Manfread was using his sword like a shield deflecting incoming fire, he was still wounded from the previous battle. Luckily he had taken no damage yet, he extended his vision and something appeared around the boat.
“Hey! there! Something's trying to catch us with our pants down... I mean surprise attack from there!” he said as he grabbed a kunai launcher from the sailor in the crow's nest and began to fire down at the new enemy. He dropped the weapon and attached his sword to his back, then using Shunshin no jutus (body flicker) he would jump to one of the enemy ships. The battle seemed to distract him from his fear.
As he landed on the bow of the ship he formed a few hand seals and launched a great fire ball into the enemy crew and at the vessel itself. Then running forwards he would hack at the artillery and any crew in his way. Manfread knew it would be easier for everyone else if he could take one of the ships down now, so he ignored his pain and kept moving reopening a few of the more larger wounds.

Howaido turned swiftly as he leaped off of the boat and into the air he caught must of the traps early by firing white chakra waves to slice them in half to fall harmlessly in the water or on the boats. He continued the barrage to try and take out some of the fliers and ease the opposition. They were close and now was their chance,"Alvard, Zane with me to the left!" Howaido landed on the water and dashed for the boat on the left using Explosive Movement to utilize a few short chakra bursts. He flipped up onto the boats stern side as he bared all of his weapons to bring down his will onto the enemy. "Time for you bastards to jump ship!"

The water began bubbling in three distinct areas as the enemy attack commenced: one near Mononoke's ship, and two on the other side of the enemy ships. The fur-clad golem fired several arrows in to the barrels of each cannon that was firing immediately after the first few fired their shots, and then dove in to the water that was bubbling near her ship. In addition to swimming downward, she would look around for automatons and destroy any that she could find.
When the kunai-launching trap fell toward her ship, the Princess made sure that it did not land. She extended an arm, caught the trap, and threw it back toward an incoming cannonball without pause, knocking it out of the air. It was getting difficult to see in the late evening hours, though, so she learned of the other two when skipped across the deck of her ship and the other one grazed her.
With haste, Bast activated Kekkai Houin (E-Rank, +5) and created a large net to capture the remaining cannonballs mid-flight. With the ships safe for now, she reached down and released the speed seal on the ship with a Tebanasu Fuuin (E-Rank). When she felt her agility return, she turned to face the next threats.

Akane kept firing his senbon up at the fliers with his puppet, paying only attention to what was in his sights. As he saw a ninja dash past his reign of sight. Akane pulled back stopping his fire, Akane was caught off guard by that. He had forgot that Lucas was up there as he was down here... Akane looked at Sanshouuo, his giant shield sticking out like a giant sore thumb to Akane. He used his chakra strings, moving the arm's and legs of the Salamander so it sat on its belly flat, he positioned it correctly aiming it to the biggest mass of fliers. Akane activated his Chakra Connector, a small red light on the top appeared, and a small thread shot out of it, jabbing into Sanshouuo's Tail, this reduced the amount of fingers needed to use Sanshouuo.
He then stepped onto the shied of Snashouuo and crouched down, looking at one of the Flier's, he then with a flick of a finger, was gone. The shield had raised and Akane leaped forwards, launched into the sky! Akane went striaght for a Flier, his wrists began to split, and threads reached out gripping onto the side of the flier, my like a grappling hook, the thread made Akane spin landing him on the top of the Automaton Flier, He then connected more threads to the machine then plunged his hand into the gut of the flier, grabbing the power source and putting his own chakra into it. Akane grinned, he was going to use this flier as his own, If the creature denied his chakra, he'd then release chakra strings into the Automatons, and with this close of range could, he then looked around pulling to the side out of the group and then did a giant loop in the sky, up and over, Akane was now behind the fliers with his own! He then pulled on his finger and began to fire the automatons weapons against it's own once-were-allies.

