Adiyan was so very excited to have a fight, chuckling to himself that all the time at home he didn't know he would be this excited, well since most of the fighting he had done was from reading or when working on a stubborn stone that didn't want to come free. Oh how many stones has been broken under his temper. Hearing what the Voice was saying and agreed with it too. That didn't matter any longer as Adiyan started to feel so tired but he had to continue on as he didn't want to disappear like his kingdom did since he wanted to help the violet before he would consider even death also with the sky growing dark. Why was he still getting so sleepy as Adiyan continued to walk forward so very stubbornly trying to stop his fate. He didn't know that the air he was breathing was poisonous. He kept on reflecting on his past as Adiyan excitement started to decrease. Adiyan just wanted the sky to stop getting so dark were he could see where he was going to which his temper started to grow as he growled trying to stay awake. Adiyan had been wandering in circles since it had gotten so dark as the poison had been taking his sight along with his life. His temper was at full steam as he yelled at the sky and to at himself for not doing more with what life he had left. Then Adiyan stop as he could no longer yell since it was so hard to breath and now resigning to his fate. Sighing slightly as there was nothing he could do since he was so tired. Oh well Adiyan thought as it would seem that he would be disappearing like his kingdom, oh well at least he had tried not to as the poison took the rest of his life as he sat down for the last time. Every time the Voice appeared, it carried chaos and tragedy with its ominous words. Too many things seemed to happen all at once: the rebirth of the Silver King, soldiers from the White Kingdom gathering en masse around their king, only for one of them to raise a glowing crystal and... Time slowed as the commander collapsed. He offered some final words of comfort to his crew, caring for them until the very end, and then he fell deathly still. More than ever, Sinclair felt he had no right to witness this -- no right to stand by the crew who fought beside this man and now mourned a leader, a friend -- but surely even his grief meant something. He couldn't pretend he knew Wilson half as well as any of them did, but he had respected the man and his kindness enough to swear his allegiance to him, and surely that mattered. But Sinclair was not allowed long to grieve; the minutes sped up into triple-time, building into a horrible crescendo. Voices screaming for blood, for vengeance, cries of "traitor" -- people were dying, death choking the air like poison -- and Zephyros -- Zephyros -- Sinclair heard himself shrieking, garbled, senseless words that didn't matter. Zephyros had joined his commander. He was not the last. Above them, the sky rippled with blackness, gashes so dark they seemed to drain color from the world around them, and for one wild moment Sinclair thought the sky was falling and it would crush them all... He felt his feet move, but not towards the bodies. No, He sobbed. He wanted to be with them. They deserved that much. He had hardly known them and they were all he had left. But his feet carried him farther and farther away, even as his vision fogged, glasses utterly obscured with cracks and tears. Some unfathomable presence dragged him forcibly towards a location he didn't know. He protested with every thought, No no no no NO I want to stay I want to stay...OOC Current HP remaining: 48/50 Damage/Healing/Defense Done: None Target(s): None Rank Ability: Chance - Unused Kingdom Ability: None Character Kingdom: Silver, working for White Character's Miasma Colour: Silver Character Description: Sinclair is small and slight, with dark skin and even darker hair, clad in the rags of the Silver Kingdom. When had her world turned into a desolate wasteland. Others dropped around her. She heard a lullaby on a breeze that was suddenly poison to her lungs. It sounded like New Moon, singing. And then she was gone. Then, impossibly, Sun's King left, dropping the traitorous Amrita. He said he would speak with the Voice, but Sun had heard the Voice just moments ago. She looked around. The sky had broken at the horizons, void howling behind it and even now, eating at what was left. The Voice sounded like a recording on the fritz, and every breath burned in her lungs. She staggered over to Amrita, and grabbed onto her, not as an attack, but for support. Her legs weren't co-operating anymore. All her armor seemed to weigh her down. "Amrita. Was this- was this what you were talking about?" she demanded. She wanted answers. The world breaking around her. It looked like someone had broken the dome on a snow globe. Like they were an ill-used toy. And what did that say about her? "If we're fake, why does this hurt?" She was genuinely curious. She could feel that she didn't have long left, and under the pressure of such knowledge, the imperative to fight for a King who'd left the battlefield gave way to simple curiosity. For the briefest of moments, Amrita's chest constricted in fear. His grip was too tight, those vicious teeth too close, the anger too real. Her need for self preservation kicked in and her eyes narrowed, lips pulling back to bare her own much less impressive teeth. She dared. Oh did she ever dare. Scared or not, she was going down fighting. Hopefully she could take him down with her, at the very least. Use this closeness against him, for his own sake.
Her mind reeled with strategy and grasped at hopeful strings, and it wasn't until his grip loosened did she realize that the attack wasn't coming. In fact, he seemed distracted; and of course he was, the world was falling apart around them, the voice calling and beckoning, the tower rising in the distance.
The False Aymet's threat was responded to with a look of defiance. Really? Only then would he end her? Maybe he didn't notice that she'd been kicking his a**... "If you could, you would have done it already." Amrita challenged, her eyes narrowing. Before she could say more he was gone, and before she could run after him, Sun had grabbed her. Her initial reaction was to tense and prepare for pain, but when that didn't come she looked honestly confused.
Sun was...leaning on her for support? Why now? The girl had attacked her often enough... The truth became apparent quickly though, as the questions came. Amrita's arm snaked around the other's waist, helping to hold her up; she couldn't fault Sun for trying to hurt her earlier, she just couldn't.
"Yes." She confirmed softly, that sadness still lingering at the fraying edges of her mind. The next question was a good one; if it was all fake, why did it hurt? It was one she had to pause to think through, at least for a few moments. "...Because you think it's real." She decided, turning to wrap her arms around the other girl, drawing her into a hug. It was clear that the Sun was losing her, light, and so were the others around them; their world was breaking, and so were they.
"But it'll be over soon, I promise." A hand came up, gently stroking the back of the Shadow's head. A gesture that was meant to be comforting, and one she hoped proved that she really didn't have any ill will towards the girl.
"I'm sorry, Sun." Amrita whispered, tightening her hug as she paid the girl a mercy, overpowering her to end her pain.

