Rin snatched the ring off the table with a stern glare directed at Melvin, "Don't trust me? Fine. But don't you dare make it out to be my ******** fault. I've told you everything. Don't believe it?" Rin placed the ring on her own finger.

Rep raised a brow. Melvin was wearing a truth ring and he'd just said in all honesty he wanted to kill him. That was jarring and more than a little upsetting.
He anxiously moved closer to Harrison, for all the good it would do considering he'd just asked if Melvin wanted to work with him. "Di..ddy..djew hear that?" he said, leaning on him without meaning to. "Wantsh to kill me." he buried his face against him. "I don't ********' like this ring thing."

"Hey, good on you," Lucky cheered back, raising his empty cup in a mock toast. "More vomen for ressht of us!"
He glanced in the direction of Rep, Harrison, and Jordan with an idiotic smile. "Uh, sssome of present company exclude, heh."

Melvin looked at Rin as she put on the ring as she felt she had something to prove. "Do I exhaust you with all my demands? Do you hate what I ask of you and will continue to ask of you for the entirety of what will be our relationship? Do you trust me or are you just desperate for someone to be with?"

Jordan moved over to lean on Rep's other side. "Yeah, well, wanting to kill people doesn't mean you're going to do anything about it." He was caught between feeling exhausted and a little smug, in a not-entirely-pleasant way. Melvin had won the previous round, but he was pretty sure that this one went to him, after everything was tallied up. "Gap between thinking and doing." The alcohol was making him feel like just draping himself over Rep and Harrison, but he wasn't quite that drunk yet.

Gnat, frowning very hard now, rooted around for a lonely bottle. Upon discovering one she immediately began chugging.
She'd lost. Again. Why was he always better and more likeable and -
glug glug.

"No, not really. It's mostly s**t that is just. No big deal. I mean. I'm not going to lie, I really hate the condom thing. Really really hate it. So that," It felt like a bit too much information for a public setting but he asked.
"As for trust? I did until a few minutes ago. How can I trust someone who doesn't trust me?" She shot Rep a quick glance too. Apparently this fact did not apply to just Melvin.

It was too late to ask Melvin if he'd really kill Rep, but Harrison didn't look happy about the prospect.
He'd been drinking pretty slow.
Rep had been knocking them back.
"It's just words," Harrison said, pulling Rep down into his lap before he knocked over the chair. "I wouldn't let that s**t happen."
If Jordan wanted to drape too, that would be ok.

Rin's attention shot to the person she did not yet Recognise, "No. I was an only child. My mother died after having me and my father never re-married." A bit more than Gnat asked but, well..

"I was working to getting to trust you." Melvin frowned, but he felt too hurt by many answers today that his body was trying to become numb. He knew present company was listening, and so he moved in to ask his next questions into her ear.
"Would you rather be with Rep if he wasn't with anyone? If it was between him and me?"

"S'a truth ring." Rep said forlornly. He hadn't been able to say anything he didn't mean. When he'd said he wanted people dead, when he'd said he would if he could, he had meant it. He could only assume Melvin did too, and that scared him, it meant that over a simple breach of loyalty, murder came into the equation.
He was glad of the lap, he'd been teetering precariously and he could ******** swear the room was spinny. It spun less with the guys nearby. Reaching over he affectionately and dazedly ran a hand across Jordan's arm. "You guysss. Yous would see me right wouldn't ye?"
Somewhere nearby Rin was talking and he made to tell her to shush but caught her comment about trust instead. "I did ******** trusshhht you. Then you had to climb on the ******** labshtick."
Oh yeah he could ask her things. "Who'dyo you like better. Me or him?"

Melvin just turned his head from where head whispered to Rin and just looked at Rep in shock. Not that Rep asked, but it had been pretty much the same question.

"Of course we would." Jordan leaned on the back of the chair and brushed a hand over Harrison's shoulder, then Rep's. "You're going to have a hangover. I'm getting you water," he decided, and stood up to suit actions to words.
This didn't mean he wasn't listening closely to the exchange. There was going to be some talking later.