Lucas landed and launched himself off up and out just enough to get between the boat and the incoming projectiles and avoiding akane, so their plans wouldn't hit, using shunshin. almost immediately he would inhale and exhale a colourless and odorless gass just below him with the airial explosion technique and would light it with a flair technique. with the massive wind this created he would be launched into the air saved only by douka this would send him high enough hopefully to be able to make physical contact with the high fliers. if he was able to direct himself in the air currents as well as he was trying and due to his douka enhancement it would become much easier he would attempt to latch onto one of the fliers and he would attempt to encase it and take over the body of the construct. he would then use the body to combat the other high flying assailents and be able to drop down into the ocean if need be.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgXaNt6NfkM&feature=relatedIn his villiant and great effort to go to one of the other automaton ships, Manny would then be almost immedeatly wrapped up in a torrential amount of wind, a tornado trap, that would have powerful cutting winds. this trap would hold the ninja tight, though this was after his fireball technique tore through a good chunk of the remaining automatons on the vessel. The Hyuuga would hear a voice comming from the stair case leading into the inside of the mettalic ship. "Ahoy there, land lubber. What is it with ye ninja types always trying to stop me booty collecting. Well, have fun here....ima go play some more." Jumpin over board, the man dissapeared.

Howaido's movement spurred motion on the ships he was attack, electric green like energy being shot around like a thunder storm. Being in range, it was very possible for Howaido, or anyone else to be caught with this technique. He could see a good grouping of automatons, but them seemed to be waiting for something else, desipte this electric attack on him.
Mononoke was a beast, and seemingly finding the automatons raising from the water was more then enough to get a small advantage....if their were so few in number. The large numbers of automatons were so vast that mononoke was unable to destroy them all, and some began to climb up the ship. Princess's arrows would hit the cannons of one ships, though it still had yet to fire again, and the other arrows were defended by automatons seemingly jumping in front of them, sacrificing themselves for the good of the cannons. Bast's barrier would be the most effective thing, saving the shps from certain distruction as the cannon balls were caught, dissipating and becoming completely harmless. However, automatons began to clmb up and over the sides of bother the sannin and her golems ships, seemingly looking to board and attack.

With seemingly perfect precision and timing, Akane found himself a glider. Attatched to this glide was a rapid kunai launcher, that ran off the same scrolls and reload style that a puppet would. It seemed the puppet user had taken to the air. But this didnt go without a price, as 3 flights turned their attention to akane and instantly began firing, kunai approaching from low behiend, up and left, and from dead ahead.
Lucas proved his usefullness as the flair and fire tchnqiues easly roasted some of the fliers, as he too was able to grab a flier. If he could assist Akane, then maybe they stood a chance doing soemthing they were untrained in, and in a style of combat they were unfamiliar with. On lucas as well, 4 flights of fliers began to shoot kunai at him, this time all were behind him, and he would surely have a ******** of a dogfight ahead of him.
The ferocity and style of combat the automatons began to display was something less of human, being almost animalistic. Bast would find her ship now about to be boarded, as was mononoke ship already had a few casualties due to the large number of automatons already on the ship. It seemed the ninja had their work cut out for them, and hopefully they could survive it....

Manfread was feeling the pain as the tornado whipped him around like a rag doll. After barfing and having a few more of his wounds reopened, Manfreadd was pissed and having the enemy taunt him only added fuel to the fire of his rage.
“Its because your a fat a** who can't fight like a man, you butt pirate, puddle lover, yellow bellied sea sponge!” he shouted angrily from with in the trap, “Let me out of here so I can kick the sh*t out of you, I'll tear you to pieces!”
Grabbing the sword he tried to use the weight of the weapon to propel himself to the deck by swinging it with a lot of strength, where his bracers would sink into the wood and keep him out of the air. If it worked he might be able to claw his way out and back into the fight.

