He nods in return "I was wondering by when I came across this though there was not much I could do for the villagers when I arrived it was to late but perhaps killing off the raiders will give some peace to the lost souls..." He turns to the village and kneels unsheathing his sword as he begins a small chant then stabbing the blade into the earth with a vibrant hum as a light blue wave of energy spreads from the sword across the village extinguishing the flambes leaving just the chard remains of the buildings he stands removing the sword and then sheathing it. "Well its time I be leaving... nice meeting you." He walks up toward the hill where his things and the path lay.

Usagi had completly spaced out, so when Vanya barked at her she jumped startled.She laughed at the exitment in his voice though and nodded. "well lead the way" she replied.

Bouncing a little, Vanya headed southwest, keeping to the end of the mountains and loping along ahead, scouting the area before trotting back to lead usagi, not letting her out of his sight at any time. He ignored his side, knowing that he wouldn't have to worry about it for a while, and knowing that Usagi was tired enough after healing him the first time.

Usagi had paused and waited each time he would leave to scout ahead. She didn't dare think to move, because she honestly had no clue as to where they were at. She was o close to passing out already. Using magick to heal Vanya and then to fight while she was so tired already was waying on her. She shook her head to keep her eyes from drooping staying silent as she walked.

Seeing how tired she was, Vanya scouted one last time, finding a small cave, big enough for the two of them, with a comfortable enough base to sleep on. Loping back, wincing at the pain in his side, he nuzzled her hand, leading her to his find and lying down on one side. Turning his head, he set to cleaning his fur, maing a face at the coppery taste of blood around the gashes, but making sure to clean them out so as to avoid infection.

Usagi followed him into what she thought might be a cave. It was different han what she was used to, but she didn't mind. She sat down on the ground leaning against the wall of the cave. It felt good to sit down and relax. "Vanya. I know your hurt. I might be able to heal you a little bit more if you want me to." she said softly crawling over to him.

Blinking, Vanya thought for a moment, before licking her face, giving a negative woof and nosing her a little, attempting to get her to lie down. He would have shifted back, if it wasn't detrimental to his wounds, or his exhaustion. Instead, he curled up, snorting softly, and rested his head near hers, slipping into a light doze with his tail curled around his paws.

Usagi laughed a little when he licked her face. That felt realy odd. She nodded though at his negative bark and layed next to him. She closed her eyes and for the first time in what seemed liek ages she was able to relax. She soon fell into a deep sleep a look of peace crossing over her face.

Morning found Vanya sitting cross legged at the edge of the cave, humming quietly while he fixed a couple of strips of cloth around his torso. Not wanting to tire Usagi out while they were still far enough away from the village, he had bound the wounds in clean cloth after washing them in the stream a little ways away. Finished with his task, he closed his eyes, enjoying the warm sun on his face and shoulders.

Usagi was still fast asllep in very deep sleep. She was dreaming, something she hadn't done in a while, and she ended up mermering things in her sleep. Things mostly unrecognizable, but sometimes she would say Vanyas name.

Vanya's lips quirked up in a small smile, hearing Usagi's mutterings behind him. Eyes still closed, he sang quietly, greeting the new day with an old song from his pack, the lilting language accompanied by an odd series of chirps and other bird-sounds that stood out, yet blended in with the real bird-song.

Usagi woke up to the sound of Vanya singing thinking that it sounded pretty. She stood up and walked over to him sitting next to him. "You sound very interesting when you sing. It makes me curious about the type of people that you were in a pack with. It must have been nice to have had such a family" she said softly.

Tilting his head, Vanya paused, thinking. "They were an interesting bunch." He answered, smiling wistfully. "We were small for a pack, only ten of us. Elder Gyru, and his mate Frezia were the oldest, about 40 summers. Their pups, Hassan, Echoliala, and Derriac were next, with another who came from outside the pack to mate with Echo. Echo and Kai whelped Slade and Hera, the latter of which whelped myself and my sister Nimue. None of them knew who had mated my mother, and she never told." He shrugged, tapping his foot and thinking. "We were all close..." He murmured, staring off into space.

In the form of: Beverly sat up. She was momentarily confused. Not because of whta happened last night, that she remebmbered plainly. but the fact that she hadn't been woken up. "Lucian. you dolt." Beverly threw her legs over the side of the bed, stretching. It was obvious that in his exausted state he forgot that he had to go every three hours to give the medicine to the escaped love birds.
It clicked. That was how they got out. Beverly surpressed a snicker. Her tali was out of the door now, there was no way they could have known that she was involved with it. Quite fortunate for her. Beverly stood and wondered out the hallway, pulling at her unraveling bandages. She decided she would have to change them today, they were bloody and unraveling, but she wanted to see if Lucian was still asleep, first. So she started down that direction. Sarah Mae Beverly
