[Serenity : Land of Departure : Gym]

At the start of the class, Serenity did exactly like she always did, do her gymastic stretches. Warming herself up for whatever was to come. Meanwhile her kitten galiant was sitting on one of the benches napping.

She looked around at the other students of her class that were just visiting with one another. Serenity, being extremely shy, and the youngest of her classmates, had yet to find her niche with everyone. During the course of the last week, she spent most of the time alone, working on her gymnastics.

Though she was starting to miss her home. Being at the school, was the first she was ever so far away from her mother and father for so long. It was making her feel somewhat lonely.

Serenity let out a soft sigh and stood up, finishing her stretches, awaiting the teacher to tell them what to do next.

Serenity followed after the group as the exercise began. Though she started in the back of the line, it wasn't long before she passed half of the class and was almost leading the group.

Marie woke up to the sound of the whistle. She watched the group with their exercise for awhile, however that soon bored the kitten. She got up, stretching her back, then walked around the benches. The kitten soon got fascinated with a bit of Amelia's clothes. She started to swat at her playfully.

Marie let out a slight meow paired with a purr as she looked up at the captain.

"Oh excuse me," she said as she sat gave a slight bow, "My name is Marie. And you are?"

[Rebecca :: Kingdom Academy :: Gym]

Rebecca inwardly groaned when their gym teacher had mentioned running laps. ‘Tacticians running laps. This is going to be boring,’ Rebecca thought before keeping her face neutral for the teacher. “Nice to see you again Mr. Notu,” Rebecca respectfully greeted.

Iago on the other hand could not keep his beak shut. “HA! Rebecca running. Rebecca hasn’t had to run since-“ Iago was cut off as soon as Rebecca clamped a hand over his mouth.

“Stop it Iago. I don’t want conflict. Also stop embarrassing me or else I am making you run laps on your claws” Rebecca smirked before, being the good student she was, jogging at the back before speeding up enough to catch up with the middle-front part of the class running laps.

Iago on the other hand flew off to the sidelines trying to think of a way to get Rebecca back but mostly trying not to be the one to fly laps around the gym. There was no way he would be able to keep up with that girl.

{Mizu, Master Aqua .:. Land of Departure .:. Intermediate Magic Class}

Aqua shook her head at the size of Cloe's shield, then raised one finger to call down a weak bolt of Thunder.

"Now that just won't do," she admonished lightly as the bubble popped. "It's much too small, Cloe. You can't move in that little bubble. What's the good in hiding in it if you can't do anything to retaliate? I want you to practice this shield. Try to expand it, make it so you can move instead of curling up in a ball. Once you can do that, we can work on making it thicker so it can stand up to an attack." She smiled at her young pupil, placing one hand encouragingly on the tiny girl's shoulder before moving on to Ferven.

"So, have you decided to focus on Gravity spells, Ferven?" she asked, looking up at him where he floated on his stomach. "Or are you just pretending to practice as an excuse to be lazy?" Her slight smile and teasing tone belied the stern expression in her eyes. The boy was good enough he could have easily advanced to fifth year already, but he never bothered to put in any effort in his classes. How he'd made it to fourth year, Aqua wasn't entirely sure.



{Zack, Master Terra .:. Land of Departure .:. Advanced Combat Class}

"Hey, no problem! I could go bare-handed against you if you'd prefer," Zack said, immediately willing to do just about anything Ziko asked, sparring-wise. He dropped into a crouch, fists up and feet apart, but ready to draw his sword if she wanted.

Terra began pacing around the perimeter of the class, watching his students carefully to see where they needed improvement. Apparently, actually starting to spar when they were told was one of the things they all needed help with.

"You can start any time now," he called to the group.

[ Cael : Land of Departure : Advanced Combat Class ]

Cael watched his glide. Watched his speed, his direction, his angular momentum, all things with which Cael was intimately familiar. Had to be as a dragon knight, after all--you spent a lot of your time in the air.

Eh, play it safe.

It happened in one swift motion. His left arm lifted the tip of the spear and helped the right arm bring the whole weapon above his shoulder; both hands let go the moment they'd added their force; the right hand changed angles and grabbed the spear, his elbow below it now, before pulling back and launching it forward. He'd thrown it just slightly ahead, predicting that Artemis' forward momentum would put him in the path of the spearhead. 'Course, if gliding allowed someone to change directions effortlessly and ignore momentum, well, that would make things interesting.

[[Zuben : Land of Departure : Gym]]

Zuben had been the last to arrive to the gym, rubbing his eyes furriously to try and hide that he'd been asleep right down the hall.

"Told you you shouldn't have shown up to class that early," Kovu laughed, grinning devilishly at the boy, "You fell asleep waiting."

"No fair Kovu... I was trying to make a good impression, besides, you were asleep too."

"I'm not the one here for class," the lion closed his lips and simply smirked, looking at the boy cower out of the corner of his eye, "Looks like they're running laps. If you're lucky, you can slip in along the back of the pack and not be noticed... too much."

"Eeeeeh," the boy wined quietly as he moved forward, arms crossed over his chest while wishing the stance could just make him disappear. As sever of the kids passed by, he slipped in the back and started running at a leisurely pace.

[Ferven: Land of Departure: Intermediate Magic Class]

Ferven was blushing, even grinning as Aqua gave him some praise. It stayed even when she asked if he'd at least try to go into fifth year.

Of course, as she turned away to move to the next student, Cheshire's tail curved around, the big, fluffy tail covering the lower half of Ferv's face as the grin fell behind it.

Aqua seemed to think he could do well. A small part of him thought he could make it easily, too, if he just put the effort into it. But...a large part wasn't on the same page. A large part always had that lingering, nagging question...

What if I'm not good enough?

With a deep inhale, the male let out a large sigh, the tail coming away as his grin was back. It wasn't as 'bright' as before, but nothing he could have done about that. So...he turned to a few empty crates nearby, and with a sigh, sent them floating into the air, just like he had been only moments ago.
