K'yne - High striker
"Oh, good, you got the comment," said the huge troll of a horrible friend. He'd been leaning in further to get a better look, all innuendos of the more graphic sort forgotten in light of the craftsmanship. Then C'ross and his question, I'saak and his very obvious blushing. He straightened quickly enough, expression once again the usually bland mask he wore. "Interrupting?
"Yes, quite. We were having a moment," K'yne raised an eyebrow at the last word, voice deadpan. "He brought me a Psaumith. Bluerider?"

siata - argos stall
"I'm glad you're good, for one thing," siata waved her hand with another bright grin. She tucked it into her pocket, shoulders slouched to be more on the smaller girls level. "That you didn't get all mixed up in this. But I'm fine, honest. A little beat up but I'll be okay. It takes more than a tussle with a wher to get me down. ...for long, anyway, Healers say I have half a candlemark to wander."
She snorted good naturedly. "Ah well, I might dodge them. What'chu think about these leather bits? Were you looking at anything or just looking around for tall, dark, and striking such as myself?"

T'lon: T'lon's stall 3 Marks Earned: 1/16 mark For a few happy moments T'lon had to think of nothing more than getting the notes right and enjoying the song. Poth even got in the act, humming more or less along. She was far from musically trained, but she could more of less keep up with the tone of the song, if not any particular melody. It added a nice depth to the song, and T'lon briefly considered trying to teach her as well, before dismissing the idea. She'd probably forget the lessons too quickly to make any real progress. And then they reached the end of the song, finishing off with a flourish of pipe and trilling song (though Poth hummed for a note or two more before realizing the song was done.) T'lon was left trying to decide what to do next. He wanted nothing more than to just start up another song, but it was probably rude to more or less ignore the person playing along. So he turned to the boy and said quietly, "Want to pick the next song?" If he kept his voice low, not much above a mutter, it didn't sound too bad. Still rough, but not offensively so. Or at least he hoped so.

Adi - Argo's Stall2 marks"I'm glad you're alright. Siask is good, too?" Another smile, still stubbornly oblivious to the thought that it could have been much worse. "Just half a candlemark? But there's so much to do!" Shop, and eat, and play games, and hang out with Adi, of course, not to mention she probably wanted to see other friends, too. "Oh, these? They're pretty...I like the bodices! I got Maz a really nice flight harness, with feline fur, and Y'or's gonna trim it down and everything." As always, she was more than happy to chatter. "I tried the ring toss, but my aim's awful. I might get some ribbons still, or maybe...I think I saw someone with plants. I might look at those, later." "Is there anything you wanna do? I bet the infirmary food's awful, isn't it? We could find something good!"

Heill - T'lon's Stall - 1, 1/2 Marks He was grinning, this was a lot of fun. Maybe he would go back to the Harper Hall if this candidate thing didn't work out. He never really found drumming all that fun before, but today he was having a great time. Maybe he just needed someone to play with. Not to mention T'lon was alittle cute... When asked for the next song he shrugged. "I don't know that many by memory. I was only an apprentice. You pick and I'll just play along. I'm good at adding a beat and everything. I can even improvise if ya want." He tapped alittle on the drum. "I'm Heill by the way."

T'lon: T'lon's stall 3 Marks Earned: 1/16 mark T'lon nodded. At Heill's comments. That probably meant he could just switch from song to song as he liked then, which was all the better. At the boy's introduction, he nodded again and said, "Tlon." Then figuring he ought to introduce the rest of the chorus, he pointed a thumb over his shoulder and added, "of Poth," pointed at his brown firelizard, "with Echo," then at the little blue, "and Piper." Poth hummed and blinked at the boy as she was introduced, and the flits each chirped on hearing their name. Introductions done, he figured he'd done his duty with small talk and could get back to playing. He tapped the side of his flute for a moment as he considered what piece to perform next, then decided to do something quite different, since it was more fun to vary the styles of music. He selected a sea shanty that had been a favorite of one of his training Masters, and put aside the flute in favor of his panpipes. He whistled to his flits for attention, then played the introduction of the song. The joined in smoothly at the first verse, gleefully calling out the boisterous, repeating melody that was originally meant to help the sailors keep time while hauling lines or nets.

