Kiera looked down to Shortstraw tenderly, before looking back. "I'd give even my own life for him to live. I'm not scared of my own undoing. Even if it was him who dealt it. I'd do anything for him." She was still in thought, however. As an old part of her mind struggled to surface. Shortstraw would be... her weakness. Once upon a time, she could and would have left him to die for something like that. But if that was the case, then she would have killed him a long time ago. He was already her weakness. "Just bring him back to me!" She snapped.

*The angle nodded* "it..." she folded out her hands, in one of them is the spear head. "is done..." she backed up, "but remember for you will suffer greater then any... now dear there is only one last thing to do. I have done what i can, but my heart is no longer, filled with dust and sand... you need to whisper him a reasion... and he will live yet agian... be be for worned, if it is of a selfish act it may have the oppisite effect..." she replied stepping back and sitting back ont he floor as she tossed the goblin the spearhead, "leave us..." The goblin nodded and fiddled witht he item as he turned to leave. Now shortstraw laid lifeless, his wound gone, waiting for kerias reasion... somthing that would make him revive...*

Kiera sat down carefully on the floor and laid Shortstraw on her lap, supporting his head with her arm. Mai nestled in front of them, putting his head on Shortstraw's knee as he whined. Kiera brought one hand onto Mai's head as she looked to Shortstraw. "If not live for me, live instead for the house we're going to build, live for Asher, as she would cease to exist without you, live for Dante, who loves us both very much, like for Soflora and your organisation, you've come so far with it already, live for Hikari who's got nowhere left to turn to but us, live for Veira, she cannot live without you the same as I, live... for your kid, Ava, and equally for Eve, she would not forgive you if you died." She smiled finally, the first time in a few days. "Live so that everything can be fine again." Mai whimpered.

*Slowly his hand twitched and his eyes slowly opened... "how can i do that... when everyone is broken apart... everyone fights... everyone blames one another..." she whispered with a tear down his cheek, meanwhile his eye closed agian. The angle just watched emotionless.
meanwhile after keria had gone in ((becuse i forgot about this till now)) Moon and Creasnent didnt' leave as intended before. Instead both found themselfs sitting and waiting with diffrent looks on both of there faces. They had been through this before... Moon spoke softly, "i wonder if he will make it."

Kiera dipped her head to his chest as she almost started crying with happiness. "We can sort that, can't we? You and I together. You once said that we can do anything working together. Even though everything's been torn away lately, I still think what you said is true. We can work through it. All it takes is a little push." Mai lifted his head and watched them both, before he turned his head to look at the Angel.

*Shortstraw nodded, "but i said that so long ago, and nothing changed... we grew more apart. Everyone started fighting eachother, everyone became ferious. Everyone has lost, I just want to wake up knowing everyone and everything that should be there..." he opened his eyes, "is there." He nodded, "i've been trying so hard... to just keep going no matters whats been thown at me, i feel cold... empty... lost..." he replied, his eyes not fully colored just yet. meanwhile the angle nodded, "i shall see both of you again... go now doughter of the sun, child of tide, and continue you path..." she looked downa s the room started to shake, the place started to shink again into the sand...
Menawhile moon looked up, "what is that..." Creasent shied, "she failed I guess. Usless trip." She stood and turned away to head back through the cave...

Kiera looked around herself and put a hand on Mai before she teleported them both into safety, and several meters from the others. There, Kiera lowered her head again, while Mai bounded over to the others happily and practically slammed Dante to the floor. Kiera lifted her head looking to Shortstraw with no longer clouded eyes. "Just because it was so long ago, doesn't mean it still doesn't apply. Do you not believe in us any more? Now that I'm permanently back, I can promise you that I will do all that I can to be of use. I'll help you to the ends of the earth. Because I love you Shortstraw." Asher was just about to walk over to them both, before Dante grabbed her tail, making her screech. "Leave them for a bit, 'kay?" Asher grumbled. "When did you get all sentimental?"

*Shortstraw had his tears flowing out of his eyes. Somhow he doughted what she said. She would leave him again, and it would be just another empty promus just like the ones before. But he couldn't say that outloud... he didn't want her to think he didn't care, he did. "I... still belive... but so far it just... more and more promus... and tommorow things will be the same, we will end up fighting someone and lossing somthing else. There will be secrites and broken promuses just like always." He hugged her, closeing his eyes, "you still have to prove it... at least i can give you that chance still. I love you too."

Kiera hugged him back gratefully, although knew there was still some doubt in him. She'd have to do her best, she knew that. She was determined to do her best from now on. And as she glanced to Mai over Shortstraw's shoulder, Mai stared back with the same eagerness. When she recoiled from the hug she smiled and rubbed her eyes. "Then I'm glad I still have the chance to regain myself." Asher finally escaped out of Dante's grasp and raced over to Shortstraw. "Shortstraw! Are you all right? Did everything go all right? Are you hurt anywhere now?"
Meanwhile, back at the castle. A figure slipped through the front door, right past the living room where Hikari was napping, and up the stairs. The beady scarlet eyes scanned the room which she used to sleep in as Amelie shifted her neck uncomfortably under her new... collar. She instantly made her way over to the bedside drawers and emptied all the hundreds of packets of blood tablets into a bag at her side, before she moved onto the wardrobe.