Akane's rampage on the gliders seemed to be cutting shorter and shorter as he drew more and more attention towards himself. As a kunai flew past his face it grazed his cheek, he winced a bit a squinted in the small amount of pain.. it was like someone had flicked him though... Akane was use to pain since his bloodline made it so he was not sensitive to pain... He looked over to see the glider on his left, but then was hit in the back of his shoulder with another kunai, this time it dug deep, sticking out of his back. He gritted his teeth, looking behind him... Her looked around him, he saw that he was surrounded! "Dammit..." He said with an angered look, he then thought for a second and thought of a plan, he went forwards, racing the flier that was coming at him. This would hurt a lot... Akane gritted his teeth to the incoming pain. As the glider came right at his, he raised his hand in the air and scooped down on his glider, his amrs extended and the threads on his shoulder's elbows and wrists. Yes he was going to do that....
As he ducked under the glider, his hand grabbed onto the face of the glider, he held on tight and wrapped his legs around his own glider. Kunai dug into his back one after another. He cringed as three more hit him, almost hitting his heart. He angled his glider a bit to rise up once more and when his threads reached their limits, like a hug tug of war, the gliders were caught in a circular motion. Akane held tightly as his glider lifted up completely controlling the other gliders movements. Akane took a deep breath and made a handsign with his free hand. He then breathed out releasing a mist, like the trail behind a plane at a festival, the mist covered a vast area.After a while, Akane let go of the other glider sending it flying uncontrollably at another glider within the Mist Waltz Technique.
Akane's glider was going straight up now due to the force of the swing given from the glider he had connected to. He then turned back, the kunai's making his not as manuverable. He breather in once more and performed a few handsigns. He faced the Mist Waltz and made sure lucas was not in it. He then put his hand up to his mouth and released a furious ball of flames towards the fliers and the mist waltz. If the Fireball were to hit the Mist Waltz, and it was heading for it, it would ignite the mist and cause a huge explosion of fire. This making it horrible for the gliders within it, and not to mention the back draft of the flames sucking in the air would send a lot more out of control.
Akane looked down at the boats, they weren't doing to well... He gritted his teeth pulling out one of the kunai's, the one closest to one of his hearts... he then turned and began to go low, helping with the effort of Mononoke's Boat, beginning to fire Kunai's at the Automatons. Sanshouuo was still stationary on Bast's Boat.

The bubbling water turned in to an upward torrent, churning powerfully enough that it would likely suck automatons from the ships and forcibly drag them upward and across the surface of the water, possibly with their pirate leader. For those who could see far enough underwater--via Byakugan, or by swimming downward--the ghostly hulls of three large ships were rising from the depths. All aquatic life that could flee began doing so as quickly as possible.
"Everyone, hold on to something!" Bast shouted over the mess as she formed a Kaze Bunshin. The clone quickly created a barrier to hold all of the crew comfortably on the decks of the ships while protecting them. "Lucas and Akane, this one's for you guys to pick up!"
Both Bast and her clone inhaled, and then began to sing two matching parts of an opera. Blue-black Chakra sparked between the woman and her clone for a moment as their voices pierced through the night.
Resonance achieved. Specification: Gravity's Double Helix.
Everything would seem to lurch as the gravity in the area not only inverted, but quadrupled in intensity. Water began swirling upward in vortexes, sucking all of the ships downward because, since water could not escape upward through them, it followed the currents and pulled out from under the ships, creating a vacuum that the ships sought to fill. Thus, they were pulled down instead of up. The crew members, the Basts, and the Princess were all held firmly to the decks of the ships. The flying people would likely have no troubles dealing with the gravity for the short time that the woman would sustain this technique, but those who weren't properly affixed to their respective ships were another story entirely, and would probably have to be rescued if they didn't affix themselves to something.

Lucas knew he was out of his element but he was devising a plan to deal with the other fliers. first however he needed to avoid being struck by the attacks. who know what would go along with being hit by a kunai from those things. as he flew away he could sense the change in gravity and used it to his advantage. being as high as he was he simply ducked down towards the water that was begining to rise. he hoped the other fliers would follow suit. if they did they would find themselves caught up in a net made of steel that happened to be more of lucas. with this he would be able to expand himself onto the fliers that were caught in it. those who weren't caught he would deal with later. the net had formed a cavity within his form and so he would use the incendiary technique to create a sticky explosive substance within the cavity. he would then use the speed of his dive to slingshot himself to fly just over an enemy ship and drop the sticky substance on it. he would double back and fire down more bed of fire creating a special chakra based oil to cover the boat. with this he would rise back upwards to combat more fliers and would blow the boat by igniting the oil with his chakra causing the incendiary sticky explosive to blow up making it even more deadly. with all this the heat from the fires below would help Lucas to rise up faster to go to the aid of Akane. he would begin to fire off what looked like senbon at them but were in fact more of himself so that if they hit he could simply expand himself onto the fliers.
any extra fliers he'd obtained by expanding over them and taking control of the bodies would begin to circle the friendly boats in a non-threatening way. with this he could easilly aid in any needed situation for the boats while Lucas continued with the origionally taken flier in his dog fights. he would send the first two he took over to go ahead and fly in a large circle to set up a perimeter so no enemy ship could escape.

