"Well..we don't ave to like it" B3 stated as she looked at the map "But nothing on this islands seems designed around what we like anyways..so sicking together sounds like the best choice to me" She told the others before turning and following B7 through the rows of corn towards this supposed lighthouse - if nothing else perhaps it would give them a better insight about what was out there.
She was a bit sad to leaving the cornfield though - what if 8 had survived somehow? What if he came looking for the group and they'd already left - but she didn't need to be thinking of that she told herself..no she needed to be thinking about her own survival right now.

Mechanically cracking her neck in her kneeling position, X overheard the commanding horse-thing and scoffed at the pendant as it faded off after just leaving it there. Some grand prize... that was not what she wanted
...where...when...where-
She hadn't noticed that the whole while E5 had already returned to the field with the others; possibly due to the fact that voices were hard to recognize at this point. X didn't really know any of these bodies well enough. There was, however, B7...
B7... she did hear the tone in that specific figures voice. That was recognizable. At first impression, B7 was annoying but proved useful when she was slicing into an enemy. Allies. pfft. All the noise of chatter pertaining to being allies. It didn't matter to X. With her new found joy, all figures had a slightly tantalizing look to them.
Then again... X had found joy when she was given the opportunity to attack E3 along with the others. It was almost as much fun watching someone else brutalize a writhing body as it was doing it herself.
calculating calculating...
96 foes were alot to take on. Given this new information, those standing in the field were but a drop in the bucket compared to the outside locations. She'd hold from attacking anyone in the pink and blue suits for now- they were her allies after all....
It was a strategical point to follow "the boss" (B7) out of the field and onward to bigger, greater...and more delicious things...

(even though I won't make it)
E7 frowned, and tried once again to get to the pendant even though he'd only managed one step. He sighed as he listened to those around him speaking there wasn't much he could say or had to say.
He shifted wondering how far he could get this time. He seemed to be having nothing but bad luck on this trip.

Quite honestly, she been expecting the horse to do something stupid like that. Tell them it'd give the pendant to the one who remained standing, and then make them all race for it. It wasn't even a clean race! The horse had obviously rigged it somehow, cause E-1 didn't think they were all tired enough to trip and stumble that much.
It seemed a lot of the others had decided to venture out into other territories, and the more E-1 thought about it, the more she had to admit that what they'd said made sense. What if two groups from some other location joined up? Today had been a lesson in how effective an entire gang was against a few individuals. She watched as a good number of the Beta members left the field, then turned back toward that small glowing beacon.
Well, she'd said she wanted the pendant, and she still did. She had to try. For E-3. Gritting her teeth, E-1 made a dash for it.

[ε XI :: GOING AFTER :: the pendant]
There were so many leaving, giving up and others unsuccessful on both sides. ε XI rose to head for the prize. What she might do with it afterward, she had no idea. It would certainly make her (or whoever she might give it to) a target, but the alternatives weren't much better.
She didn't want to die at the end of this.
She made good progress at first.

Some of the blues took off, parting on mostly good terms and inviting anyone who wanted to come along. But other blues were still hanging around. Including B-4, who was still nearby, gesturing with his gun. By now, the blues who'd left were probably too far to hear if something went down again.
E-13 considered his knife. He still owed that guy, Hairpin. And if started in, the rest of the pinks would too. He'd seen how they'd worked before. They could finish off the remaining blues no problem, and then...and then, he still wasn't feeling to healthy. And ultimately, there wasn't blue, pink, red, yellow. There was 1, 2, 3, 4...
Better to wait.
"I'm gonna wait," he said aloud, to whoever was still remaining, "I want to see who gets the thing." After all, while he didn't necessarily want it right now, that might be important to keep track of.

[ε XI :: GOING AFTER :: the pendant]
Would this pendant make her the target of her own teammates? That would be unfortunate, but ε XI assumed it was likely. If the pendant could somehow keep her from harm or maybe even transport her away from this retched place, that would... but no. She couldn't get her hopes up now. She might not even reach it before the rest anyway.
Perhaps it was the worry, perhaps the injuries she'd sustained, but something made her falter. She didn't stop to see what it was that made her trip. Her only thought was to keep going.

If anyone was setting their sights on Before, he was the last one to know. But even if he did, he wasn't going to protest. He did deserve payback for all the s**t he did (accidentally! :C ). When his teammates were heading out, Before quickly followed after them. But just before Before disappeared from the crash site, he turned to ET, "We're going now! Good luck with painting the kill-me-now-sign, I mean pendant-getting!" There is a big goofy grin on his mouth as if he just made the most hilarious joke (no, Before, it's just you that thinks it).

