Cornelius bent down and kissed her once more as she accepted the diamond. "It's okay if you have nothing to offer. You I'm sure will give me fine children."

Janis blushed but was none-the-less pleased. She leaned against him, happy in his embrace. She wanted to stay that way, but finally, she spoke.
"Still need that nap?" she said, a smile playing across her face.

"Yes, I feel like a good nap would suit me fine. We can enjoy each other's company if you want to." Cornelius suggested.

Janis smiled. "Of course." she said, still holding his hand. They took their time going back to their home. There wasn't any need to rush. They had all the time in the world.
Samson watch them for while before letting his own memories overtake him. Memoried of his wife and they're life. As they started to leave he whispered to the open air.
"I with you were here to see this Liadan." He missed her so much it was a constant ache. But he'd promised he would keep moving forward.

Fey of Silver Light Janis smiled. "Of course." she said, still holding his hand. They took their time going back to their home. There wasn't any need to rush. They had all the time in the world. Samson watch them for while before letting his own memories overtake him. Memoried of his wife and they're life. As they started to leave he whispered to the open air. "I with you were here to see this Liadan." He missed her so much it was a constant ache. But he'd promised he would keep moving forward. Cornelius walked up to the house with her and opened the door once he stepped inside he helped Janis in and looked around for the bed he had moved into the house. He moved over to it and sat down on it patting the sheet. "You should come over here and sleep this bed is sure to be nice." He told Janis as he lay down on it.

Janis hopped on the bed. It was soft with the right amount of softness. Flopping back she sighed.
"This is nice." she said, rolling over so she was facing Cornelius. "Where did you get it anyway."

"This is my mother and father's bed." Cornelius replied as he moved in close to Janis. "We can sleep on it here though since that's what it's used for. No sense in wasting a good bed, even if it might be a family heirloom." He reached out and stroked a few strands of her black hair.

Janis felt her skin tingle a little as his finger lightly brushed her skin while he stroked her hair.
"I see." she said. She would have liked to meet them. it would be nice to have another female dragon to talk too. And be able to say she had in-laws.
She looked at Cornelius's face searchingly and then smile. "I think they wouldn't mind."
She tilted her head and touched her lips to his, kissing him lightly. "Love you." she whispered, smiling as she curled up closer.

She would have liked to meet them. it would be nice to have another female dragon to talk too. And be able to say she had in-laws. She looked at Cornelius's face searchingly and then smile. "I think they wouldn't mind." She tilted her head and touched her lips to his, kissing him lightly. "Love you." she whispered, smiling as she curled up closer. Cornelius thought about what she said and knew that his mother and father weren't around anymore. He curled up next to her after she kissed him and said, "Aren't we going to have children now? Maybe one attempt... Please..." He didn't exactly know why he was begging and asking this, but it was probably because without her he seemed a bit lonely. If she were asleep he wasn't certain he could do anything but worry about her.

Janis opened her eyes and grinned. "I didn't really thing you wanted a nap." she said with a giggled. "You know, you didn't have to ask."
Janis kissed him again, this time passionately, pressing herself against him.

Cornelius kissed her back and reached his hands out towards her shoulder blades. He gripped the white straps of her wedding dress and noticed how well made the cloth was due to its softness. "I think we'll enjoy this," he told her.

A week after that first night, Janis woke to another day. That first night had been wonderful and there had been several nights like it. During the day they worked on finishing their cave.
For the first time in awhile, Janis didn't wake at sunrise as was her usual habit. She felt groggy as she finally sat up and looked out the window. It was almost noon. Her eyes widened and she quietly got up. She had to sit back down as the sudden movement made her dizzy.
"I can't believe I slept in." she said with a yawn, looking around for Cornelius.

"I can't believe I slept in." she said with a yawn, looking around for Cornelius. Cornelius walked into the cave, he'd been out since very early this morning put last minute touches on the cave. His claws were muddy and his mane a bit disheveled as he flew up from the cave and approached Janis and their house. He saw her lying next to the window in their home from outside and quickly turned back into a human. When he stepped inside their home he walked over to Janis and heard her say, "I can't believe I slept in." Cornelius smiled trying to hide any worry he might have and said, "You were probably just really tired last night. We can move into the cave if you want today and live there from now on."

Janis brightened at the thought. "That sounds great. So we'll be moving our things in." she stated, excited. She walked over the her closet and pulled out something to wear.
"Have you had breakfast today? Need me to cook somthing?" she asked, over her shoulder. "I know I'm hungry."

Fey of Silver Light Janis brightened at the thought. "That sounds great. So we'll be moving our things in." she stated, excited. She walked over the her closet and pulled out something to wear. "Have you had breakfast today? Need me to cook somthing?" she asked, over her shoulder. "I know I'm hungry." Cornelius shook his head no and said, "If you want to cook something you can. I'm hungry." He then proceeded to sit on the bed in their room. "I'm glad you're excited about the move. The cave is very large and will offer more than enough room for the two of us. Perhaps, now that it is done, you can see what it's like to eat, sleep, and live the life of a dragon."