*Shortstraw chukkled and actully picked up Asher and hugged her tight, "i'm fine Asher don't worry. Your not dieing today." He chukkled and held both Asher and halfway onto keria as he looked to the others... "who are they?" He asked confussed looking to Moon and Creasent. Soflora smiled, "yep he's back."

Asher hadn't quite got used to the hugs yet, but it was growing on her. Kiera smiled. "They're the ones who helped us and guided us here. We wouldn't have got you back without them." Asher nodded. "They were a great help." Kiera buried her head into Shortstraw's shoulder again. "I'm just so glad you're back." Asher swatted Kiera's face with her tail as she jumped off them both and motioned for them to get up. "I sure hope you're going to teleport us back, Kiera. I'm not sure Dante would be able to take another trip like that." Dante huffed as he walked closer now. "I could so! I was just bluffing before. I never back down." Kiera laughed. "Sure, sure. I could tell by how you were sprawled out on that rock earlier, gasping for air like a beached whale." Dante frowned. "Hey!" Asher and Kiera both laughed.
Amelie only just finished packing all of her clothes and opened the bedroom door to leave when she was confronted with Hikari in the hallway, carrying some dirty sheets and was about to move onto the room Amelie was in. Obviously reluctantly. But even so, that was not the situation at hand. Hikari almost dropped all the sheets. "A...Amelie?" Amelie blinked a couple of times before she raced down the hall. "What? No. No Amelie here. You must be mistaken, that woman is dead and gone. Sorry, must dash. Bye." She rushed down the stairs, but Hikari was hot on her trail. "Wait!"

*Shortstraw nodded and stood up, pulling keria with him. "I don't mean to sound... selfish or anything like that, and i appreshait all of you being here to help me. But there is somthing missing still..." He looked to Keria, "and i'm sorry if this really feels wrong... but i know in a situation like that Veria would have been here. And i called her multable times, even through the sprit realm while i was in tht state... while we were in the... whereever we were, i felt a change, veria dissapeared off my spirt realm world thingy... i mean it was as if she released me from her curse, or it vanished... if shes not here then... where is she?" He seemed alittle worry looking to keria, this wasn't probably what keria would want to here, but she would understnad he was right, with shortstraw close to death, she would have been there...*

Kiera's hand twitched once, before she licked her lips. "Who cares where she is?" She then walked forward a little and knelled beside Mai, who happily took all of her attention. Kiera looked to Asher as she balanced her head on Mai's back. "Do you know?" Asher shook her head. "Nah, I dunno. Although I agree, it is a little weird." Kiera frowned. "I suppose we should look for her, then." She said almost reluctantly.
Hikari was faster than Amelie, and stopped her before she reached the door, no longer holding the sheets. "It is you." Amelie held her hands up defensively. "All right. You got me red handed. It's me." Hikari frowned. "What's that around your neck?" It wasn't exactly subtle. That giant collar that looked more like a neck bracer they used in hospitals. "This thing is the exact reason why I shouldn't be here right now." She glanced around nervously. "Will you let me go, please?" She actually used the word please. Hikari's eyes thinned. "Where are you going?" Amelie licked her lips anxiously. "Far away from here." Amelie quickly slipped past Hikari and outside, where she ran down the path. Hikari grabbed her arm and span her around.

*Shortstraw looked to Keria and nodded* "Keria i need to talk to you a minet alone." He pulled her to her feet and pulled her downt he cave a ways before turning back to her. This time they were alone, "I know that it's sorta a kick after what you did for me... but Veria would have done the same for you... both of you are connected to me. And it feels off... just like the time you left for three years... it felt off." He sofened up, "we have to look after our familiy right... dosn't she count. And i pulled you over here becuse... this is us working together. Like you said we would..."

Kiera blinked a couple of times as her hand stopped twitching and she nodded complacently. "I know. I owe her too much anyway. I'm not against the idea at all. It's nothing. I'm fine. Lets work together on this Shortstraw." She smiled again, folding her hands in front of her like an obedient little girl. "Something might have happened. We better get a move on." Asher looked to the cave then back to Dante with a scrunched up face. "Urgh."
"So you're just leaving?!" Amelie looked to her sister with a blank face. "Our time is overspent here, sister. Yuji left us. It's our turn to move on. There's nothing left for us." Hikari shook her head. "No Amelie. There's nothing left for you. Yuji left you. Yuji is still here with me and Dante." Amelie's face suddenly turned sour in reaction to that. "I'm going regardless. You're either with me or you're not. This is what we always do, Hikari. Have you forgotten that?" Hikari blinked slowly as she thought, then took one step away from Amelie and clasped her hands together. "We're sisters, Amelie. Nothing will ever change that." She took a breath. "But you're a bad person. And I'm done following you." Amelie's expression went cold. "Fine." She walked a little closer to Hikari and sighed. "You know, it took me a while to realise this after I attempted to kill myself. But I don't want to die yet. I want to leave an imprint on this world. I want everyone on this planet to know my name and ******** fear it." Hikari looked like she was about to cry. "You were nothing more to me but an expendable pawn." She smirked triumphantly. "Watch out for the name Amelie Madison, big sister." She turned around. "See you in hell." Amelie finally disappeared from sight, leaving Hikari in a mess.
