BOOM BOOM BOOM With a careful look around to see if Professor Red or the crying fire imp was around, Astra moved close to the booth and picked up a few darts, intent on trying to do a better job then before.
She didn't.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Makoto glanced at Maddy blankly for a very long moment after he responded. And then, without any preamble, burst into laughter. The demon smothered his mouth with one hand and wrapped the other around his waist, nearly buckling in half. It only lasted a short second, like an explosion of sound abruptly murdered by composure. "You - " He growled, straightening with a new, wild, devious glow in his eyes. "You are one very talented boil, I see. Is your clientele pleased by your knot tying abilities? Do you woo them into contracts with the way you pop cherries in your mouth?" He grinned, leaning in wickedly. "Or perhaps you even let others put them in?"
He leaned back abruptly, snatched the dart from Maddy's hand and pressed one finger to the boil's chin to angle his head up. "Keep me entertained like a good little kitten now, nekochama." He teased. "Perhaps I'll even test your knot tying abilities later, since you seem so pleased with them."
His eyes turned to Efflo, who seemed to be sullen but resigned to giving him a name. "Pleasure," He drawled in a smooth, slow tone. "Ah, are you blushing?" He leaned in close, prodding one of Efflo's cheeks. "Has the thought of cats and cherries gotten caught in your head?"
He laughed, leaning back and stealing a dart from Efflo's hands to throw at one of the balloons. This was, after all, at least an amusing past time.

BOOM BOOM BOOM With her last attempt, she at least got a few points this time. Oh well, some points were better then no points. She'd just have to try again later.
Although it still didn't leave her very happy about the whole situation. That being unable to hit a few simple balloons.

BOOM BOOM BOOM This shooting game was addicting. He picked up the darts and played the game again. There were people playing next to him and the booth keepers, the two grumpy minis seemed not caring anything. They just sat there. Weird.
Frankly he was distracted, by all the feathers and fur. He missed most and even hit two heartless down. The minis on booth seemed to give him a mocking smile, was that real?

BOOM BOOM BOOM This was his last round, his last try... he would have one of those fluffy mini's, if it was the last thing he did. Maybe he was way too focused for the task at hand... hardly taking the fun in the game, and more so the objective of obtaining what he desired. With that, he took his final try, before looking to Millie for her reaction on the matter; as if she were the one that held the power to decide whether he earned himself a pet or not.

Millie grinned at the horseman. For a few moments, the unsure look he gave her made him a bit adorable. Millie was starting to delight in being around this horseman who was unsure if he was having fun or not because it was such a strange concept for them both, certainly. "That's okay, we can come back tomorrow and try again. I didn't get anything my first day either." Millie looked around. "Did you want to pick the next booth or should we just wander around?"

BOOM BOOM BOOM Ok, next try again! The smile on the minis only made him want to touch them more. His attention was shifted to them for a moment, so his shoots missed in a row again and got a heartless down. The Behemoth Otokoyo snorted at his failure. AJ decided to show it his ability, he calmed himself, focused to the highest and threw three darts at once.

All hit and the lovely pink balloons pooped in a row. YES!

So he had failed. His gaze slowly panned back to the minipets that were set out on display... almost taunting him with their adorable puffy-fluffiness.. and it was then that he noticed the little signs that showed just how much each prize was. He had been so close. Rather disappointed in himself, mentally chastising and gathering his thoughts for the next time, he fell into a state where he became a little too engrossed with his thoughts... to a point that he almost missed what Millie said completely.
His head turned to look back at her, giving a very subtle nod in response. "Yes. I shall try again in the morrow." his voice was more serious than it needed to be, as well as the intense stare he gave her. But it lessened with the prospect of moving on. Did she not want to attempt winning a prize? It was probably not his place to question someone's choices. "are there more booths with thickly coated pets?" he asked, making a gesture with a tiny wing stretching to point back to the stands... where he gave a wistful stare to the prizes he'd missed out on.

Millie immediately felt sorry for him and tried to think of who might be giving out fluffy things. "Let's see..." she said aloud, for both their benefits. "Cricket was giving out flowers, well not really but there -are- flowers in that booth. There's a new shop that gives out birds of some kind. The scary forest gives out bonbons but I don't know if those are really fluffy... Maybe our best bet is back at the matchmaker booth. It had celoostas and those are pretty fluffy..." Millie snapped her fingers. "Wait, I got it. I hear truffles are fluffy and there's one place to get those easy." Millie grabbed his wrist and led him outside of the crowd. "I haven't been there yet, but from what I hear, I think you'll like it." she said as she dragged him to Luna's tent. musicaloner7 Maybe a tent full of pillows and bog sunekosuris will cheer him up XD

BOOM BOOM BOOM Let's do it one more time, and then......pestering time! The shooting was so-so, but he was satisfied. At least he got one point. After finishing the game, he looked at the fluffy minis, time for some fun!
He bounced towards the booth keepers, without noticing how dangerous that would be.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Maddy's face contorted slightly at the boil's saucy remark. But to be honest, it was a somewhat of a handy skill. At least he didn't get poked with the straight pins he had to hold between his lips as he hemmed a garment. Tilting his chin back from the demon's grasp, he reached for a few more darts. "Well, it certainly keeps them entertained during a slow night soiree. And if you truly demand to know, you'll have to wait til we're ... in more personal surroundings. Perhaps we could work out our own contract, Makoto-sama?? ..." He passed the inugami a sly wink, leaving it at that.
The cait sith was slowly beginning to pick up on the motions. At least Makoto wasn't trying to eat him this time. He aimed a dart at the row of balloons, and tossed, imagining it was Makoto's laughing face.Balloons Hit:

BOOM BOOM BOOM Leaving Maddy and Efflo alone momentarily to snatch more darts from wherever he could find them (namely Shoji's tail), Makoto settled back in front of the balloon stand and peered at the floating things with mild amusement. Aiming at them seemed almost silly in comparison to, say, aiming them at Maddy's tail, but he was not about to resist playing a game for the sake of, well, playing.
Leveling one with one of the balloons (which ones did he aim for again?), Makoto let loose a few stray darts, his ears flicking to and fro wildly at the popping sounds intermingling with the chatter of boils and ghouls all around. His lips leveled into a small smile.
Fun.
Glancing back at Maddy with an amused smirk, Makoto let his tail brush against the cats, his ears flickering as he growled low in his throat. "Oh, an invitation for a private show? Daring aren't you?" He laughed, shaking his head. "It appears we have a very different idea of what type of entertainment wills a slow night away."
