He held Rep's hand again, where it was drumming against his neck. It made him feel warm. Everything about Rep was like sunshine.
"So long as you don't hate me. Even if...even if you and Mel-ch..Melvin- I'd do anything for you. No matter what." His eyes were wet with sincerity and half-drowning.

Melvin was currently watching Ro make the worst impression of Rep ever and covering his mouth as he all but failed at covering up the fact he was laughing, but stopped when he heard his name uttered by Harrison, who was currently acting sickenly sweet with Rep after being fished out of the pool.
"Wait - what?" What did Harrison just say?

Roland was standing on the side of the pool topless, olive tan skin glistening with moisture as he ran a towel over his head. He turned for a moment as Nevada announced her, himself, her, on the board.
Huh, even as a boy her hair was still really lovely to look at.
And it was defiantly Nevada considering her sudden nap on the board. Then she was falling downward she hit the water hard, and worse yet she wasn't moving. Continuing his Rep impression. (Considering he just saved Harrison for real after a terrible dive) he ran out jumping back in tugging Nevada to the pool's edge.
"Nevada? Nevada wake up!" He gave her shoulders a shake but she or rather again, he. Wasn't responding. "Nonono this isn't the time for napping Nevada..." Without even pausing he wrapped his lips over Nevada's own, they had kissed once or twice, so it wasn't TOO odd, though in front of everyone, slender guy on slender guy. It was rather awkward but CPR was in order.
A few puffs of air, chest compression, more lip to lip action, compression. Repeat twice over. "Nevada wake up dammit! Don't you dare! Don't you dare stay asleep right now!"

As Ro went up to dive, Rep was filled with a decidedly murderous set of feelings. That wasn't what he was like...was it? He went from cocky and lazily content to suddenly and quite potently self concious. He wasn't sure if he wanted to drown Ro or leave.
But then Ro hit out with the very thing that cinched it on the side of preferring to drown Ro. Ace. That was his name for Harrison. His. He had very strong, very definite feelings about names and how they were used. And that one was his. It was offensive in ways swearing was not, and kicked him off into somewhere very uncomfortable.
He subtly sought out comfort instead, hugging Harrison just a little bit closer. But he was even self concious of that now, anxious that people observed things he hadn't thought of. He leaned a cheek against his - pushing away his discomfort in favour of reassuring Harrison "Don't be daft. I know." he grumbled, lowering his voice a fraction, just for him.
Melvin got a raised brow. "He's a wee bit confused."

Melvin crossed his arms and looked away. "Right. Confused. Better check he didn't hit his head too hard when he hit the water." He said, frowning as he looked to the side.
"We seriously need a swimming class at this place. Everyone's drowning at this rate." There should have been a lifeguard on duty to handle all the bad swimmers.

"We," Mark sniffled, within hearing range of most of the contestants, "Do not have a portal gun. I have a portal gun and it's still in prototype, I hope you know. Once I perfect it I will be able to-"
And then he realized he was still on the megaphone and quickly put himself on pause. Phew, that was close. Trade secrets. He coughed, loudly, and raised his weapon of justice up again. "All right, all right everyone settle down! You have climbed a sheer cliff of doom, you have rescued the damsel in distress, you have been shot, but now, as you lie in a pool of your own blood, you see someone approach you. A sexy Hunter lady with a sexy bikini on! Their sole purpose is to bandage you up, and create a lot of sexy sexual tension." A pause. "Now.... unfortunately, we seem to be a little short on actual ladies..." Uh oh. "So I'm just going to have to pair you guys up. No hard feelings or anything right?"
Mark began pointing at random, making circular motions as if to say "You two are on, let's get this done and over with." He sighed. "Okay, one of you has to be the lady, you gotta choose. Once you're ready it's time to say your lines. So, the lady like turns around to the guy, the sexy Hunter lady, you gotta lean over to show them your boobies okay, and say something like 'Are you okay? I saw you fall from that cliff, I have bandages and now I am going to bandage you sexily and give you sexy stares and stuff'. And then the guy says 'I will be okay but I have to go and rescue that damsel, she has the secret key to the underground factory where they are building a nuclear bomb that will go off any second!'"
Wait wasn't this movie about Hunters and maybe Hallowee-
-"And then the sexy lady has to feign shock and she will pull out a motorbike and be like 'Okay, I am very shocked but I will go with you to help sexily! Get on to this motorobike!'", Mark gestured to his prop, a bicycle taped with the words prop motorbike on it, "'Let's ride together and defeat that badass ********!!' or something. Make it convincing! I don't care who you think you are with this is quality acting okay, pure acting only!"
Another pause. "No homo." OOC: THE TANDEM SET Mark is pointing fingers at your duo. This marks which person he set you up with, which means you two have to act. Your characters can rp it out/ how to set it up as they wish, but each actor for each part, when they are ready to act it out, must post their post in SHOUT posts to show their casting performance. The second partner, when they are ready, simply quotes their partner and posts too in SHOUT posts a response. It doesn't have to be right next to each other, in terms of posts, but just pretend that it happened about the same time as the first post. - ICly each two players are auditioning at the same time, then followed by another two, etc etc - No homo- Candace and Nevada - Dakota and Roland - Marcus and Stormy - Lex and Jordan - Sherry and Bix - Harrison and Jason - Cass and Ofelia - Rep and Leon - Marcus and Melvin - Jerry and Solia - Jason and Madeline OOC: late OR did not post If you don't see your name in here or came in late, just have your character come in with an rp post and quote me. Nevada was doing a great impression of a plank on water.
No literally, she was planking the water.
She was having a very painful dream about stings on her body...his body? Oh that's right, she was a he and this was a dream and she had just jumped off a fifty foot board into water. Except she didn't remember jumping.
Instead she slid her eyes slowly awake to someone yelling in her ear and lips on her mouth...er his mouth. Because she was a he.
A couple coughs and a wider glance at Roland only equaled one thing:
"Your my hero Ferris Bueller."

