 Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne sighed when the Lt still refused to speak the truth. The professor told her this was a last resort and she was only able to use it once. She had to now or be tried for treason. The professor would be upset but he would understand. "No detective. She lies.....and I can prove it." She said and with a sigh she turned the end of the rapier towards her own face. With another sigh and a shiver as she braced herself she plunged the first inch of the blade into her remaining eye, wriggling it a bit until the eye popped out and landed on the ground by her severed arm, the black ooze leaking out of her left socket. A clear symbol that eye wasn't meant to be taken out or able to be put back. "Show me...the last ten minutes...." Madilyne said with a shakey breath and sat against the tree as a green mist came out of the pupil of the eye and formed a hazey screen. The screen flickered then the image of Madilyne and the Lt appeared, standing where they were moments before the sapphire was found. From there her eye played out the entire scenario leading up to the moment right when the blade was plunged into it...then the mist evaporated to nothing and the eye shattered. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Alexis
 The Detective and Alexis both gasped when Madilyne took out her own eye, but they were silent as the events replayed before them. Slowly, a small smile came across Detective Meyer's face. "An interesting ability," he said as the scenes faded. "She's-she's lying! It's her own eye, she might be able to make it show whatever she wants!" Detective Meyers looked down at the ground and began slowly walking around the area. "True," he said, "But her version of events bares out in the evidence." He pointed at the ground. "These are the deepest imprints meaning this is where you two stood the longest. They're facing each other, and then this set here moves swiftly towards the other set. The attack clearly wasn't a surprise. You were both facing each other during the first attack. Also, your prints quickly move in and out several times, meaning you were taking an offensive stance while Madilyne's are in mostly the same area meaning she took a defensive stance."The detective looked back up at the two. "Which is enough evidence to prove that Madilyne is telling the truth. Lieutenant, I'm ashamed of you. Madilyne is our guest here on this island and a representative of the DWMA! I...know why you hate the DWMA and the like so much, but what happened isn't Madilyne's fault or the DWMA's. Don't think this will go unpunished!" He glared at the Lieutenant as he reached into her pocket and pulled out the Sapphire. He checked it's authenticity and nodded. "It's the real deal," he said. He looked at Madilyne. "Would you kindly give Lt. Alexis her sword back? And Alexis please give Madilyne her hand and eye back."

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne sat silently as the detective spoke, trying to concentrate on something. Her concentration was broke when she heard her name and nodded, holding out the rapier blindly for whoever to take. "I'll just take my arm.....my eye is gone. The professor will have to replace them both." She said and stood. She had no eyes....her sight was gone but she was still able to function. She placed her hand still attached over her leaking socket and waited further instruction. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Alexis
Lt. Alexis had an angry glare on her face the entire time, snatching her rapier back and sheathing it. Slowly she reached down and took Madilyne's arm, holding it out to her. She only held it by the very tips of her fingers, clearly disgusted by it. The detective waited until the exchange took place, his arms folded. When it had, he frown in thought for a moment, then slowly reached out, holding the Sapphire out to Madilyne. "While you two were searching, I got a call from the governor of the island. He wanted you to have the Sapphire. He told me it would be safer in DWMA hands than it would be in ours. The recent events have caused him to lose confidence in the local forces." He looked at the Lieutenant. "And I'm sure this little incident won't help." He looked back at Madilyne. "So, we trust the Sapphire of Sorrow to you." The Lieutenant began to protest but was silenced by a sharp glare from the Detective. "Madilyne, I'm truly sorry about all of this. And know that we appreciate everything you've done for us. We couldn't have done it without you. Your boat at the docks is ready to leave whenever you are."Mission Complete!

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne took her arm and stood, letting it cling to one of her dress belts for now as her head turned to the detective as he spoke to her. At the mention of her reward and what it was her mouth hung open lightly. "Oh...thank you. " she said after gaining the sapphire and bowing slightly. At the apology she nodded. "It's alright. I figured not many people would like me when I was sent out. But father always has a reason. I do not take it personal." She replied and thought for a second on leaving and decided maybe it was best but offered her services just in case. "Thank you.....and if you need my help again i would be glad to offer it.......oh and detective...." her hollow eye sockets faced him as though she were looking right at him. "There is a spy in this mission.....I dont know who but i know he is a detective as well........ if there is anything i can further do....please let me know." With her final words she gave another bow and waited for a reply before leaving. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The detective gave her a smile, despite being slightly unnerved by the fact that she seemed to see him. "Thank you for the offer, but the other two teams should be able to handle the two remaining Sapphires," he replied. The Lieutenant said nothing, her face downcast. "Don't worry about this incident, we'll get it cleared up no problem."

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne made her way to the ship and got on quietly, thinking to herself. She felt the sapphire in her hand and decided to tuck it safely in one of her pockets after boarding. She then gave a small wave in the direction of the detective and Lt. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