Her sudden pulse of satisfaction was snuffed out when Nevena realized that everyone was dying. Dropping like flies, unable to stand the crushing, overwhelming power of the Voice. Her golden eyes blazed as she stared up at the sky, wondering just how long it would last.
"Oh, do shut up." She muttered at Aymet, glaring daggers even as she did what she could to clench her heart into steel. She could not afford to grieve right now, not with Merope and Night both--both--!
Taking a sharp breath, the girl turned and fled as soon as Amrita fell upon the Sun, unable to take much more of this.

[Adding in a few more reactions before exiting!]Despite his protests, Sinclair's feet continued to move, pulled as if by a puppeteer's strings. He had no control over them, but he still felt them: heavy, like slabs of lead groaning through the dirt. Turn back, He silently begged. Please. But they pressed forward, inch by aching inch. The strange structure was closer now. Sinclair still couldn't perceive what exactly it was supposed to be. At the moment, though, he didn't exactly care -- he tried to fight for control for his body, even though it was a battle he subconsciously knew, deep down, he would not win. A haze fogged over his eyes and his thoughts. He wanted to keep fighting... didn't he? He was so tired. So, so tired. Sun was grateful for the support of Amrita's arm. She didn't want to fall. She knew that if she did, she wouldn't get up again. She had time to list the parts of her going dark and useless as she waited for an answer. The void was eating at her, too.
The answer, when it came, was accompanied by an unexpected hug. Sun didn't have the energy to contemplate whether she cared that Amrita pitied her. Because she believed it was real? Yes, this was the only life she had known. Even finding her world being torn apart, that some greater force had declared Sun and her King fakes, figments of someone's imagination, it was still real to her.
Amrita reached up and stroked Sun's head, pulling back the hood Sun had always worn. Black hair spilled out and down, where it was tossed about by the poisonous wind. Sun looked up to meet Amrita's eyes. She smiled sadly at what she saw there. Would Amrita waste sadness on someone who wasn't real? She opened her mouth to ask, when the force hit her.
"I'm sorry, Sun."
Sun slumped in Amrita's arms. A shuddering exhalation came from the Shadow, but no inhalation followed. She faded away, claimed by the void.

He closed his eyes, just for a moment, he thought, just to give himself time to breathe. Just to gather his strength. The ground seemed to slip from under him. Then, he saw nothing but darkness. And then Roch died before he could protest what had happened. He watched in horror as the ground approached his face--
And was gone. He was finally facing the death he had feared so much. It was oddly... nice to get it over with.

She had no idea what was going on.
Just being here seemed to drain the existence out of her, clutching at her chest as she looked up to the broken sky. Why was it shattering before her very eyes? This whole situation wasn't right, and perhaps she could tell the best, knowing from the first instant that she heard that Silver Didn't Really Matter that something was so very wrong in Denmark. There was no way her Kingdom had simply never existed at all, and no matter what her theory was, something was ... very wrong here.
What was wrong with Sinclair? She saw the way he was beginning to slip down, and she scrambled over to go help him, but it was so hard to reach him. Every step she took made her feel like she was slipping further and further away, down and under herself. She could see why he was slipping. Nothing felt right about anything, anymore, and this was of no exception.
She cried out, clutching at her chest, feeling her miasma begin to slip away.Quote: Name: Nkosazana HP: 15/25 Kingdom: Silver Rank: Wild Card Rank Ability: Change Miasma Color: Silver Status: (Previous) Defending for 3. When she finally reached Sinclair, she was horrified.
He seemed impossible to reach, and when she did finally reach him, it was too late. The fellow Silver collapsed on the ground, fading away like any of those who had died in the past, and she felt herself weep. Perhaps she was weeping miasma, as she felt weaker and weaker as she watched, almost as if just existing was draining herself away. She did nothing but run towards someone, but yet, it seemed their fading away was spreading to her.
"So it's true," murmured Nkosazana, looking up to the sky. "The whole of existence is against us."
Unfortunate, really.Quote: Name: Nkosazana HP: 5/25 Kingdom: Silver Rank: Wild Card Rank Ability: Change Miasma Color: Silver Status: (Previous) Defending for 3.