Harrison looked startled at his name, and then his nickname, coming from the diving board attached to a garbled scottish accent. He just did not have enough skin to hold all the blushes he was having.
"Since you hugged," Harrison grumbled, but seemed to relax some at being held close.
Rep-kun didn't hate him. Why had he thought...?
"It's been a weird ******** day," he admitted. As Mark paired them off, he patted Rep's chest, "You just like, keep doing a good job out there." He raised his chin defiantly, "I'm gonna go do some pure quality acting," he took a breath, and turned away, heroic and intent, "s**t I've already forgotten the lines..."

Candace followed Mark's gesture to Nevada, who was all over Ro. Really, Ro was the only one of the two she actually recognized. Nevada was a lovely young woman, she wasn't used to Nevada being a lovely young man. It would take a minute for it to sink in who this was. "Hey partner," he crooned--wait crooned? Awkward--and put a hand on Nevada's shoulder. "ready to play hero?"Because obviously Candace was going to play the lady.

Nevada on the other hand was currently being mauled by Roland. Not really mauled, just being saved from being drowning. When she looked over though, another very attractive man was coming her way.
And was greeted with. "Hi there handsome..." But then he looked very famaliar...like she knew him. Or he knew him. "Candace?" There was a small muffled squeak as the male Nevada looked at the other woman...who made a VERY attractive man and then just.
"Oh...Well okay! I can play the hero. Roland you're going to have to disappear handsome." She didn't even bother moving from her spot, because the hero was on the ground anyways right?
She hesitated..."So what am I suppose to do gorgeous?" She switched over to the nickname for the lady instead. Because Candace was not a man, but was and a very handsome one but would it be awkward to call him handsome?

The disappointment at being split up was palpable and Rep was reluctant to let go. He did so grudgingly, anxiously glancing over at the guy Harrison had been paired off with. He looked familiar and a name presented itself. J something or other. From ..the horsemen battle? Hadn't he gone to a theme park on a mission with him even? His memory was s**t, but that didn't stop the immediate and predictable pang of jealousy. He tried not to think about it or he'd throw himself into an even steeper emotional spiral. He gave Harrison an encouraging pat on the rump. "Don't hurt yourself." Normally that was a joke. Today it felt like legitimate advice.
Taking a deep steadying breath, he turned to who he'd been partnered with.
He gave Leon the most unimpressed look he could muster.
"Listen right. I want one of these ******** computers. And I will act to get them. Whatever it ******** takes. Don't ******** this up for me."

Roland would soon find himself being tugged around by a much larger man, obviously a seme of the two. Dakota Rainstar had little patience and was still reeling from his Division leaser role.
"Look you little whlp, We got a show to put on and I need you to ace it. You're gonna have to be the hot babe but let me tell you, I know you ain't one. In face none of these dudes are." Dakota frowned at Roland, "And try to keep it no homo bro, I got a reputation to keep up."
He was after all the number 2 ladies man. Dr. H obviously number 1. Lex could die in a hole.

Marcus just stared at Mark. Just stared. If this was his idea of a horrible joke or not... he wasn't sure. He was really, really, not sure. He.. was with... two... people.... Well. Then.. that was... okay. Dis wasn't saying anything, rather, he was cackling as Marcus waved at the two other men(?) he'd been partnered with. "..........So." He crossed his arms. " No homo." He text Dakota just to be sure too.