[ε XI :: GOING AFTER :: the pendant]
ε XI picked herself back up and went for it again. At the very least she should grab the thing for the team, even though only one could profit from it in the end.
Still, she didn't get even halfway there. Had the fall injured her further or was she really just that exhausted from the battle before. It didn't really make sense.

“I see,” E-12 said, nodding in E-13’s direction. Ninety other people on the island, eh? Well, that would account for the other people from her classroom dream (memory??). A true cease fire with the Betas would save a lot of lives, but it was too little too late in E-12’s opinion. Why did they go straight to killing? Why did we respond in kind? Are we savages?
E-12 watched the people running for the pendant while absentmindedly scratching her knife in the dirt. Several Betas had attempted the run and then gave up and headed into the corn. Well, good. E-12 didn’t trust them even if they were operating under a cease fire agreement. Had they even actually agreed to one? The fighting had ended for the time being, but what would happen the next time they crossed paths?
“I’ll wait too,” E-12 agreed with E-13, she needed to see things through to the end. “I want to see what E-3 died for.” She added bitterly. E-12 wanted nothing to do with the pendant.
Well, nothing until day seven, that is.

E-5 remained sitting the ground, waiting on someone else to snag the pendant, he didn't feel the need in trying again however others were still trying and so far only E-4 was the only one bold enough or had the capabilities of getting close to it. Giving a bit of a chuckle when she didn't reach it he lounged back avoiding E-8 looking up to the purple hue of the sky that started to show through the fading fog. Some of the beta's team had left heading out now that they were able to clearly see where they were going however a chunk of the pink team seemed resistant in leaving. He would just follow where they went helping out when he could that was if he didn't keep hitting himself in the face with the nunchucks that was.
"I'll wait here with ya E-13," he replied not taking his eyes off the sky.

B9 sighed. What to do? For now she'd just wait and watch to see who would get the pendant. She'd make her move after that. Didn't want to get randomly backstabbed by leaving by herself. "Um, beta people? Can I go with one of you..." B9 didn't mind leaving just didn't want to be by herself.

"I'll wait too." E-4 announced, though she cast the departing group a lingering stare. She considered following after them but, honestly, she would be far more comfortable if she was with at least one other pink, and it didn't look like any of the others had decided to follow. So, she decided to stay behind, pulling her gaze away from the retreating group and instead focusing on her allies.
Stepping towards E-13, she jerked her head in the direction of the pendant. "I couldn't get too close to it. Only a step away, but for some reason, I couldn't bring myself to reach for it. Why aren't you taking a go at it?" She turned to look at the others, including those who were, or had been, trying their luck. "I don't feel comfortable leaving it there. With this fog gone, other teams can come in and make a grab for it."
Well, she supposed that they could always revert back to their original plan if it came to that.

ε IX remained where she was, but relaxed from her kneeling position to just plain sitting as the horse disappeared. The pendant was quite tempting now that it was possibly within reach, but... Was it worth it? She weighed her options, silent and impassive behind the concealing gas mask. The dagger went back into its sheath at her belt, near the phone. "Aw, hell," she muttered as she belatedly noticed the message waiting. Well, at least it didn't apply to me. I'll have to be more careful in the future or it might be my head, she thought grimly after reading over the text. Wonder what all that was about though.
Easing back into a reclining position with the phone stowed away again, she stuck her legs out in front of her and leaned on her elbows, watching the show before her unfold. She could care less who got the pendant at the moment so long as she could keep an eye on them. This might be a good opportunity for forging alliances... possibly to break them later, when the time was right.
She vaguely wondered if she had been this feral in her former life. No telling, really. For now it was better to be vicious and alive than compassionate and dead, right? In the meantime, she'd tag along with these other pink people and collect anyone else useful who fell into their path. At the very least, there would be safety in numbers if this competition was as cutthroat as she thought. The downside was that the numbers meant more people to watch your back around. Or your front, she amended, eying the stark evidence of that in the form of blood on the ground.
She coughed, casting a look around at those who remained, "Anyone else gonna give it a try, eh? I don't particularly want to have that horse monster pop up again because we managed to bungle another order." She gave a short bark of a laugh before adding, "I don't think the pendant will bite."

The pendant above E-4 for several long minutes after her decision to stay and then.. .it dropped into her hand. An unpleasantly familiar voice boomed overhead, "So you stay and persevere even when at a loss? Take it." A low chuckle follows, and then it's suddenly easier for everyone still in the area to move around without stumbling and falling. "Take it and beware the hunters, if you would stand tall until the end." It's final words faded away to nothing, along any sense of the horse's presence. The OOC E-4 has won the pendant, the horse is truly gone! You may still rp in this area, but after this point it is a normal ORP!
