She hadn't seen it happen from behind her, but When Holly whizzed by, she felt a shock unlike anything she'd had before. It sounded like the ghost fox had apologized, but there was a continuous tingling all over her that forced her to respond belatedly. S'alrigHHUGHH~!! Then of course she got hit by a demon. Head first into the steering wheel, she stalled again. These things hit. Hard. Breathing a bit heavily, she hoisted herself back up with a somewhat slouched back. It would take a minute for her to regain momentum in this thing. What.How.They'd passed her by, but it wasn't intentional at least in Holly's case. ... She'd get back at him once she figured out how to maneuver this new age machine. hmm... Looking down at the pedal and such, she was able to initiate speed... right into West. Nice. She didn't get too far though... (( HP: 13 - 2 = 11/30 Tile #5 Hit: West ))

Holly was a bit surprised that Savior was going as fast as she was, was that ghoul a natural at this or what? For a moment she spun out of control when Savior hit her but she got control back, luckily. Seemed the other two were both further behind. "Come on West, Savior is beating ya!" Levi on the other hand would get more encouragement. Holly hit the gas on her boat again, she speed along faster this time and bumped Savior again. "Levi, try the pedal near ya foot!" ((Spot: 6+7=13)) ((Guys can we all put current tile in occ)) ((hp: 33-1= 32)) Bump!

Push down a pedal? What pedal? Savior didn't see a ...oh, that. With the general assumption that anything yelled back meant it was for everyone to follow the Marrowstripe stomped her foot down onto the pedal, a strong blow considering the surprising lack of leg room. It rocketed her right on pass Holly, a strong bump delivered in the process, and the monster giggled like a maniac as she zoomed on through most of the course.
The water splashing around her was rather refreshing and she was so far ahead from the others . . . .

And...then all good things had to come to an end. With her foot still smashed down on the pedal Savior just kept going, and going...until her boat contacted with what looked like to be a pier at the end. Having suddenly found herself entirely free of being locked inside her orange companion, the monster was tossed unceremoniously onto the dock area. A loud grunt was her only indication that she was still functioning, but it wasn't such a bad thing.
"Oh. Savior done! SAVIOR DONE!" She got to her feet and punched her fists into the air, so jackin' pleased with herself for getting there first. Through the last two games she'd come in last place, a horrible feat, but now! Now she had won!
GO SAVIOR GO.

Savior had seemed to heard the comment she had said. Holly watched as the other ghoul zoomed to the end. It was just that easy. "Good going Savior! Just wait there for us." Like there was anywhere else to go anyway.
Holly turned back and noticed the other two hadn't moved yet. Oh well. She went to hit the gas and her foot tapped the side of the gas. What was that, like one entire space or something? Awesome.

She wasn't going to waste time trying to bicker with him if she didn't have to. Holly was already near the end and Savior had made it across safely. She looked back only for a moment to grin, then pressed on the pedal. She'd gained roughly the same amount of distance as earlier before stopping again. hmmm~ Was something loose on this thing?

"HEY!" West shouted. Levi sped past him, her boat smacking into his before stopping right in front of him, but he couldn't seem to move forward any further while she was still parked there. Stupid boat. Stupid house. Stupid Levi, stupid Holly, stupid Savior. He heard the Marrowstripe's cry of victory and scowled down at his traitorous man-pink vehicle.
"COME ON!" He stomped on the pedal. The boat moved a whole foot.

Holly hit the gas, this time. Finally! Her boat thing speed forward quite a ways this time! Seriously what was the trick to this? She was almost to the end so she stopped for a moment to see where the other two where. Levi was still having troubles? Ah, well the ghoul would figure it out sooner or later. West she had expected to pick the driving thing up quicker. "Try the other pedal?" There were two pedals, right?

kekeke~ As terrible as she was with this whole driving thing, she had managed to at least get a rise out of the boil. It was worth the tiring brainpower she used to concentrate on keeping herself mobile.
Wait- they had two pedals?
I don't see whar- She moved. Did she touch something down by the pedal? Was that where this other pedal was?

If the ghouls had listened very carefully, they might have been able to hear an irritated sigh over the sound of the water beneath them. West knew about the two pedals, thank you very much, the lever too, but none of them seemed to be--
He tapped his foot gingerly on the going-forwardy pedal and shot... forward. Finally. It seemed this boat responded well to a gentler touch. Too bad for it.

Holly watched the other two finally get a better hold on their boat things. They were indeed making better progress and Savior was still waiting for them at the end. Holly tapped her pedal lightly and shot forward. Holy Jack, she held on or might have gone flying. Or not since they were magiced into the seats.
Her boat his the end of the course. A weight lifted and the ghoul jumped out onto land next to Savior. Land, sweet land. "Almost there guys!"

He was catching up again. Just give it a lil' nudge, West! Like she knew how to operate her own. She coiled her tail down in towards her feet so she could perhaps have another limb working these pedals. Three was better than two, right?
Erk-! It might have worked better had she not stomped on her own tail going for the same pedal as her tail. Ouch~

West glared daggers at the tatzel's boat, but brightened a bit when he saw that her last attempt at progress fell very short. He would show her.
"Dun tell me how t'drive, ghoul," he muttered, tapping the pedal as softly as he could manage. Too bad it wasn't softly enough. He lurched forward, his boat stopping so abruptly that it splashed a bit of water up into his face.

Hope ya'll ain't givin' me lip, boil. Raising a brow at her own wriggling manner, getting that tail into it's own place, she tried to side glance back to the bird demon. Don't ya make me come back thar...
Wait. That was the opposite of what she was trying to do here.
She heard a splash from behind just then; she couldn't see him but did inquire about his well-being despite the previous threat. Eh... ya didn't fall in, did ya? Hey, it was still showing concern.
While she wasn't paying attention, a heavy foot and tail nudged her boat forward until she'd picked up off of them. She'd have to make sure her teammate hadn't drowned, right? ... Not like she could dive in given being stuck, that is...

"C'mon back!" he said, laughing. "See who'll win then!" That's right. The stakes had been raised. This was now a competition. Like it hadn't been before. Whatever.
His foot was still digging the pedal into the floor of his boat, so he slowly let it up, gliding forward slightly before coming to a gentle stop. Behind her. Still.