Howaido coated his swords with chakra as he readied to defend the oncoming green attacks. His Final Words ability coming in handy here, he could here the sounds of the changes almost before Basts warning reached him, as there were closer more apparent warnings. "Movement of Steel..." defaulting from defending the attacks he handled everything in one move and swiftly vanished as he landed instantly as fast as he vanished onto the ships deck. The boat rocked heavily under the sudden increase of the muscular mans weight. Cementing himself to the boat with both chakra in his feet and by planting both swords cleanly as deep as they could go in the boat he readied for the explosion of enveloping water. The change in gravity was quick, but with his superior strength he could withstand it as if walking under gravity barely a tenth heavier than normal gravity. Soon the change was over and the ships emerged again, jerking his swords out of the water he prepared to vanquish any remaining automatons and take this ship for Sunagakure.

Going into "Bast mode" Bast seemed to have a technique for everything. The automatons on the ships got sucked into the vortex, undoubably being crushed and destroyed. Ths ships too, sinking and having unfortunate problems with flotation as well as the strain of gravity became quickly destroyed. With all this destruction, it was a surprise if anyone was left. Both lucas and Akane flying would find that their tails and enemies had lost their "conciousness" and fallen into the gravity void.
Meanwhile, an the ship with Manny, a man was seen crawlling back on his ship. "******** this!.....damn these ninja..." After touching his sword, manny would feel like he was being pulled through a worm hole. It was like being reverse summoned, but way worse of a feeling. The others would notice that the one ship was once again back on the distance, out by the horizon, by a island.
The captain, utterly impressed with Bast and the ninja, spoke. "That was...unbelievable....."
[time to go catch them again guys!}

Akane saw the damage of the gravitational skill... Crushing the boats and sucking away all of the targets... It was... It was unbelievable, he used the momentum to swirl around the sky, although the gravity was heavy, it was also give a glider some greater performance. When the technique ended Akane looked behind him... the sky was empty except for him and Lucas. All of the Gliders were taken down, either by fire, gravity, or lucas. It was... It was crazy. Akane decided to glide back down but his teammate Manny caught his attention. Akane saw what was happening to him, he was being sucked into a worm hole?! Akane looked back at Bast and the others, he had a choice, return to his comrades and allow one to be sucked up or go and help his fellow genin... Akane gritted his teeth... He looked at Manny and tilted his glider. He was going straight for the wormhole! Before he went in he pulled out a clock work bird and threw it in the air, it began to flap it's wings and flew to Bast...
Akane reached the worm hole and reached out grabbing his hand, but instead of pulling him out, was sucked in also.. Akane felt the pain "AugH!" The Glider poofed in a puff of smoke and so did Sanshouuo, they were both, and so was Akane.
The small clockwork bird flapped over to Bast, it landed on her hand and a speaker went off "I'm sorry Bast-sensei... But you told me to look after my teammate."

Manfread was not happy, having made it onto the enemy ship only to be turned into shredded cheese be a wind trap. Running through ideas in his head Manfread came up with a solution. And then he was suddenly warped along with the entire ship to..... who knows where. Nice chunky barf rolled around in the spinning wind as Manfread emptied his gut.
“Revenge will be mind!” he swore under his breath in between vomiting and whipping his mouth, if he was not suddenly so enraged he would have been hyperventilating, but the sudden retreat and shift in scenery, made Manfread berserk with primal fury. Thinking like a demon, he reasoned that if he could over charge the trap with a jutsu of his own then it may shut down and let him go. Forming a few hand seals Manfread prepared a Great fire ball[ Katon Goukakyuu no jutsu], before he realized that it may back fire and turn into a deadly flaming tornado of death. He unleashed his flames into the wind going in the opposite direction and prayed that it didn't turn into a fiery coffin, so he could beat the cowards to death.