Jemi - Ring Toss 1 11/ 16 Points: 8
Jemi browsed the area, pausing at the Ring Toss game in interest. Games of luck were not really her skill set. Still, she could see Wen and Cai and teasing them both was always fun. She grinned wolfish, walking slowly behind them both and leaned foward. "Well, whacha doing?" She asked, offering a quarter mark to the vendor and taking the rings.
"Besides looking all lovebirdy?"

Well, that took care of their youngest sibling. Now, they should see about getting something for Hollin. "Do you think she'll like the bone combs?" Nash questioned, looking over the prizes. Not the toys.... a bracelet maybe? They had some nice copper ones.

Heill - T'lon's Stall - 1, 1/2 mark The boy nodded to each animal and smiled again, having never heard a song like this, but he slowly got the hang of it, hitting a beat he heard in the song and adding harder strikes as if he was instructing the sailors to row. It sounded quite nice to his ears and he looked at the dragon and the flits, hearing their singing. Everyone knew of the legend of Menolly and her singing flits and because of her, there was even a whole section of people at the Hall that trained their flits to sing along. He never thought he would play with someone who actually had them. He wondered what it would be like to have one. Maybe if he didn't get a dragon, he would have a Flit someday?

D'lin took the offered sip, mulling the wine over for a few moments before nodding his approval. "It is very good." He agreed with Ceta. "Perhaps we should buy a bottle to enjoy later." He suggested with a smile at the Vinter as she greeted him, knowing full well that she would have heard the exchange about buying a bottle. D'lin would likely buy a bottle regardless, it wasn't often that one had the chance to pick up nice things lately and a good glass of wine was sometimes just eh thing after a stressful day. Any further consideration on this subject was interrupted however as Ceta called out to Narisa and D'lin gave the Weyrwomen a cheerful smile. "Weyrwomen Narisa, a pleasure as always." He stated sincerely, although technically she was still a Jr Weyrwomen to D'lin's mind she fully deserved the full title and although he liked Kinda well enough still favored Narisa for the position once Abigail had tired of this competitive little game she had placed them in. "I'm doing well. Have only just arrived actually..but it seems as though everyone is enjoying themselves." He stated with a motion towards the crowd.

C’ross – Wandering – 3 & 7/16 Marks
I’saak was blushing. I’saak was blushing, and immediately after K’yne declared that they’d been having a Moment. Now C’ross was pretty sharding oblivious when it came to certain matters related to feelings. As far as he was concerned feelings ought to be things that happened to other people (mostly female sorts of people) or under clearly defined and socially appropriate circumstances. But he could tell when K’yne was having a laugh at him, because he wasn’t quite that thick.
C’ross responded to K’yne’s raised eyebrow with an equal quantity of deadpan. It was a particularly snarky arms race. “Lucky for you that I’m a master at ruining moments. Walked the tables and everything.” Turning back to I’saak, he absentmindedly fixed the greenrider’s ridiculously ruffled hair without even paying any mind to how odd that might look.
“V’lay just wanted to give me something.” He would decline to mention what that something was; it seemed like it ought to be a private thing between him and the older bluerider. “Do you mind if we stop by the leatherworker’s stall at some point? I want to look at flight jackets.”

I'saak - High Striker 2 1/16 marks
Well, this was going over well. I'saak opened his mouth to protest both K'yne and C'ross's assertions, but instead elected to keep quiet and blush deeper as C'ross fixed his hair and then waved off his stammering comments. V'lay had given him something? Well...I'saak was glad C'ross had found someone among the adult riders to keep an eye on him. It would be good for him to have a role model who didn't hate dragonriders.
"The tanners? Actually, I wanted to go look at that!" he said, smiling at the change of subject. "But before I go, I just want to -" he passed over a sixteenth-mark and picked up the mallet. "Just for fun, since I don't get to hit things with hammers all that much anymore," he added, and then swung.
The hit was...lackluster at best - and a little embarrassing. "...Guess I'm out of practice," he said, ducking his head awkwardly and hunching his shoulders. "C'mon - let's go hit up the leatherwork. K'yne, do you want to come with us?"
